you're the goat man. love how much you put other creators on and how consistent you are with uploads. i think 90% of decks i play i got from you, keep it up legend
I think Arishem will be similar to Agatha where you can build a deck around her and sometimes crazy things can happen and you’ll win, but more times than not you won’t have rng on your side and you lose. Excited to try it out though!
After a good three hours with Arishem, I'm convinced that it’s not only a really fun card but also a very good one. I especially believe that there will be a really good conquest deck with Arishem and a lot of tech. Knowing what combos the opponent has and how to disrupt them after playing 1-2 cautious rounds, while remaining unpredictable yourself, is an extreme advantage. With the right mix of snap and retreat, you should win many matchups. I'm very curious to see how you find the card and what deck ideas come in the next videos (I firmly believe that Blob + Absorbing Man + Mystique in one deck will be a thing). By the way, a few interesting observations: - Arishem can create cards that you already have in your deck, so you can have cards twice that way. - Arishem can put Agatha into the deck, but she doesn’t necessarily start in the hand. Once you draw her, she takes control until she plays herself on turn 5.
Agree, he has been great at winning even in high infinite. Darkhawk will keep Arishem in check but great into anything else. Blob, quinjet, loki, coulson, cable, Mockingbird so good. And some tech cards too!
I'm excited and I love the concept of Arishem, but I think a good player against it can exploit the fact that he/she doesn't have 12 random extra cards. As a result, I find it hard to see Arishem in a competitive scenario.
Just wanted to say thank you for this video. I made my own version of the Fazzer Darkhawk deck and easily got Infinite Conquest and a sparkly new avatar. :)
I got Arishem in one key and do not regret spending it!! I have been doing better with the chaos than I have been with specific designs really, and it has been the most fun I've had in months. I had stepped back from playing and this card has brought me back to playing more often because every game is different
I think Arishem will be a bit of an inconsistent high roll, but fun to figure out how to best use your random stuff in different scenarios, with opponents having no clue what's coming.
Arishem seems to have a good mitigation between adding 12 random cards and giving us +1 Energy; for sure great surprise factor for both the player and its opponent. Thanks for sharing many interesting info about Snap and its community & how-to-play some of the best (sleeper) decks in the game. Thank you also for giving away!
As a pool 3 player Woodward Zoo has been very good for me, having Hit-Monkey, Zero, and Titania. I have only 5 pool 3 cards left to get, and I still don't have Martyr (no great loss) so as you suggested, I play Scarlet Witch and playing that on turn 6 on Limbo is awesome. Mindscape is a great location for Woodward Zoo if you can play Black Swan on 4 and empty your hand on 5 you leave nothing for your opponent to play other than their one card. I didn't open for Phastos, haven't tried the Phastos version of Woodward Zoo. I do play Elektra, it's good against Nebula, Sunspot, Antman, and sometimes Deadpool on turn 6. I tend to do poorly vs Destroy, Hela, and High Evo and of course Sandman.
I gave up on Marvel snap earlier this year but still had a frequent look at your videos. Now I feel like playing again. Opening spotlight cache feels ok, as I'm missing many cards, so I think I'll open for Arishem. I think Arishem will be fun, but not meta due to the randomness of the draw.
The first "big bad" I bought with tokens was Thanos.... Arishem is a must purchase (because I need Hercules for the upcoming move meta) because he is a unique card - I love the challenge of using unknown cards to beat my opponent. That is why I love Loki so much.
After the first couple of days with Arishem in the game, I'd say it's a great card with the right deck, though difficult to use. The extra energy is such an advantage that, with the right hand, the Arishem user always has the Snap equity in the game. It all comes down to figuring out when to retreat if the 12 random cards are screwing over a game-winning plan
Since I'm watching this video after a while, I'll answer the question the way I thought at that point in time: I thought Arishem would be a deck just for fun. I didn't want to open it, but then people's happy exclamations quickly spread through the chat that Arishem is not only a cheerful archetype, but also very strong. I also liked the fact that the decks with it can be assembled as a constructor.
I stay up to watch your vids every night and these longer form ones are sooo good. I’m not high on arishem because I want to actually play the cards I put in my decks. I think he is an A tier card
I’m intrigued by Arishem and will likely buy him before next week, but I intend to feed on him with Darkhawk based on how many people seem to think Arishem will be good. Regarding your question, I think Arishem will settle somewhere between mid and less-than-mid ultimately, and wouldn’t be surprised to see the card adjusted within the next month or two. I’m fully aware it’s likely I’m wrong though. Is this a fence I’m sitting on?
I think it's worth getting Arishem if you like to play chaos decks for fun sometimes. I would never spend tokens on him, but I gladly spent my keys (also cause I wanted Herc as well). Another great vid, thanks for everything
I think Arishem is too random, 12 cards is just too much, but there is no way we know for sure until we test him, that being said I'm getting him either way, he is just pure fun
Well, I'm torned on this one... The concept of Arishem is interesting (a one-card game mode!) but the RNG is quite strong with this one too. I'm actually tempted to open just to build the move deck without any S5 you featured in a recent video.
Definitely excited and opening for Arishem. It's closest we have to limited game mode, which is all I play in other card games. Also, I don't have Hercules or Black Swan, so easy decision for me.
Turns out Arishem is actually really good, and on top of that also the most fun card in the game. Double value! Watched TLSG get through all five infinity games in conquest with Arishem and watched some Dera, Alex/Cozy etc. Played him myself for a few hours and he is very good and easy to snap with :D
Ok, Arishem just seems nuts, I will totally buy it! Thanks for the % about draws etc. there's another thing to take account, what % of cards are on reveal and what % can further disrupt you or your opponent... it's crazy!
I love move, my brain is fully wired that way, so I'm all here for Hercules, and Arishem is gonna be fun to play with just for the randomness. He'll be great for people who are adaptable, or just forget what's in their deck, like me! But he's not gonna be meta.
Arishem is really good in Conquest mode! I think he might get a little down this week when people start targeting him, but after the new season coming he should be back to competitive.
I opened for Sersi knowing very well that the consistency is missing in her ability for sure, but it was just a very fun card. I have vvvv similar expectations for Arishem; the 12 cards just absolutely demolish any expectation of consistency with this card, so I don’t expect it to ever be at the top of top, but I definitely expect it to see a lot of play just coz how much fun he will be. I believe he is appropriately hyped and will be extremely fun, just not competitive on a consistent level! Definitely opening for it!!
12:53 Something that just occurred to me looking at Rez snapper’s list (also curious who you’d sub out for Phastos in that lust..?); having Hobgoblin paired with blob is kinda brilliant..? Think about it, eating hob goblin means blob has to eat MORE cards, which in this instance can sorta be of use..? Nothing is statistically likely to be curved out all the time but yeah, blob in hand and hob in deck may be one of the better Dark Hawk counters..
Thanks for the video! I think Arishem is going to be very good--good enough to need the Hela treatment (negative power on generated cards). Today's question: Move is getting significantly better in the coming months. What other perenially subpar decks would you like to see buffed.. that aren't better as fringe decks (ex Negative)?
I think I agree that it may come out worse than what he truly is with Darkhawk being prominent early. WillowCCG had a really good thread on Twitter about it. I don’t have Hercules (and am 11/12 on the Dan Hipp move album) so it might be an easy buy for me. Safety’s hasty review approval would probably put me over the edge later today
I think arishem is gonna be really good! I’m really excited to try him out and I think the best version will be Loki. If arishem gives you bunz cards, just play Loki and then you’re just playing your opponents deck but way better than usual. I think I’m going to play rogue and enchantress because dark hawk is gonna be an issue. Thanks for the arishem deck outlines, I think uatu is really funny and I’m definitely gonna try him lol
My take is that Arishem isn’t going to be competitive due to the wildly inconsistent play, but will definitely be a lot of fun. I will be grabbing via spotlight because I also need Hercules (never thought I’d say that!). Love the inclusion of chapters and love you and your detailed breakdowns as always!
I'm late as hell so I had a bit of time to try out arishem but only on conquest he's definitely fun as hell and I think he'll be at the very least decent
I’m sure I’ll figured it out after playing a bit but my initial thought (I also just woke up 😅) is how you even know when you’re playing an Arishem deck generally 😅🫣; cause yeah Darkhawk in hand and figuring that sounds like a snap condition to me 👌
For me Arishem is worth getting it just because he is defiantly unpredictable but also fun and if a card is fun i will be getting it, i personally don't care if he's meta i just wanna have a fun and interesting time playing.
I think cards like Arishem are important to add a fun twist to the game, one of the things I love in MTG is making really fun and weird decks and I think he will open up some cool stuff like we saw in this video how unique all the decks were. Do I think he will be meta? Not really? but fun? Definitly.
I expected 3 or 4 keys to open Arishem, but actually opening 1st try 😂 I also wanted Hercules but I don't know take risks 3-keys for this series-4 card.
Can you pls ask SD internally if the splits with Arishem is a bug or not? Currently he is not getting the same border with the random cards and as a fan of splits this sucks :P
Easy hour 1 open! (needing herc as well helps) I'm ODing on the copium that he'll be a solid card that doesn't need several meta cards to fuel it's engine
I'm actually tempted to try Arishem ASAP, he looks very interesting for me personally, plus we'll be holding a Arishem tournament soon as some kinda replacement for the dead Agatha tournaments(ah, they were beautiful), I think it should be fun! Although the idea of potentially overrunning Darkhawk decks in ladder is a bit annoying. Of course I wouldn't recommend buying this card, especially for beginners (buy real meta/imba cards).
I'm a new f2p player so arishem brings an extra fun factor to the game and allows me to play with cards I will not have for a long time. I will probably lose but I'll have fun doing it
Ari Shem is going to be fun, but not really my personal style. Can’t wait to see what folks cook up! If it’s truly fun, I’ll use keys bc I also need Hercules who is getting better.
I think Arishem isn't going to be good, but will be a lot of fun for folks looking to mix it up. I like your comparison to Evo with him, but ultimately I think Evo is better.
It's evil to show a good Darkhawk deck in Arishem's video. 😆 The card and the concept seem incredible to me but sadly my prediction is that Arishem will just be another card in Loki's deck. I'm going to wait until Friday to decide if I open caches because I also need Hercules for the upcoming Spidey cards.
Pretty excited that we might get a new High evo type of card that change up the way we play , but also very skeptical to how the Ai /rng will mess up your card draw. I think it will make playing games with cards you didn't pick will be a challenge some will like. Hopefully the meta won't self destruct. It will probably last until Casandra comes out. Would be fun to try before we get an High Evo update and the new mechanics like activate. 😊
I think Arishem will be fun, and having extra energy plus the ability to use snapping and retreating to your advantage to hedge your bad draws will make it at least a mid tier deck.
I think it won’t necessarily be meta however it will be very very fun, it will also be difficult for your opponent to play around what you may or may not have. I think good players who know how to analyze what they have will be successful with Arishem!
i think arishem is gonna be reasonably good i think. good players will win with it for sure; some will not like the randomness like with lockjaw.. not really worth opening except one enjoys new cards..
Hey Glazer - I can't wait for Arishem (got my keys ready because I don't have Hercules, and I like the Black Swan variant - even if I like more the one that we got from season pass - just like you). It will be fun to play but idk if it will competitive.
I think Arishem will be a meme card. Fun for players who enjoy chaos and randomness, but for those that prefer to have a plan to climb the ladder it will not be fun. I believe its downside can be minimized with cards like Quinjet, Mocking and Blob as you mentioned in the video, but I also see cards like Loki bringing more consistency, Phastos for even more energy cheating, Corvus Glaive to be ahead by 2 energy and to free up your hand. I can see random cards with no previous connection fitting into an Arishem archetype, but I think once the achertype is defined, there will be little variation to it and the deck will require certain cards to be played in a more "controlled" fashion for Infinite ladder.
I was not considering Arishem initially, but then i saw WoodyMJ (top 2) playing the other day and he was getting some great plays using helacarrier. So I think Arishem will actually be great.
I think Arishem will break into the meta on occasion, almost similar to Galactus style decks. Every so often in the right meta it will rise to the top, but never stay there for too long.
I definitely want to open Arishem, I'm sure I'll find him fun. For the most part I find District X is good for me, in a way Arishem is almost like getting a draft deck, a lot of picks you want and some stuff you don't quite love to fill it out. Sometimes you'll get lucky pulls, sometimes you won't. For my builds, heavy on tech cards - if not to just be an answer deck to protect against DarkHawk. Blob for similar reasons. Very tempted by Mystique for Blob, although unlikely to see both but she might be a good surprise otherwise, just not sure I'll have the space. Agree with the card generation stuff, same for Loki. I'm in an odd spot where I like the idea of Sera but not Quinjet. There will be 3 turns you can play the jet and it obviously should hit targets, but with the extra energy and probably preferring to play my own chosen cards I'm not sure it matters as much. That and the 1/2 body is a duff late game draw if with extra energy you're playing out your hands. It doesn't surprise me the video has 10 lists, as my mind has gone down so many builds, so many adjusted archetypes that get a new dynamic with Arishem. My mind went to Sera/good stuff lists and Loki/card generation ones, but Evo definitely works (not a fan of the 1's though) and I even think mill has potential - at least, Glad, Zemo and Cable because they have decent stats and your opponent will definitely run out before you. Oh and Mockingbird continues to be the best card, not really a question here, she basically holds Arishem's hand in my deck building.
I think Arashem will be a “fun” card as well as a skill testing card. I’ve heard the take from many people that it’s District X -the card. I tend to do well with that location and I’m looking forward to playing with Arashem. It’s an instant 6k token buy from me.
I don't think Arishem will be meta--I think it will be up towards the top but I feel it's going to be too much to bank on certain cards while counters abound. Thanks for answering my question! It's double down to avoid any confusion.
I really have no idea if Arishem will be meta but he will be the most fun card released in the last few months and almost a must have because no other card can replace him and he has so many dials that 2nd dinner can turn to make him a good/meta card if he isn't already on release!
Normally, I wait until at least Friday for new cards, but this time I'm going to jump in right at release. I just want to try Arishem for myself - I've been thinking about possible deck builds for days. Blob, Mockingbird, and Loki are must-haves for me, and Coulson sounds very sensible too, generally draw cards. I'm still not so convinced about Quinjet. Sure, it sounds logical at first, but when do you actually play it? Having it in your starting hand is super unlikely, and otherwise, you usually want to take advantage of having more energy than your opponent. Playing it early together with another card will also be extremely rare. However, I still find ReZ Snapper's deck super exciting (also without Phastos) as well as your deck. I'll try both. It's going to be a fun evening tonight - and as for the question: How's the card? Absolutely no idea - with one exception: I don't think it will be meta-dominating because random cards are simply more complicated, requiring you to know what the cards do well (which you often only understand if you've played them a few times). The many people who mostly play their 2-3 comfort archetypes won't get many wins with it and will then switch to the much easier-to-play Darhawk and win against the Arishems ;)
Haha, Arishem is fun. Game ddin't want me to play him at the beginning. got Lamentis and district x as locations in my first 2 games *lol* - but after that. And a cool playline: Blob on turn 5, Absorbing man on turn 6 - you'll win!!! Blob & Absorbing Man could become the thing ;) automatic snap if you've both on hand (and since it was a question, yes you can get Agatha from Arishem, but she doesn't start on your hand...
I think arishem will be a totally fun card, and next months cards really mesh with it I think running gwen pool and kate bishop one for solid points and other for card generation
I think Arishem is going to be a lot of fun for sure, but I'm not sure if it's going to be a meta deck. The key item about Arishem decks is randomness, which isn't really good when climbing. There will definitely be situations where Arishem wins you the game, but overall, the deck probably won't win a lot when you play a high volume of games. However, there might be cards that can combo with Arishem and make the deck competitive.
I think that Arishem will be a good card, but I haven't gotten it yet. I opened a Spotlight Cashe, but got Beta Ray Bill. I'm going to try and get Arishem with another Spotlight Cashe because I don't have enough tokens to buy him.
I think Arishem will be a fun new ramp card that will be better in conquest. Probably too rng to be consistent on ladder but tons of fun. I'm getting it
Arishem feels refreshing tbh, its randomness adds a lot of unpredictability in many decks. Gimmicks considering a turn earlier advantage with cards like eg. shehulk, sera, loki seem to be actually good. I think its a very good card to own at the current game state especially for new but also old players.
I just won a game for 8 cubes with 3 blobs played (each between 16-23 power): 1× mine, 1× quinjet discounted arishems, and third from mystique who copies his on reveal too. I am impressed.
As you said I think arishem will be pretty bad this week but good once this week is done, people move on to other stuff and people have had some time to figure out what works best with him. I need Hercules (need to finish that hipp move album!) so I’ll be opening some spotlights but if I get Hercules early and before arishem I’ll probably wait to see how people feel about him before opening more.
I don't think you can say that Arishem is a bad or a good card. I think it's a gimmick like Agatha. You can get lucky with the random cards or you just retreat and try again. That said, I just pulled him from the first cache and can't wait to try out all the decks from that massive list. Thank you as always for doing the Snap lord's work 😆
I love the idea of having a new archetype, but I can't even have the cards I need on tempo with a 12 cards deck (hello Mr Negative, Surfer, Wong-Gambit, where are you guys when I need you?), so I'm pretty sure I'll have hot garbage with a double sized deck. It sounds like a fun meme deck though.
I have to say that I was wrong. Arishem is sooo much fun! Love the introductory animation as well. Sure there's a lot of RNG, but the +1 energy is HUGE! Thanks for all the decks!
I think Arishem will be a fun card for anyone waiting for draft mode because of the random m 12 cards and +1 energy, but will be at best ok in competitive for the same reason as stated above
its really hard to tell how good Arishem will be, but it seems really really fun to play, and a dont have Hercules or Black Swan, so im going to open if I get Arishem in order to get Hercules it wont be a total waste of keys
I think Arishem is a luxury card for people who already have a CL that's really too high. It feels like a good alternative for like a random deck selection and knowing and being familiar with all the cards in the game is gonna make this card the most effective. This feels like suped up loki and that to me seems like a high ceiling low floor kind of situation
Thank you so much for the shout out. I've not played that exact deck yet but my first impressions of him are amazing. M'BAKU LIVES!!!!
Always room for M'Baku!
you're the goat man. love how much you put other creators on and how consistent you are with uploads. i think 90% of decks i play i got from you, keep it up legend
Awesome thank you!
I think Arishem will be similar to Agatha where you can build a deck around her and sometimes crazy things can happen and you’ll win, but more times than not you won’t have rng on your side and you lose. Excited to try it out though!
you’re the best. Love! Darkhawk will be use more often during the arishem week

Arishem was so friggin cool in A-X-E Judgment Day, petitioning here for Arishem to become the new mascot of Snap Judgments
Arishem seems to have a good mitigation between adding 12 random cards and giving us +1 Energy; for sure great surprise factor for both the player and its opponent.

Arishem is worth getting I think - rly good concept i like that RNG - git him in the 1st cache
Thanks for the decks! Haven't got Arishem yet but in the games I've played against him he's been annoyingly good, so might have to stump up the keys!
I think Arishem will be better than Agatha, by himself - and a MUST INCLUDE for the top meta of Agatha decks!

there's a long time that SD havn't release a core card for a new type of deck
and arishem is that card
Arishem is really good in Conquest mode!

Chapters!! Thank you!! ❤
I'm quite psyched for Arishem. I don't think it's going to be great necessarily, but it will be fun. Thanks for a bunch of decks to try it with!
I'm late as hell so I had a bit of time to try out arishem but only on conquest he's definitely fun as hell and I think he'll be at the very least decent
I'll love how you suggest waiting till Friday like I have that kind of self control 🤣
Arishem is going to be fun. I plan to open this week!
Can you pls ask SD internally if the splits with Arishem is a bug or not? Currently he is not getting the same border with the random cards and as a fan of splits this sucks :P
theyre on vacation or i would.
@@snapjudgmentspod oh ok :(
Easy hour 1 open!
Has it been confirmed if you draw your own cards before his effect starts or will the randoms be mixed in prior ? That would make a HUGE difference .
Prior
I'm a new f2p player so arishem brings an extra fun factor to the game and allows me to play with cards I will not have for a long time. I will probably lose but I'll have fun doing it
Arishem it's worth opening its fun like u mention very hyped card since high evolutionary I think if ppl open this they won't have buyers remorse ❤
bonus energy from turn 1 sounds stupid powerful, the randomness makes it tricky but should still be fun!
Arishem brought me back to the game 🙌🙌
Ari Shem is going to be fun, but not really my personal style. Can’t wait to see what folks cook up! If it’s truly fun, I’ll use keys bc I also need Hercules who is getting better.
I think Arishem isn't going to be good, but will be a lot of fun for folks looking to mix it up. I like your comparison to Evo with him, but ultimately I think Evo is better.
Arishem is going to be so much fun! when you get burnt out from playing snap, just have fun with arishem!
It's evil to show a good Darkhawk deck in Arishem's video. 😆
The card and the concept seem incredible to me but sadly my prediction is that Arishem will just be another card in Loki's deck.
I think Arishem will be very fun and minorly competitive which is enough for me to open for him, definitely. Excited for a new archetype, always!
i think arishem is gonna be reasonably good i think. good players will win with it for sure; some will not like the randomness like with lockjaw..
not really worth opening except one enjoys new cards..
Arishem feels like a real fun card to play. The "chaos" archetype seems like it'll be interesting to play.
Arishem looks very fun and I hope people are encouraged to try it and play more for fun than to compete.
I think Arishem will be similar to high evo, not absurdly powerful but with followers who like to play the deck and are in for a fun ride every match
Also, loving having chapters! Hopefully it isn't too much extra work.
Excited, but extremely skeptical that the (assumed) prevalence of Darkhawk won't just absolutely make this card a liability
Good to see Warlock showing up in at least one of the lists (putting in the wok for me)
I think Arishem will be a fun new ramp card that will be better in conquest.
Thank you as always for doing the Snap lord's work 😆
Think the Arishem, High Evo is a good comparison, will be fun and have decks that can be used but not particularly always meta
Arishem is going to be just for fun and been waiting for a fun card.
Arishem should be fun, don’t think it’ll be meta. I will def be opening for it since it’s such a unique card and opens up a new play style.
Card looks really good in Loki shell.
Arishem in our local language means "anger".
What language??
@@snapjudgmentspod You may not know, Malayalam- local language of Kerala, India
Sersi, Blink, Mockingbird and alot of tech in my Arishem deck.
i think arishem will be just for fun. there's too much rng for it to be meta imo, but hey, it could surprise everyone
