ELEGANT LIFE IN THE SOUTH OF FRANCE - THE WORLD CAPITAL OF PERFUMES AND THE VILLAGE OF PICASSO
1 - Grasse is a city located in the south-east of France, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. Here is some information about this beautiful city:
History: Grasse has a rich history, being known since the Roman period. In the Middle Ages, the city became known for its leather production and perfume industry. It became an important center in the production of perfumes in the 17th and 18th centuries.

Волшебный городок. наверное не сохранилась вилла, где жил нобелевский лауреат русский писатель Иван Бунин, который в 30-е годы спускался вниз на площадь Грасса купить кусочек сыра и выпить кофе. К нему в гости приезжали многие известные люди: Шаляпин, Рахманинов и др. Жаль, если вилла не сохранилась.
