its a con-create resurface material its at home depot carries it if not ask store may offer it at another location, the company I know is called Quick-create. in the cement isle.
he makes it look easy and is if you have done it before watch the video many times so you see the way he does the passes with the tool. you only get one or two passes on area, so keep it moving and just go slow but the trick is how he works the float, its very important to do it that way and with the same style he is moving it. as you can see he is already standing on it , that's because there's fine sand in that bag which makes all the grains pack tight and water gets pushed out so it seems to be hard but its not just every packs tight but dont drive on it, it still need to cure as it is set. already,
so its called floor resurfacer by quickcreate at the Depot please read directions carefully,

Amazing they way this guy manages the amount poured out from the bucket. Good technique I'd say.

This seems to go down like Latex·ite for asphalt driveways.... How does this stand up to cars? My garage is 90' from when I pull in from the street.. will the resurfacer withstand the constant turns of the tires?

Did he just use concrete resurfacer on asphalt? (it is called a "concrete resurfacer" according to the video title. Why not use asphalt resulfacer on asphalt?) Asphalt behaves different from concrete, concrete is solid whereas asphalt is softer as gives in hot weather, I do believe that stuff will crack and peel once asphalt goes trough temperature variations, especially on a thinner residential driveway which may not be as well compacted or as thick as a commercial parking lot. I'd be interested to see what happened to that over time.

Uh yep, he put a concrete product over asphalt. He should have used a product for asphalt that has more flexibility so it won't crack later. He also never said what product it was, probably Quick-crete?, and it looks pretty thin. Also looks like he was putting on a second coat. Poor video. Nothing explained. Also he's a bit sloppy putting it down. He also never finished to the edge which looked sloppy as well. Also no info about color.

he is using a squeegee type its for construction a piece of rubber is all
that product is modified so a thin coat properly prepped will not crack or peel.
last comment said he painted a concrete floor worst thing you can do paint it not meant to walk on home improvements stores sell a stain paint its ok but not really what
most folks want as a lot of those products sold to us are inferior, they try to sell do it your self crap and that is what it is, use the real stuff like in this video. Im sick and tried of seeing those company's selling us half ass products are will fail soon maybe a year or so but if we knew what the failure rate was on most products there we would be better off going to like harbor freight. sorry to rant but please use the proper products and not knock offs generic crap.
ps yes you have to strip that paint as its coming up, then you might need a bonder first like primer...
