      It happens I know even though I'm not a actual parent but I've helped raise my cousins and I've babysat enough babies to know that maternal instincts can happen to anyone at any age. If I hear any baby cry whether human or animal I go dashing towards the sound to help the baby.

    Most of the time I just take my 6 month old into the bathroom with me when I need to shower and freshen up. I strap him into his little infant bouncer seat. And I talk to him while bathing so he hears my
    Voice and peek out at him here and there so he sees my face. That way he knows I’m haven’t left him even though I’m not holding in that moment. It helps so much. I can now have a full 15 minutes of shower time without him crying 😊
    I do the same thing when I have to cook. Place him at a safe distance and do what I have to do, but interact talk to him about what I’m doing.

    Dad has to learn fast. The baby won't be better off if he loses his sanity, health, job, and house. He has to think of himself, too. Babies cry because they don't know any languages. They are not in terrible pain. Crying is more like a doorbell than a fire-alarm.
    And never tell a child to stop crying.

      I think if these mom’s partners want them to keep up their appearance, then they should give them time for self care and handle the baby while the mom can go to a beauty salon or whatever. It’s unreasonable when the dads expect the mom to look good while she might have no time between house chores and child care duties. And it goes both ways. I think the dad in the video should get some time for himself so that he can feel good and clean while the mom is then with the baby. I always thought parenting is teamwork and I’m not sure how some people expect a baby and then throw all duties onto their partner and complain on top of that when their partner doesn’t look their best and is tired most of the time, that’s just so selfish.

    He gave me a teddy bear medium skinnyish sack type one it was a red Liverpool teddy bear I slept with it every night like I always had it with me and if I had lost it which I did a few times I would look for it like crazy I would be so upset because it made things easier when away from my father when I was little.

    My nephew was like that when he was a baby… he was supposed to sleep over one night at our house but he couldn’t stop crying. and his cry wasn’t like this baby’s it was the type where it sounded like they were getting hurt so my mom had to call my brother and his wife to come pick him up again bc we were scared the neighbors might call the cops on us 🤣
    and for those wondering, yes we tried EVERYTHING we gave him a second bath, changed his outfit, tried to feed him, took off his diaper, we walked around our whole house, went outside for a walk and even took him for a drive but he wouldn’t stop.

    The love & connection is absolutely beautiful & heartwarming. But dad should’ve had as long & relaxing a shower as possible. It’s not easy to let a baby cry, but it doesn’t hurt them, won’t last forever, & they need to be able to self-soothe & be soothed/calmed by other adults/people.

      @@milky.funland Babies & kids learn & develop self-soothing techniques hands on, in-the-moment (when they’re actually upset/melting down) & over time. It’s also generally best when the tykes are guided/coached through various tricks & tactics to calm themselves by an involved & loving adult/parent. I’m pretty sure we’re in agreement as I *was* specifically talking about what’s going on in the video; wherein even if the dad had backed away & let the baby cry, it would’ve been doing so in the arms of another caring adult.

He doesn't trike laying down because his neck is out of the normal position. Which is why auntie couldn't soothe him. Try to think of this situation from more than one side. Dad if you are always afraid of him being unhappy he may not understand that he can make himself ok with his situation. Self soothing. Pulling him out of discomfort can set a habit of escaping what he fears and that can lead to fear of trying. Plus he gets the unconscious message his dad doesn’t have faith in him. I watched that play out in my family. I regret my part in letting that happen.
    Jun Beom’s dad… There is a balance that can only be found with understanding child development and understanding yourself and your own fears. All the best to your family❤

    • @pinkivankar9973
      @pinkivankar9973 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@milky.funland Yep. You're are absolutely right. Although, I did find the comment about their family I bit unneccesary...
      Babies cry bc they need a need met. Babies that small can't self-soothe. They think they are an extension of their parents. Especially their mom. Which makes sense since the baby was part of the mom for nine months.
      In Child Psychology class, I learned that babies may not remember being neglected but it often stays with them subconsciously. The neglect experienced as an infant often impacts a person negatively as they grow up. The infant stage of develoment is a huge part of development. Please don't neglect your babies when they cry ya'll. They only have you to rely on.

    • @trixy1823
      @trixy1823 ปีที่แล้ว

      I tried to keep my comment short and caused a misunderstanding. I agree with both replies. My focus was not on the child’s needs and fears but more on Dad’s reaction. Of course security and getting emotional support is absolutely essential. It is the fear that emanates from Dad that concerned me and what message it sends to his son. No questions that dad deeply loves his son but his actions seem to say “My son can only get comfort from me”. He constantly came back into the room fearful. A baby absolutely picks up on that fear and translates it into a concern for his own survival. In this video his Dad is giving him no proof that the world outside his arms is safe. I am also concerned dad is getting too much validation from being “That protector”. Unconsciously reinforcing that fear. DO NOT interpret my comment as a judgement on Dad. I feel he would be the first to look at my suggestions and learn from it because I know he would do anything for his child.

    Nope, baby needs his parents. They don’t know that, when baby got spoil or not depends on how the parents lead him when he was baby to growth and behave well. Mom could changer his diaper and so pamper him until he stop crying, later he will understand that his mom does or done for him because she loves him and care for him.

    Maybe first baby but he has to let the baby cry or he'll be spoiled

    Sorry but I’m not a fan of helicopter parents. I get that it’s his first but you’re just making it harder for yourself in to long run. You’ll be the parent every caretaker and teacher dreads having.

    We call it "Spoiled by the hand" in our family kid only want mom or dad to carry or hold them

      @Ogar Yep I know but this baby is not older than 8 months and at this age, some babies may experiment "separation anxiety" which is just a key-step in their development. It's just wrong to use the term "being spoiled" especially at this age :)
      But I totally agree with u

    I understand the dad is worried but why does he keep showing up triggering the baby? he should've trusted that woman and shower

      100% agreed. This video was cute but annoyed me at the same time. The dad kept popping up back and forth. Didn’t even give the woman a chance to soothe the baby and get use to her.

      Yes but he’s only causing for the baby to get used to him and him only. Long-term the child will have social issues coming from experience

    This is cringey. There is nothing wrong with the baby crying for a few minutes. His aunt has him and is taking good care of him. The dad needs to learn how to self care with a baby. Put the baby in a seat. Take him into the bathroom where you can see him. Take a shower while u talk to him. There is so much going on in this little clip that makes me cringe.

      Nothing cringey here and that's the point of the show 😅
      The new dad is learning and I bet that many parents acted the same as him with their newborns.

    What a fuss pot that dad is. Babies cry at times. They don’t have to be glued to you . They learn to lay down on their own not in bed with a parent.
