    I love your video. Yes, I grow many types of foods in my garden. My soil is black and gets very hot in the summer! Purslane grew under all my plants, covering the hot soil, and SAVED my garden this year! I will nurture this plant with my others, since it serves a good purpose! I know it is edible too, so I don't feel bad giving this plant care. ❤👍

    I have already ordered some golden purslane seeds and have a hanging pot and shepherd hook waiting. We do have wild purslane growing around here but I am going to try growing it myself.

    Do we need to check what branch are we planting in the soil or just like one random branch planting gonna help growing?

    • @SasiRekhaskitchen
      @SasiRekhaskitchen  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Stronger stems survive and will get roots faster. usually any random branch will survive. It is an easy to grow plant. Thankyou for watching.

    I congratulate you for introducing innovative creative new uploads,
    As I am health and longevity researcher, I observe, that we should phase out too much starchy grains,and increase proportionally all greens, I am vegan, and found so much beneficial effects of fresh or lightly steamed greens,

    This plant is good for having like vinegar pickle but in combination of chilies. They are delicious with rice & noodles and khichdis. I am in UAE but immigrated from New Delhi. in our gardens this grows like wild because of heat & sandy soil.

      Purslane has round pinkish stem and almond shaped thick leaves. The plant will get small yellow flowers and the seeds are black and tiny. I don't know that there is a poisonous purslane.
