I grow up with pitbulls and i dont change pitbulls with anything else there are AMAZING dogs And as i always say you can have a small dog that you dont treat it good and it would be more aggresive than any pitbul/rottweiler/doberman or any of this kind and you can have a pitbull that you care and you treat as a decent human being and it would be like a little baby

You never know, there are some crappy owners out there that just let their dog loose with no training. Maybe that guy got bitten by a dog in the past and he's just being cautious, nothing wrong with that.
