Finding one is probably very hard, getting one would be rather easy as long as you are ordering custom and not fitted

Just ask the person doing your alterations. Pockets are super easy to add to dresses. Hell, you can even buy pre-made pockets.
I get the wedding dress with pockets thing. Do you have any idea how hard it is for a girl to find ANYTHING, even a pair of jeans, with pockets? The ones I have are purely decorative and completely useless.
As an autistic woman, my brutal honesty is a curse, not a blessing. I tend to answer rhetorical questions. THAT is how much of a curse it is.

Honestly, (and this goes for all the Cheerleaders) if your fellow cheerleader misses her cue on purpose and drops you flat on your ass (literally) tell your coach. I know, I know "snitches gets stitches" but this is one of those moments that it's really necessary.
In eighth grade, I was the "smartest" of all the eight graders, meaning I had the best grades that year, and on graduation, I was the third "smartest".
I like to brag about those times because it was hard work for me.
I used to get bullied in school, so bad, in fact, that I tried to kill myself multiple times. I had only falling grades and not only had to repeat the sixth year but also had to change schools to a "worse" one (left the gymnasium, went to realschule).
I fought real hard with mental health and school and needed a lot of help, but I managed to become the best in my class and I will never not be proud of it.
It showed me that I am smarter than I thought and capable of bigger things than I expected.
I am better than those bullies wanted me to think I am.
Hard work pays off. Congrats man.
I have two.
The first one about overhearing people talk about you. My dad, stepmom, stepsister and I all planned to go on vacation to Florida together several years ago. The trip had been planned for about a year. One night my dad calls me to finalize and ask if I wanted them to buy my plane ticket at a group discount and pay them back later. I informed my dad that I couldn't afford to go due to just missing a bunch of work without pay for being sick and not having enough vacation time. I could tell he was disappointed and I felt bad but there was nothing either of us could. We finished the call and hung up only to have him call back. He had butt dialed me without knowing. This happened three more times and on the fourth and final time, I listened thinking maybe he was actually trying to talk to me. Instead, I overheard him ranting to my stepmom about how lazy I was and how I could never hold a job because I'd quit just before getting fired for putting in minimum effort, and how even my younger brother (whom had never had a full time job at the time and just goofed off in college with his friends) was harder working when he wanted to be than I was. I wasn't so much hurt as I was frustrated, not angry either though. I talked to some family members and a friend about it and they all encouraged me to call dad back and talk it out. I've always been on very good terms with my dad and we're generally very open and real and honest with each other. So I waited a few hours to make sure my emotions were in check and let him know what happened and what I overheard and how unfair and unfounded his claims about me were. I reminded him how much I've done for the family, how young I was when I started working to support the family and that he's never actually worked with me on a job and has no idea what my professional work ethic looks like. He apologized and admitted he was wrong and since then, he has been more understanding of my frustrations with work life.
The second about managers. I was not the manager but the customer. I was at a GameStop and inquiring about a hot ticket item I desperately wanted. The item always sold out as soon as preorders went live and finding one was impossible without paying gouged up prices online. I asked this associate on the floor if I could preorder and she said unfortunately, preorders were not available for that item (which was false). I asked if I could put down a deposit on one. She got coy and hinted I could give her some money for sure. When I asked if she meant giving her money to go towards reserving me a copy of the item she said "Or just give me money to put towards my grocery bill!" I laughed and said nah, but she wasn't kidding and persisted. When I was checking out with the item I did buy, I asked the cashier (a separate employee) if there was a manager present I could speak to real quick as I wanted to report the young lady employee who essentially tried to rob me. The cashier pointed to the woman who tried taking my money to buy her own shit, she was the manager. I did not set foot in another GameStop for literally YEARS after that. Too many bad experiences from shitty employees.

One way to help with smelling gasses, if you get a whiff of something, don’t stand there and keep smelling it, if it’s certain gasses, too much in your system will eventually kill you, get out as soon as you can.
My grow up moment was when i, as an 11 y/o, minorly bumped my head on the underside of a table, any pain was mainly from shock and faded as soon as i realized what happened. I was the absolute only person in a room full of 16 or 17 kids who was younger than 14. These kids i lived with 24/7 for 7 months straight. And i sobbed like a literal baby over a minor bump. They all politely ignored it, but the shame was there and kicking my butt. I quickly learned that my first instinct to pain should not be an overblown sobbing fit.
The only downside was that like 3 years later i was quite literally thrown 7 feet in the air (started on the 4 ft side of an inflatable obstical course- that was basically a bouncy castle mosh pit for kids- and stood on a 1.5 ft wide inflatable wall and everyone, which mainly consised of like 10 middle schoolers and 3 highschoolers who were built like bricks, jumped at the same time) and landed straight on my tailbone. A nearby adult was rightfully concerned abt the 14 yo girl who was now laying on the floor, not moving, and asked if i was ok, which prompted me to start laughing, as if i had landed in a pile of leaves instead of on a hard gym floor, get up, give him a thumbs up, limp a couple of steps before the pain faded for the most part, and immediately get back on the obstacle course. Somehow i was surprised that the adult had to file an incident report because i was fine, i just kinda freaked him out.
So i was humiliated into having my first response to pain be rather merry laughter, like this was a joke and not potentially broken bones
46:39 story I can relate hard to. I worked for an oil changing shop as a tech and I was also a state inspector. I would get so many remarks like “are you sure you know what you’re doing?” to “I want an actual tech/inspector to look over my vehicle”. It was annoying, but I had crew members and my managers would always back me. One guy in particular that really set me off, was an old grumpy man that came in for an oil change. Another crew member went to speak with him first, but was being talked down by the guy.(I don’t remember what he told him unfortunately) so then I got thrown in to speak and service write his oil change. This grumpy old fart went full gear to being an a$$hat and rude towards me. Part of the service writing part is getting the customers info, like name, number, vehicle info, etc. He refused to just give me his name and it’s company policy to ask for it, I was calm for the most part, although started raising my voice just because I aaa getting annoyed. He kept telling me “I don’t have to give you f-ing name or info! Stop f-ing asking! I want to speak to a MAN tech!” I got very heated that I walked away and told my manager he needs to deal with him. After they serviced him my crew mates later told me he was trash talking my other crew member and I. Saying he “doesn’t trust a woman to touch his vehicle” I again don’t know what he said about my crew mate, because I was solely focused on the crap comment he was saying about myself. I have many other stories about that time I worked there, but that one struck me the hardest.
He also came back months later for another oil change and didn’t realize I worked on his car until after it was done. The smug grin I gave him when he realized it was me lmao
TL;DR: A man came in complaining he got the wrong hose for his new fridge. Doubted me, a woman, after I gave him the right one. And then said man had to figure out the hard way that he was plain stupid because he bought a dishwasher hose in the first place.
Had a similar experience when I worked at a home improvement store. A middle-aged man came in to replace a refrigerator hose because the opening for the one he bought the day before was too big to connect to his new fridge. I was confused because we have ones that fit universally, but gave him the benefit of the doubt and figured he probably got a "special" one (I was still kind of new to appliances). After spending a few minutes figuring out what fridge he bought exactly, I found that it was one we had in-store at the time and got more confused that the one he bought didn't fit. I didn't question it, though. I just walked him over to where we keep our refrigerator hoses and gave him one, told him to have a nice day, then went back to the appliance desk. He finds me again sometime later to bug me about the hose and I told him that the one I gave him will work just fine. I sh!t you not, this guy said, "I just want to make sure you gave me the right one because I don't want to come back if you can't do your job."
I instantly got annoyed and finally asked to see the hose he came back with (a fault on my part for not asking that in the first place). Right there, on the front, printed in big, bold letters was the word "DISHWASHER". I practically threw the hose back into his cart and told him in a less-than-nice tone that the hose I gave him will *definitely* work because it's for refrigerators ONLY and not dishwashers.

D & D was my jam 1990 to 2004. My now husband had a large friend group in college. 9-10 people were interested in a long game. We met twice a week for 4-5 hours.
My friend & I either made a big dinner or picked up some cheap pizza. We had wine coolers or Boones Farm, Zima & bud light. It went for 6 months.
The whole game finally finshed. It was just before we scattered for new jobs, schools & moving out of state.
It exists in a bubble of those good old times in my brain. Amongst the good, bad & other. It was 1994. I miss it sometimes. ❤

Pockets on any women's clothing is a brag, and we WILL tell every person we run into, to share the amazing news of pockets my leggings that I've had for 2 years now have pockets. I tell everyone. I mean everyone, especially the girls. I even do everything i can to remember where i got them and cost. Pockets are national news to us ladies.
The story about people bragging about little sleep hits hard. I am a diagnosed insomniac and i usually struggle to sleep, my friends/ bf ALWAYS compare and try make me feel like i should be lucky for getting 2 hours a night. It sucks.

4:17 I relate so much to this one, I suffer from insomnia too (although I have it pretty much under control, I take one melatonin candy every night, sometimes I need to take two but at the end I am able to sleep 6 hours and a half at least - most of the times -), when I go to school sometimes I complain about the fact that I slept less than the other times, like "aw man... tonight I studied 'till late and my first melatonin candy had no effect at all, so I needed to take another one, now I'm so freaking sleepy." And one of the two boys I share the desk with will be like "pshhh noob, tonight I only slept three hours" in a bragging tone... like... bro... why the heck are you so proud that your sleep schedule sucks?!
34:58 It didn't COMPLETELY make me grow up but here's my "I need to grow up" moment: I was 7/8. My brother was being a total dumbbutt and was causing A LOT of trouble to my parents my brother was like 15/16 at the time. He started skipping school, he disappeared for days without saying something. He made my parents extra anxious; at that point I understood it: my brother was causing a lot of problems and causing my parents stress, my mom the most. I wanted to do something, so I decided that I needed to start maturing; if my brother was causing so much problems, I must balance it by being as less problematic as possible. My mom now brags about how I'm mature, she never needs to tell me to do my homework while with my siblings she always often to, and stuff like that, while I am always there, knowing that my younger self is proud of succeeding while my present self is sad that I couldn't enjoy my childhood so much. Sometimes (even if rarely) I let myself be a bit more childish, I feel like I deserve it.
I don’t care how fit somebody is, if your urge for life preservation is strong enough you’ll push yourself to run faster.
Now I have a story that goes with Story 5. My grandma couldn't smell anything. She had been losing her sense of smell since she was in her mid 40's. By the time she was in her late 60's she couldn't smell anything. She also had a gas stove. So there were a few times that when she was reaching for something that involved reaching over the stove, she accidentally pushed in the knob just far enough to release the gas, but not far enough to trigger the ignition. So gas would be escaping and she had no idea. Luckily she always managed to notice a bit later when she went into the kitchen and see the knob turned. But learning that was scary. And because she couldn't smell anything, it easily could have went very wrong.
The one with bragging about being smart in highschool, I agree a lot. I had really good grades in highschool technically I was in the 10% with the highest grades at my school of over a thousand students. Although when I went to college in a stem field that's when I met people who were really smart, it's amazing how smart some people are.
People that brag about being an A-Hole to a cashier just because they want to hold up the line because they know someone else in the line is in a rush.
Bonus points if they really have to force the “brag” into the conversation and are shocked that when you don’t respond positively to the 5th time they’ve retold that story to you in the past week.
In regards to people bragging about smarts. One of my favorite sayings is "You never want to be the smartest person in a room. if you are, you won't learn anything." You never stop learning. Learning helps us change perspective and look at situations from different angles, make better decisions and even help us with different tasks.
My sister was class valedictorian, first chair clarinet, first singles tennis, NHS officer, class officer, 35 on her ACT, and she had a very high score on her SAT as a 7th grader (Midwest Talent Search), NMS?, just on and on, and these were just a few of her accomplishments in her early years. So, I have always considered myself to be less than, especially given my extreme social awkwardness due to undiagnosed ADHD (age 25 with confirmation in the past two weeks) and ASD (probable, being referred for testing. I was a run of the mill gifted student with natural athletic abilities.
I'm not even that now, and I haven't been since age 25 athletically and cognitively I was obliterated by a 2nd significant TBI in 2010. That means there was a first and over 20 mild TBIs, encephalitis, meningitis, and encephalopathy. Oh, turns out I have EDS, too. Diagnosed at 48, second opinion confirmation at 49, and going on for further evaluation to make certain that I don't have classical or vascular EDS.
Today, I miss my dad. I will say it, I'm depressed. 3 close friends died, best friend is moving away. My heart monitor showed...some things. Tomorrow I have a chemical stress test. My hip isn't doing well after a recent dislocation that didn't play nice. The warrant is out for the arrest of my home invader. I would love to know WHY they went with that. The AH went over a 50-52 inch high security railing and forced open my locked sliding door. I was on the phone when it happened. The police saw him in there. The officer said that they would come back to ge

Sorry: TL;DR It hit me today that my very hard life won't be getting any easier. The idea of 20+ more years of this is unbearable. Knowing that I will never find love and will spend the rest of my life alone is probably the worst part. Knowing that I have never been loved or will ever be loved by another 😢

First of all, I am sorry you had to go through all of that. Second, I know I cannot relate to your experiences as I am just a young adult. But I don’t think that you aren’t or can’t be loved. This may sound naive, but I find that love is actually all around. It doesn’t always have to be romantical love, it doesn’t always have to come from others. It can begin with self love as well. And you seem like such a well-spoken and genuine person. Give yourself more credit for your accomplishments, you deserve it. And love is also attracted to oneself by spreading it and exuding it. I wish you all the best things :)

Story 2 with the dishes situation is so relatable. Had this roommate that was as bad or worse that the ones op describs, like kiteral chunks of food in amongst the dishes and spilling out over the counter. I cant leave my own dishes nore that 24 hours either, same with the hand washing. I wash dry and put away my dishes each day, often multiple times a day.
About the one story about the customer wanting to talk to a male. I work at Walmart. It's surprisingly not just the male customers. I have had a ton of female ones do the same

I have house- and flat-shared in numerous places and people are disgusting but my way around it was to clean it all up and i mean ALL of it. Not only wash everyone elses dishes and put them away, i would clean all the work surfaces, tiles, splash backs, descale the kettle (forgot to tell the housemate who was in at the time and nearly poisoned him 😂), wash all the fronts of the cupboard doors, clean the fridge inside and out, emptry the bin that no-one ever emptied, clean the bin in the bath with bleach, vacuum and mop the floor twice, once with bleach and again with some nice citrus cleaner and NO-ONE ever mentioned it. I did it about once a fortnight, there were 5 of us and i lived there for 2.5 years. I mean, at least it was clean for me but the resentment really built up!
The biggest things I've seen only losers brag about in my experience:
-How cool they are/were in high school
-How they "almost joined the Marines"
-How they got a "great deal" at a fast food place (they most likely berated some poor schmuck making minimum wage until they buckled)
-How much money they dumped into crypto

The most hurtful thing I've overheard about myself was that I'm self obsorbed and crazy. I have ocd (which I know makes this but it's something I've been dealing with all my life and I get scared myself from myself) so I get super intrusive thoughts which has ended numerous relationships and friendships. I'm with my now fiance, have a son, still struggling with other things I've been dealing with in life, but in all happy and don't feel the way I did in any other relationship or household I've ever been in.
I will say this again! Gratitude looks like bragging/pride to those that do not care or know about you. All theses people could have been grateful and wanting to share.

Perhaps it was the difference in cultural background, but I can assure you that I've learned something important from this exchange: when a person has to go after your ethnicity, your genetics.. The innate, immutable attributes to try dehumanizing you, really consider if they are worth keeping around.

If you find someone brags about what they did in the military, 9/10 times they're embellishing or straight out lying about what they did. The more badass the service member, the more humble they are. So that guy that's bragging about how he was the top of his navy seal class? He probably was to incompetent to do his own job and spent most of his time doing the most menial tasks possible so they could just get him out of the way.

The not taking a day off thing isn't because I think it's some superior work ethic thing, it's because I literally can't afford to, the cost of living is so high and wages remain stagnant. It's almost impossible to build your way out of poverty without some kind of help and I'm not being given any help. Being able to take time off is a privilege not everyone can afford.

I never had an "I need to grow up" moment, but I did have an "I'm too old for this" moment. I was 10 or 11 at the time and I was in this place that had indoor bouncy castles. As I was bouncing on one of them, it dawned on me, everyone else who was bouncing was way younger than me. The were all 5 or under. So I grew embarrassed and sad as I realized that I was probably too old to bounce on bouncy castles anymore. I haven't bounced on a bouncy castle since.
I use to do this a lot. But any bragging about any sort of trauma trying to be worse than the other. Or like how many hours they got on the last pay period.
Amendment to the bath and body works story where an item was out of stock on Christmas Eve, if you go out shopping on any day, you need to just accept the chance that things are sometimes going to be sold out. If you are calm and reasonable, the employees may be able to help you find it at another store or on their website. If it is sold out everywhere, they may help you find something else you might like. Worst case scenario and you go home without buying anything, you go home having saved all the money you would have spent to put towards something else you may want.
Is your comment about the woman who made a rant video on TH-cam about how she’s boycotting bath and body works in 2012 because they didn’t have the type of candles she wanted or something like that? Your comment reminds me of that video.
@@christie2271 my comment was just that sometimes stores run out of stuff and if you ask employees nicely, they might be willing and able to help, and even if they aren't, it's not the end of the world.
21:45 I have an opposite story, There was a park that my friends used to play in was in a shady neighbourhood and there was this one thug that watches them every time they played. One day one of my friend grew some balls and went and asked the man who`ve been looking at them, why he was watching them? he pointed at the store next to the playground and around 4 other people watching them play. and was only safe because he was there, the guy was apparently a retired cop. that 4 people were well known to be part of a human trafficking gang and was scouting the playground but they have no evidence to put them to jail so when he`s there that 4 people can`t make any move, because one peep from the retired cop their entire organization would go down. not because he had power over them but because he knew where their base are and one peep on him would be devastating for their organization.
Wait, so supposedly a retired cop knew without a doubt 4 creeps were watching kids waiting for a shot to just snatch a kid for trafficking, cop knew who they were, where they based from, could bring them down with one word and he instead just chose to watch the creeps watching the kids and ..*checks notes*....warned NO ONE until a kid finally confronted him?

(in our country the more money you have the more power you can control) where cops, mayors even governors can be bribed the park my friends played in was in a nicer neighborhood where the rich kids play and where rich people lives. which used to be a prime target for kidnap for ransom. the cops are well aware, the superintendent is well aware and the people are well aware who they are. people are just too scared to say anything because bribing and shit. but people a outside that town only think those are rumours to not let poor kids play on that park. my friends lives in the urban side of the town where theres more farms than houses. its not that the retiree didn`t tell anyone but the people who lives there know and if their kids.
I know you would ask why does the retiree watch them play then? 1 reason he is being paid to do so because the families are paranoid that their kids would one day be ransomed again and they want to get rid of them. and the cop being there would be their leverage, but they also just can`t make evidence because if they did the organization can argue that they did nothing but if the cop witnesses anything and with his reputation and with the rich people money as support to the local cops they could get rid of the organization altogether. just because you haven`t experience things kids in a criminally driven society have experience doesnt automatically make it an r/Thathappened

Heard a friend bragging about her new boyfriend to other friends, talking about the things that he said, his career as a high profile surgeon and their plans to move in together. Just days before she had sent what looked like posed publicity shots of a group of people in scrubs asking my opinion of the great guy she’d been talking to for less than a week online. A week later she had met someone else online and planning a new life with him as soon as he moved to our country. Then there was the high profile Colonel, sent a photo to prove he was real, head was badly photoshopped onto another body. She was moving to America to be with this guy.
If I heard a therapist or dr speaking loud enough so I can hear about myself or other patients, I’d leave and report that place.

Generally speaking, if you feel the need to constantly boost about how many people you slept with or who you're currently having sex with, then there's a good chance you are insecure in one form or another.
I wouldn't necessarily say it makes them a loser, but one subject that is really tiresome: gender identity or sexual orientation.
I'm gay myself and it's not the most important or interesting thing about me. It's not my whole personality. It took me years to become secure in who I am as a gay man and find my place in this world. Being able to be comfortable in my own skin (now in my 40s) is one of the most exhilarating things I've accomplished.
On the other side of that coin, if all someone has is who they sleep with, how they dress, how they present themselves to the world or anything in between, it just screams definitely boring and beyond pathetic.
On a final note, back when I was in high school, which is close to 30 years ago, it was considered to be quite rude to label people and point out their differences. Now the community that claims to be so welcoming and urges others to be true to yourself, love yourself, be who you are and all of those positive virtues, is doing everything it can to stand out and make their differences so glaringly obvious. How is that inclusionary? It's not. It's the antithesis to the word community and is borderline hypocritical.

I was on the opposite of this. I needed to learn how to tell my friends that I didn’t like jokes being made at my expense. This one friend of mine, S, had a very smart mouth and, come to think of it, she and I were really only friends because we knew the same people, not because we got along. One day in winter, it was warm enough for me to make myself look cute without bundling up too much. I love fashion, so expressing myself via clothing is a really important part of me as a person. I put a lot of effort into the day’s outfit and my hair. At lunch, the topic of clothing came up, and S semi-jokingly told me, “To be honest, you look like a basic bitch,” and then another friend kind of piggybacked and said that the boots I had on made me look like a horse girl. I tried to laugh it off, but I was genuinely fuming on the inside.
After lunch, most of us had the same class, myself and S included. I don’t know how it came up again, but the topic of clothing returned, and I remember trying to say that I didn’t feel comfortable having them talk about me like that, but I couldn’t finish my sentence because I started crying, something I rarely do in front of people. Thankfully, they got the message and I’m pretty positive none of us jokingly insult one another at all anymore, and honestly it’s better for all of us.
I work in a restaurant and a couple of coworkers go to the casino, or otherwise gamble, at least a couple times a month (that I'm aware of) and always seem to say they did so.
"Oh, did you win?" Someone asks.
One hardly ever, the other's at least modest. Sad part is, the non-modest one complains about financial troubles and tries to take other people's tables regularly. Both are in their 40s, and non-modest has a 10 year old.

theres nothing regarding race that makes you have more human worth, however, to deny basic biology is ignorant. Look at the rates of sayyy glaucoma in different races…how about heart disease….i believe asian ancestry has a gene that causes their face to flush when they drink alcohol, some races are more prone to certain diseases, and this make certain races inherently better or worse than others in regard to those specifics. This has no bearing on an individuals worth though-a human is a human, is a human.
Sometimes differences are better or worse, lets not act stupid. If you need to view someones troubles in life as equal to everyone elses just so you arent a judgmental dick about their basic human worth, maybe you should think about that for a lil. Theres a reason medical studies split population by race and other groups-everyone is not built the same, and there are patterns, and it helps to find the patterns so you can screen people earlier and catch things sooner, and many other reasons.

Story #1 under "I am the boss" reminded me of a thing that happened while I was working at a cafeteria in college at the dorms back in the day. A Kevin was berating a co-worker because he said the food there was nowhere near good enough for his daughter. Kevin then demanded to talk to a manager. Our manager, a middle-aged African American woman comes out to him. He shouts something along the lines of "Look lunch lady, I said I wanted to talk to the manager and NOW!!" Manager tries in vain to convince him that she is the manager. I decide to step in and tell him that yes, this woman in front of him was the manager. Kevin decides to give me a healthy sock to the jaw and causes me to fall backwards into a young woman who was with a football player type guy. He wasn't amused by this, naturally, and I apologized to them for this and told them to blame Kevin. Manager tells another worker to call campus police. Long story short, campus police drag Kevin off kicking and screaming that he still wanted to see the manager and he KNOWS they're hiding him. TL'DR: Kevin doesn't believe supervisor is supervisor at a dorm cafeteria, has to be dragged away by campus police.
The story at 1:00:00 kinda reminds me of a movie I saw a while ago at a Sundance film fest. It was titled “Pear Cider and Cogarettes”. That’s what it made me think of.

Please do not explore abandoned hospital buildings. Although it is rare, there have been cases where people have found orphaned sources of radiation from the machinery. In reference to Story 3, don't also brag about how it's so easy for you to fall asleep and how well you sleep. While I'm happy and gald you don't suffer like those of us with sleep disorders, bragging about it is saying I'm somehow less then because I've had insomnia since I was a baby, something I have no control over. Instead be like the narrator and say it more matter-of-factly. Because what one person sees as a positive attribute, can be seen as a negative to another. Just think about if, who would you rather have watching your back so you can sleep safely, the person that can fall asleep at the drop of a feather or the person that's stuck awake and alert*.
Also in reference to Story 5: Any woman (or person in general) that has pockets on/in thier wedding dress is a keeper in my book. What? Think about it, not only do they knows how to look physically gorgeous, beautiful, and sexy but also has enough foresight and/intelligence to make it practical also? Well that's just different but equally if not more Important kind of gorgeous, beautiful, and sexy.
Story 3: i can sleep almost anywhere, I used to sleep on the floor, couch, bed (obviously), vehicle, omg, i can even fall asleep in a school desk, whats wrong with me 🤣

I work in the auto glass industry and I am female. I repair windshields and recalibrate front facing cameras (think emergency braking or lane departure warning). I’ve been doing this for 2 year and I am considered a SPECIALIST.
Anyway, I can’t tell you how many older WOMEN demand someone else work on their car because they don’t think I’m competent enough simply because of my gender. It’s absolutely wild. It makes my p!ss boil that WOMEN won’t acknowledge a woman in the trades and treat them as a professional.
Being the smartest kid was my go-to brag in college until I got into upper level classes. Then reality smacked me in the face and I decided that I might be smart, but I'm not the smartest in the room and I could learn from everyone.

How many "bitches" they get. Yeah buddy, those notches on your belt are failures, not trophies. I don't look at my body count and see anything to be proud of. Those were relationships that could have gone places that I have it in my head that I failed. The vast majority of them cheated on me, but I didn't turn into some woman hating incel. I just kept working on myself. Learned how to cook, started taking care of myself, cleaned up a bit more, got a job, learned how to communicate my feelings and what I mean better, learned to be patient and understanding. I'm still me, I still make jokes and have fun, but I know how to treat people. Then I see people like them who just doubled down and go all Andrew Tait. What a waste of genetics.
So no, I don't get "bitches", no I got me a best friend, an amazing partner, an absolutely brilliant and wonderful woman who loves and believes in me. That's because I'm the kind of person who deserves this.
