- A brief discussion of Dr. Jordan B. Peterson’s court case regarding freedom of speech in Canada. The College of Psychologist’s is forcing mandatory “social media re-training” in order for Jordan to keep his license, after a dozen or so complaints were submitted online about his tweets and Joe Rogan podcasts. The Supreme Court has ruled against his appeal, ruling that the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms has no force against the mid level bureaucrats who rule the professional colleges and regulatory boards.
This is a blow to all working professionals in Canada who value freedom of speech, to say nothing of those they serve.

Freedom of speech is in opposition to the discipline to say scientific truths. Many folks do not understand the difference and some make a career of it. Freedom of speech is too close to freedom to misinform. Are we sure of “honesty”?

There must be an incredible story of the inside workings of this professional association and others like it. The media or proper journalism should take a hard investigative look. I hope Dr. Peterson is able to video tape his re-education. It is likely the case that should Dr. Peterson attend this 'education' he would be required to be bound to whatever he agrees to in session. Even if he changes his mind later. I think all of the individuals involved should be named in a documentary.

Anyone with a regulatory body that governs their profession is vulnerable and could lose their career at a moment’s notice.
Our fundamental freedoms as Canadians are being eroded every day. It makes me angry and sad. As a senior I have never seen anything like this in my life and I'm especially angry about the compelled speech aspect of C-16 and the upcoming C-63. The Canadian Government should NOT be telling private citizens in public or online what they HAVE TO SAY. Far too Orwellian for me.

I have arthritis and a hip replacement but I can lift heavier weights than I could when I was in my twenties. Also, despite failures I am still writing songs and improving all the time. Thank goodness. I have had this theory for several years now, but was unable to gain any ground as to how to prove it, Ma'am.
My theory is that for the last 25 years or so, the psych fields, MD's, law, etc were being indoctrinated..People believe that it's just gender studies and the kind of degrees that really don't qualify for an actual job were responsible for what we are seeing out here and have been seeing.
I disagreed with that.
However when I see a college student being asked, What is a woman and they answer w/o hesitation,
'A state of mind' then when told, that is not correct, they reply, my therapist said that's what a woman is..
Then that field (I'm not hating on any one person just the Puppet Masters. They own 80% of the world, including the US Federal Gov and have for years.
I saw someone who has seen several psych professionals since we first were aquatinted, about 2 years, maybe 3.

We got to talking and she told me that her sister was staying with her and stave 4 uterine cancer. She also has 3 children. I just listened, sometimes that's all people need is to be seen and really listened to. They don't want anything, sympathy, or anything but a non-judgemental ear.

So she mentioned the place that I got to for a 27:26 hematological issue I have. I thought very highly of these ppl..I asked her they diagnosed it as 4th stage. She starts explaining to me how they arrived at the conclusion of it

Ma'am, I am 55 yrs young. I have intimate knowledge of cancer. That is not how they diagnose the stage of cancer you have.

I just want to say THANK YOU! It is very encouraging and refreshing to see someone standing, especially when I see no one else standing up. You know, I've been following this for about 3 or 4 years and I have to say, I am really surprised that your government has taken it to this point. It would be comical if I didn't know exactly what this means for Canada. When I think about that it's frighting. I admire your resolve. I hope that someday the people of Canada realize what you sacrific for them. Even that should be interesting b/c in my experience I had my phone taken away from my when I was in hospital (medical) and tried to photograph my own treatment and my phone was taken from me and the photos I'd taken were deleted. I was shocked but it wasn't that huge of a deal I was just shocked that someone felt that doing that was ok without giving me any info on why it was done. Nobody else was in the room where I took the photos, just me and 3 nurses and none of them were anywhere near where I was photographing myself and my injuries up close.
