Really great video, I'd not pay too much attention to the criticism, your talking was one of the most realistic representations of how a person would actually react in that situation I've seen on a backrooms video. Don't change.
Thank you!
Criticism isnt a bad thing you know
@Rattoota neither is disagreeing with the tone and/or content of that criticism.
I’ve yet to see a realistic representation of how a person would react. All I see is people still saying that derp hello and what is this place. Kind of cliche. Imagine not panicking in a back room and people saying it’s a realistic reaction. 🤦🏾🙄

Finally, a backrooms tape where the person actually acknowledges that their never getting out, also a tape where it doesn't end after 1 tape
No monster.
Just exploring.
I love it!
Sequel?
There probably will be a sequel
That’s exciting.
I will wait patiently.
For those of you who didn't notice:
Some of the rooms in the video were modeled after levels in another backrooms exploration (but a game) called Anemiopolis. For example, the brick wall room after the "storage area" is modeled after the "country club" in Anemiopolis. Plus, the name of the video is also based off of Anemiopolis.
No way someone got the reference
@@MetronFilms97 i never heard of either.
@@MetronFilms97 :)
No wonder why this video felt so similiar to Anemiopolis to the name alone with "polis"
and also falling down from the surface is also taken from the game
I prefer this no monster/jump scare, just reality bending exploration style of found footage.
This video was amazing. I felt the experience of traveling through brazil and russia the vhs effect its amazing, without fear of being wrong this is one of the best experiences of my life thank you very much
Thank you for you're words 🙏
You didn't say 'amazing' enough.

6:58 "my god. I don't want to see this." Probably the single smartest line in all of backrooms lore.
This is great! I can tell you put a lot of work into this. I like your different representation of the backrooms.
I could explore many types of eerie rooms and hallways with this man! The eeriest is the clouds' wallpapers appearing here and there. That's makes me feel craziness.
Outstanding work! LOVED the different environments and how you integrated them together. Starting zone where the explorer started, along with the cloud covered, to the wallpapers, to the creepy dark regions along with the long corridors and meeting rooms and that sound showing the explorer is most likely not alone, were just some amazing highlights to an amazing found footage!
I feel like he talks too much at unnecessary moments but otherwise great vid
I feel like it is realistic, not every camera person is gonna be super quiet, if I were in their place I'd talk too mostly to fill the silence.
Bit too overly distorted too, audio wasn’t as saturated as that back then, some of it difficult to understand and hard on the ears
I like the extra commentary, I think the issue is that there are moments when it just sounds like it could have used another take to sound a little more natural
@@TayWoode well, maybe it was meant to have bad audio recording, because the guy seemed to have a bad audio recording
No me parece ningún nivel conocido insisto si es para entretener ?😮
"Hey look at this bunker"
*Falls In*
Well done. A lot of people talk to themselves. Especially when they are nervous. It reminds me of myself.
Good job--the only thing that stood out was the fact that if I fell down a fuckin' manhole and ended up in the Backrooms I assure you I'd sound a lot more freaked out.
Keep up the good work!
Upon impact with the ground, I would have whispered, "How did I survive that fall?"
Fantastic stuff . Really feels like Backrooms . Top shout man .
I love this video! Keep up the good work
The initial area here is the first backrooms area I could actually live in.
Assuming there was a comfortable bed somewhere, wifi and full delivery services, of course.
Oh! And no horrific beasts of nightmare stalking me! Assuming all that I could live there. And a dimmer switch for the lights. And a bar… ok I couldn’t really live there but kudos on a very interesting level!👍
(and extra points for the reflection in the glass door as it was opened, that was ballsy👍👍)
I like what you did with this, and I like the conceit that he was holding on to the idea that it was some kind of weird bunker. It might have been a good idea to make the whole thing with the elevator a bit more detailed; does he try to press up, but it only goes down? Does he notice that there are more floors above him than should be possible based on his fall? I feel like more details would add to the verisimilitude.
This is really cool stuff, you have a great talent.
I like the talking, when I'm alone in an uncomfortable place sometimes I'll talk out loud to myself
Very cool. I like that there’s no monsters and the variety of rooms. Nice work!
Thanks!
Hey, this is great! I love the “vaguely familiar” atmosphere of all the rooms that we explore. My only suggestion is to have less dialogue going forward. Other than that, good job! 👍 ❤️
Agree the dialog is unnecessary and breaks the inmursion
Love the Anemiopolis reference, I got it like monthes ago but never came back. good stuff though
love the background sounds between the beginning and middle of the video.
Great video man
tysm
Sound design is amazing
I really like this. Oftentimes I feel a lone cameraman would talk, I would, up until you realize you shouldn't be or something.
Great job bro. I subbed.
great video, the dialogue is a good addition, just needed worked on a little for the script. for example, 'the places feels old' is not quite right with a place that has fully functional power and is quite clean. perhaps something more like 'this place is odd, the lights are still on but no one's here? feels like people just left' Or something like that.
Still good vid, love to see dialogue in these, I feel minimal dialogue lets us feel like it's a real footage by a real person.
Very interesting version of the backrooms
COOL!
i see lot of the images from the teasers in here to
ye
Very nice!
Loved the voice acting! I always wonder why we never hear the inner turmoil.
Is he wearing high heels?
Anyways really good video, love it!
Just a little advice, from someone that has watched quite a few lost footage backrooms, lower the lighting just a little and allow shadow rendering to make the experience a bit more immersive. Currently the rendering that you have is good, but needs improvement. Not in the HD sense, but in the attention to details sense. Thanks for reading this, and I hope it helps with the next video you make.
and this video feels like a dream , liminal dream
I like how the guy recording is like that one stereotypical nerd that has sort of a lisp, which is more of a lishp.
Funny thing is I dont usually have a lisp but when I start speaking on a recording I magically get one out of nowhere
Or maybe its just the vhs audio effect I really dont know
15:21 reminded me of Starwars Dark forces, That one hallway on Jabba's Ship
sounds, editing, and voice acting are awesome but i do recommend to uppen the camera shaking and visuals alittle (pleease dont take this offensively)
Question, how did you make the powerpoint presentation from horrors from beyond space vol 2?
I just used the presets that I already had on my editing software to make it look like a powerpoint/wmm presentation
The only thing that makes the series unrealistic is the height
from which someone falls into the backrooms. The landing
from such a height would fracture or break legs or arms upon
impact with the floor leaving the person immobile.
He didn’t fall in the Backrooms though, he fell up through the hole in the ground and got pushed out onto the floor
fire video
🔥
The terror of resolution...
Any plans on uploading this as a world in VRChat? Would love to hang out here.
I was expecting u to turn around in the hallway at the end and the mannequin had followed u then froze in place . That would have been creepy having to always watch ur back and walk backwards to gain ground on it
very, very nice
10:41 I would have looked inside those filing cabinets for sure for any clues as to where I am or how to escape.
I appreciate how this didn't just walk into a entity at the end but even worse, a completed loop.
It would have been cool to see an entity at 12:09 that can't actually reach the cameraman but add a level of dread knowing that things like that exist. Then the video proceeds with that knowledge but never has the entity show up, Playing on that "alone but never alone" dread which makes the cameraman more fearful than if he was being chased. Plus it could have been a really subtle view of some movement around a corner followed by a noise. It's kind of like the movie Jaws, It's scary not because of the shark but the anticipation of the shark. Backrooms videos tend to skip the anticipation phase and just make it about a jump scare "you walked into the wrong room and now this thing is chasing you at just the right speed that it doesn't catch you immediately but doesn't fall far behind either"
It would have been cliché but cool to see the manikin pull a "elf on the shelf" on the cameraman. Basically changing locations but not appearing to move when the camera looks at it. It's not so much the manikin is an entity, It's more of a distortion of reality that the human brain can't comprehend.
But gimmicks aside this video is great purely for the look and feel.
6:39 was well done, When I saw that I was like "nope, nope, I wouldn't walk into that, nope"
Then the Cameraman walked back into the elevator and went somewhere else.
I'd want to keep quiet.. just in case.. your trespassing..
When you feel unlucky in ur life just remember those people who end up in the backrooms
Pretty good.
I love seeing out side environments in a large complex like this.👌
10:25 im hearing minecraft cage sounds untill 11:00
amazing work!! however, I have but one complaint, the footsteps SFX on the carpet and street sound like they are on the same hard smooth surface. Would have been better if you changed the footstep SFX to match the surface types.
I did change the footstep sound effects tho, it was a lot more noticeable without the audio effects but I think the vhs audio quality kinda ruined it
Are you the guy that used to interview Kaiju toys from ultra man?
Yeah thats me
It looks like a nice place live ☺️
For someone who’s 14, not bad! Wish I can model a scene like this. Unless there’s a tutorial for it.
Who would want to create the perfect storage environment? AMAZON, that's who....
cool good job but i dont know why he isnt panicing he is just chill
Amazing talking funny as hell
It would be freaky if these places actually existed.......and were found out to be the new cities for the upcoming escape places for the global apocolypse.
dude how did you edit the audio? it sounds like kane pixels found footage 2's audio . I also want to create found footage
I used something called “tape Mello-fi” I think Kane used it too
@@MetronFilms97 thank you so much .
Broski isn't scared enough great rendering tho
This is just like backrooms on the ps2. I love the commentary! To be honest, it would be cool if you actually made it so that your lore is in some way implemented into a ps2 cutscenes backrooms story. Like actually trying to follow ps2 game quality and design of story.. i don’t know just lwtting my mind speak!!
The reason why the creepiest videos are creepy is because they allow the viewer to put themselves in the shoes of the person experiencing it... to the point of thinking that person isn't there, it's just you. And giving a "Hello?" here and again (and maybe one wtf) is fine, but when you narrate the whole thing, saying it's creepy, saying it's weird, saying it shouldn't be like this, asking if a door is clearly a door (why?!)... you're telling the audience how to feel, and taking them out of the immersion.
Not to say that people still aren't able to enjoy the video as the scary experience of someone else, but it's less scary because you know it's not happening to you. And speaking of the voice, I don't understand why it's so messed up. I grew up in the VHS era, and I've never heard peoples' voices garbled so badly as if they're gargling constantly.
And sure it's different from other backrooms videos, but different doesn't always mean better. I toggled back and forth about saying anything at all, but the thing is you got just about everything else right so I felt this was constructive criticism.
Look carefully at crystal door reflection at 04:30 (stop the video): the protagonist is no longer human, he is like the statue at the end of video, only he still has meat and muscles to walk, after a while, he will be petrified like the previous one: the white, slender, horribly revealing statue 😮!
That was a rendering issue but that’s a pretty interesting way to look at it
does that mean he is the statue from “Kenoapolis - Basements (Backrooms Found Footage)”?
at 13:22 we can see his human face
If you pause it
Good sound.
Unity graphics be like
have you played a game called The Indigo Parallel? It is super weird if you like the backrooms you might like it a lot
No I havent
I loved it a lot! But why would someone just jump into a very long deep
hole? Or was it an accident? I mean, he said that he would go in. I know
I probably wouldn't go jumping into mysterious holes that have liminal
music playing from them, lol. Nicely done, and great title too. Although the
ground looked a little fake before he jumped, like straight out of a simulation.
🤔🤨🤨🤨🤔🤔😊😊😊
He was gonna take the ladder but he sliped
@@MetronFilms97 Okay. Love your channel btw.
13:22 what is that model of the face?
I used an Actorcore model
@@MetronFilms97 nice i like how you can see the model there, we never see the person behind the camera a lot of the times
very good but work on door animations it kinda looks like the person is opening the door with his mind and you can see the reflection of the guy at one part other than that very good vieeo
Yeah I realized that, thanks!
Enjoyable vid. If the acting was more believable, it’d be a wonderful vid.
do entity chase for next video!!
Alr
this video wasnt bad, but the explorers voice sounds so robotic! im assuming the voice is AI generated? anyway, AI or not you might have the explorer talk less rapidly (for example in a few parts he would make one comment and then immediately make another random comment about something else. to make it sound more human-like the voice/AI would need to take a minute to think after the first sentence before stating the second) aside from that little criticism, the environments looked good and the pacing was decent. i have to admit, i thought the statue was gonna pull a weeping angels on the explorer and chase after him when he wasnt looking at it! in a way im disappointed at the lack of an entity chase at the end of the video but sometimes getting lost can be just as scary! good job overall! hope to see more from you in the future!
The voice ain’t ai generated 💀
Only critique is the talking. It seemed to be more observations that would have just been thoughts. Otherwise great work!
Love everything but the footsteps. They sound really forced, and outta sync. You could jsut leave em out. If it's hard, or keep em in idgaf, the video is great. I just wanted to leave a little feedback, thank you for this
There are church bells audible meaning there‘s christianity in the Backrooms.

Way too much talking to themselves. I know some people out there do talk to themselves, but the acting isn't convincing enough for me to get past it. Pretty good one besides that though.
better if there was no voice
Talks like a kid who grew up on youtube.
Too easy to see the low graphics quality.
But I definitely could see you improving your craft to make very good content like this.
The low graphics is cause of TH-cam compression and I honestly don’t agree with the first one at all
@M. G. W. I mean, when you first fall in the entrance and the camera is on the ground, you can see the pixels. They are blurred but still. It makes it kinda in your face that it's not real. But if you can't avoid it no big deal.
Also, the entrance looked not real.
I like that you don't include monsters or anything moving. Also, your transition effects looked good. Though the quick cuts are a bit jarring.
@@DragonFruitXVI Yeah the pixels on the ground was a texturing issue but quick cuts like those are literally in every other Backrooms video on TH-cam
I'd like to see you do better.
@Total Internal Reflection you kids can't take constructive criticism, can you?
Way too much talking but it's balanced out by the very strong liminal space uncanny valley something isn't right atmosphere.
If you decide to continue your version of the backrooms. Please reduce the dialogue. Don't eliminate it as it's a personal touch but the other problem is he sounds very unconvincing of the otherworldly experience around him.
Thank you! There will be less talking in future videos
Why, he's holding a camera and recording what he's seeing why wouldn't he talk? Most backrooms vids don't talk enough about how weird it is to find yourself in that space
@@Totalinternalreflection that's a fair point and wouldn't be a bad thing of the acting wasn't bad.
shh! no talking in the backrooms please
