Awesome !! love the color of blue
Yes, noxema2000, but you are biased. The Noxema jar is almost the same color!! 😉 Glad you enjoyed this video! Thank you!!
I love this car!!!!
Thanks, Stephen!! Glad to share the more unusual with you.
Beautiful sedan delivery 💙
Sedan deliveries have all but ignored, as well as worked to death, so seeing this is a real treat!!
I am looking at one of these, no where near what yours is! it is hot rodded a bit but it looks pretty nice I am waiting to hear from the owner. seeing yours made me want it more!@@carshowreporter
What a beauty
Thanks Lee!! It is nice to see a rare model of the iconic '57. Please check out my other videos of a little more unusual cars. You might engoy this group of wagons from the NSRA Nats: studio.th-cam.com/users/videoFQ1z310XgbQ/edit?o=U
Nice!!!!
Thanks Tim!!!
i like the front of the 1957 chevy truck, the vehicle in this video has a similar front which is like too. that is a very stylish front, very designed and charming. imagine chevrolet would make the 1957 truck or this vehicle again in that exact same look but with todays technology.
Trucks had gained style in the '50's and usually taking cues from the automotive lines... In the day, over 1,500,000 people agreed with you, Offenbarung! Today, they are still a cornerstone of many a car show. By the way, you can buy a retro rod, exactly what you propose!!
I love sedan deliveries! It's actually the only '57 Chevy I do love. Heresy! As for the seat covers, that pattern was on the cardboard (yes, cardboard) interior door panels of my Grandfather's 1958 Chevrolet Delray.
The Delray was a price leader ... nee very cheap, so corners were cut. Shhhhh. don't tell anybody, Tom, but, after seeing SO many tri-fives, I agree with you!!
@@carshowreporter This was in 1963 that I rode in that Delray, and in a couple of months he traded it for a new Chevy ll. He considered a car a necessary evil, and bought new strippers that he could write a check for and not worry about it!
Sounds like a teacher!! Manual transmission, no power assist, 4 door, radio, heater..period!!!
@@carshowreporter No, actually he was an accountant and insurance agent. He had to have an automatic transmission, because in 1951 a drunk driver hit him head-on and his left leg was badly mangled. He couldn't operate a clutch safely after that. But the rest of your description of his cars is spot-on. His last car was a 1968 Impala with AC! But that was his new wife's doing. Grandma Blanche had died quite suddenly, and less than 2 years later he married Grandma Lil!
Do you know where I can get in touch with the owner?
Way cool car. As they say in Canada, "Turn up the base." model!
🤗 Cute, Daniel! ...even though the sedan delivery is in blue... 😉
@@carshowreporter it is such a rare bird that I have to forgive the plumage!

We have a '58 Delray sedan delivery , one of 4003 built that year . There are three comments that we always hear when people see it ; " What is it ? " , " I've never seen one before ! " , " It's a hearse ! " . Sorry, it's four feet too short and missing two side doors in order to be a hearse . I've been tempted to letter the sides with " Pet Sematary " or " Mort's Mortuary " for Halloween fun .
I can not understand " what is it " and " it's a hearse " but fully understand " I've never seen one before "!!! The '58 is so distinctive and a sedan delivery adds to the distiction!! Love your idea with " Pet Cemetery" of " Mort's Mortuary"!!!!
@@carshowreporter it's really simple , most people under the age of 50 have never seen a sedan delivery before due to their low production numbers and the fact that Chevrolet stopped building them after 1960 . However , they have all seen the Ghostbusters movies or seen a hearse at a funeral home , and in their eyes any car that looks similar is a hearse to them .
Great observation, Bob!! Because of my decades I forget that many younger people, and there are a lot of people younger than me, were not around when these cars roamed the roads.
57 chevy is green 98% org 235 pb, ps pg, wish it run . just need hub cap far from pretty 8000.00 for it
Are you offering $8000 for the sedan delivery or just a hub cap?
