      Yes... Kalaripayattu is traditional martial art of Keralam, India.
      It's still practised in Keralam.

    Kung fu that you guys are talking about is just one style out of the 100s that exist. There are direct fights like karate, there are stealth and/smooth movements like what you already know. There is no strong border between karate and kung fu. Also, Indian civilization is 1000s of years older than what you may be thinking and wars have existed in ancient India, so it's natural to have developed martial arts styles.

    Their 2 main reasons why India does not associate with martial arts in Morden day,
    1. The british, the usual suspect when the british took over India they banned all the martial practice, and they wrote history of India in the derogatory way that still taught western and Indian schools and universities
    2. The marketing of Chinese, the Chinese cleverly disassociated all the connection their martial culture have with India

      I don't know if it is the mother of all martial arts. It is a traditional martial art of Keralam, India and maybe it influenced other martial arts...❤❤

      @@CJ-ud8nf kalaripayatu was created by one of lord Vishnu's avatar parushurama but it often believed as a myth.in sankrit it is referred as ithihasa. Ithihasa mean story that happened in the past in the land of Bharat

      @@weirdAnxiety-nk8hd this story is actually false. Kalaripayattu is combination of two Malayalam words. Kalaripayattu was originated in Keralam because of longing wars between Keralam and neighboring kingdoms.

    03:17 here it says Bodhidharma was the son of King Simhavarma. In many other videos they say King Sugandhan is the father of Bodhidharma. 🤨. His exact place in south India is unknown. Most of the stories on TH-cam are just fake.❌ Clear details of Bodhidharma is unknown.🧘

    Varamakalai
    Vajarmushati etc
    But the kalairipaitu was Given by Lord 🕉️ Parashurama 🕉️

      Too bad parashuram didn't give knowledge of vadakkan Kalaripayattu to north Indians... Instead he gave this art to Keralites. Also Agastya muni didn't teach thekkan Kalari to north Indians instead he also gave this martial art knowledge to Keralites. Whaaaat....?? Maybe this parashuram story is just a lie.... It's just martial art of Keralam originated in Keralam...😮

      And now in current time peoples like u try to manipulate the things
      Because in past this knowledge was for everyone

    Actually there is no historical evidence of Bodhidharma 🧘 in South India. It is not known exactly where he came from...

      Bodhidharma was the second Indian Buddhist monk to travel to Southern China. He was born to King Sugandha in the late 5th century. After Bodhidharma was born, he became a member of the warrior caste called Kshatriya.

      But we all know the roots that he was a Sanatani hindu
      So in the same way people bring up there own different concepts just to prove there lies
      Like if u see Samudragupt name but in history they were two different Dynasty one was morya Dynasty and even gupta dynasty
      And both has Samudragupt
      Currently in tamilnadu the missionaries plays there own rool even fools say that 🕉️Rama setu is an Adams bridge
      But Adam has no connection with it
      Some explorer copied the map and changed the name from 🕉️ Rama setu to Adams bridge and the fools have accepted this lies
