Harshita Sharma nah, I used to say the same thing about people criticizing her for her accent because I genuinely thought she naturally had that American accent. I used to get defensive when people called her accent fake! But then I came across one of her recent Media press interview in India and her accent completely changed! she started pronouncing all her "T"'s with a stronger accent and it went back to a North Indian influenced accent...So that's when i realized that she puts on her American accent when she does Hollywood interviews

As someone who speaks three languages, two of them fluently. I understand the accent problem. I actually had friends from India that had been raised here since they were teenagers. They spoke to their parents in their native tongue, they spoke to each other with an Indian accent, and the spoke to everyone else with no accent. I thought it was rather strange that they would speak to each other in accent form but they said it was easier for them. I speak in Spanish-English with my siblings so maybe it’s the same.
