I move to vote those sell out whores Metallica out and move Sepultura in. One of the most underrated thrash bands AND they didn't sell out like Metallica.
I got kicked out of class in my sophomore year in HS for wearing a Megadeth shirt... Rattle your God Damn Head... teacher was a Christian substitute hahahaha
Great Ep when I seen them in "86" they played 2 of the 3 songs off this! The only song they did not play is the Title Track of this. I was a little disappointed but Rein In Blood Tour there last great Underground Album to me! South Of Heaven I seen them too on that tour and they still did not play Haunting The Chapel! R.I.P. Jeff H. You wrote most of Slayers greatest songs anyway! No disrespect to Kerry King but Jeff was my favorite besides Dave Lombardo. Greatest Drummer in Thrash or Death Metal! And there were many great drummers.
I listen to this daily. And then i listen to it again And then i listen to it again And then i listen to it But also again But then also again I think its bc im awesome that i know to listen to it so many more again
First Slayer I heard, other than Kerry King banging that huge gong on MTV. Must have been 1988. So dark, evil, yet catchy. When Slayer became Slayer. Sounds like it was recorded in the dungeons of hell. This, Hell Awaits, and Reign in Blood are the unholy trinity of Slayer. But, no count-off on Captor of Sin? Tsk.
I've got a repress on white vinyl love this early Slayer. So dark and evil sounding they lost some of that darkness with Raign in blood but gained a whole lot of brutality I love those albums as well but sometimes unique and special about this and Hell awaits
My favorite off this is the Title Track Chemical Warfare was great and Captor Of Sin but this song was rarely played back in the day! "84 to " 88" when Slayer was The True Kings of Thrash and Death Metal before it was labeled Death Metal!
1984 or 83 .. small record store in Baltimore .. I bought this .. Read the back cover .. Ok .. put it on the turntable .. and took if off .. Cracked it over my knee ..

Divine Intervention is just as good as the stuff before it. Diabolous in Musica and God Hates Us All are the only COMLETELY shit albums. Christ Illusion, World Painted Blood, and Repentless aren’t perfect but they are pretty good overall
Pretty decent material. Prefer Show no Mercy and just about all other thrash bands: Testament, Metallica, Overkill,Sodom, neo-thrash. Araya is a second-rate vocalist.
What the heck? The edit of this is horrible! Why cut the end of Chemical Warfare and beginning of Captor of Sin and the same with every other song? It completely takes the fun out of Slayer and should be considered as cruel act of blasphemy!
While I understand your disappointment, my idea was to create a flow of non-stop awesomeness. It would not be possible to merge the songs if all of them were kept uncut.
fuck it ... slayer were the kings ... forget the big 4 ...slayer was the top 1
Nah - you don't want the old mosh scene you may be turned into a transexual if you do that wall of death.

WTF why is it cut to merge songs?? terrible
People can piss and moan but slayers last great album was seasons in the abyss, after that they never were quite the same.
I don't think they're intention was to stay exactly the same, for their entire career.
Divine Intervention is just as good as the stuff before it. Diabolous in Musica and God Hates Us All are the only COMLETELY shit albums. Christ Illusion, World Painted Blood, and Repentless aren’t perfect but they are pretty good overall
No fucking way dude God Hates is an unholy album! Fuck the nay sayers

Is that why so many TRY to emulate him to this day??
Of course! Popular means better. Logic at its finest.
Laura is a 9th rate hole
