These are more realization because they get taller and look more a like the final evolution and it makes more sense than like a char melon evolving into a charizard
With the extra evolutions it's not like they are evolving, but more like they are growing up. I'd play a game like that, no evolving, just aging. I guess the first Monster Rancher did that, and I played the heck out of that game, so case in point. Honestly that was a fun part of it, watching your monster grow and change over the years. In the next games all they did was get bigger, they dropped the physical changes and it was less fun.

Galarian zigzagoon evo entry :its fur starts to get a bit smoother as it starts running at 10mph a minute they are most loved in spikemuth and love to rock Linoone evo pokedex entry: It starts to grow legs and can now hold a guitar so it mostly plays music with piers at spikemuth
Galarian Mr. Mime evolution: Mime jr: Yay everything! 2nd evolution: It’s cool 😎. Mr. mime: I am adult now! What am going to do with my life?! 4th evolution: I’m established and happy. Mr. Rime: OMG! Where did my life go?!
