Still say the OG Idina and Kristin had set such a high bar that it takes a very strong voice to get close and every single woman here who followed in Kristin and Idina’s footsteps are absolutely AMAZING!!!
Eden Espinosa is still my absolute favorite Elphie. She captures her expressions perfectly and her tone is just exhilarating. Her No Good Deed still blows my mind.
Even after all these years, this song never ceases to give me goosebumps. All these women were fantastic. I don't remember which ones I saw the 3 times I went to see this at the Pantages in Hollywood. I think the first time mom took my sister and I in 2003, it was to see Idena, but her understudy was there instead. Mom was disappointed, but I was happy as a clam to see a new musical. I was in my early twenties. Thank you for this compilation. I love seeing all the women who've taken the helm of such an iconic character. Not everyone has the vocal chops to pull it off, so massive kudos to these women for being so unbelievably skilled. ❤️ I hope to see it again when it comes back to SoCal.
What an incredible tribute to 20 years of Wicked! ✨ Watching all these talented Elphabas belting out Defying Gravity gave me chills. Each actress brought her own unique flair to the role, yet they all captured the essence of the character flawlessly.💚
All incredible women. All their own! I had the pleasure of seeing Rachel, Jennifer, and Jackie on Broadway and they are all out of this world! Unbelievable actors and sang effortlessly.
I recently saw Wicked in Melbourne, with Zoe Coppinger as Elphaba, and it really hits different seeing and hearing this live. That last riff especially hits you in the bones, it was amazing.
It’s been a while since I last saw Wicked (saw it 3 times, twice on Broadway and once when the first tour came to my town, between 2005 and 2007) so it’s awesome to see all the lovely green ladies who have come along since then as well as my Elphies 🥹💚 Btw, my Elphies (and respective Glindas) were Shoshana Bean (opp. Megan Hilty for my first time 😍), Stephanie J. Block (opp. Kendra Kassebaum on tour), and Julia Murney (opp. Alli Mauzey in her standby days - I think I was lucky enough to see Alli’s first time ever going on in the role if I remember correctly and she was fabulous even then) 🥰💚✨
Nicole Parker and Julia Murney 4:39 demonstrate so much emotion in their small clips. I’ve never seen them, but I enjoyed their takes from here. All the women did phenomenal. This compilation got me emotional for some reason 💚🧹✨
Hannah!!! she is absolutely my favorite Elphaba all around. I love Jessica Vosk and Idina vocally too but Hannah is my hearts Elphaba…idk the way she portrays her has stuck with me since I saw the show for the first time in 2019. I got to meet her at the green show last week and she was absolutely the nicest to talk to 💚🫶🏻🖤
what a great video, after just coming back from the 20th performance tonight, thank you. It’s hard to gather all of these! [Teal in SF being the only “outtie” ;)] happy wicked day!
Was hoping for SJB on the, "So if you can't find me, look to the western sky...!" cause I just feel like she does that part better than anyone else... but vocally she's my all time fav, so I guess I'm biased. lol
I work in The Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, and they are preforming this in a few months.❤ Hopefully Elphabas' version in Tivoli will be a part of your montage 👏🤞
@user-tc7up8tx1x they don't, Alyssa is lead and MK is standing by for her. Where do you get the info about those dates? That usually happens when someone is alternate.

IKR! THEY SET SUCH A HIGH BAR!!!
Lindsay Mendez is massively underrated. The tiny clip did not do her justice. I love her voice and her acting choices.
Eden Espinosa is still my absolute favorite Elphie. She captures her expressions perfectly and her tone is just exhilarating. Her No Good Deed still blows my mind.

I don't know why this song always brings me to tears. All of them did great.
Kerry Ellis will always be my Elphaba. That growl in her voice makes me shiver every time I hear it. Shame it isn't caught in this video

Wow everyone was great. Beautiful voices across the board 🤍.

What an amazing group of ladies.

This a fabulous compilation! What amazing women they found to sing this very challenging score!🔥❤️
This is one of the best compilations of one of the greatest songs ever written on Broadway! Bravo! You should be so proud!👏👏👏👏
Thank you so much!!
@@OzdustBroom this really is one of the best musicals from the 2000’s men and women boys and girls love it.
Willemijn❤❤❤

Stan for Eden Espinoza! Saw her 5 times!!
OMG this is wonderful! Thank you for compiling!
Willemijn :-) I saw her 21 times in Oberhausen, Germany, as Elphaba and she ist the best (and the only who plays the role in 3 different languages.
Only 21? Haha. Cute.
Hannah!!! she is absolutely my favorite Elphaba all around. Idina and Kristin will always be my favorite, but Jessica Vosk and Eden Espinosa were truly great.
Willemijn is the perfect choice for the end. ❤
She is perfection!
Could have a bigger part. She is the best after Idina.
@@nataliepopp178 Eden too

Thank you for creating this it was fabulous
HAPPY 20TH WICKED
Happy #WICKED20!!
Espectacular.
you have to see the 2023 flight in Brazil, it's the most incredible thing I've ever seen in my life
This is flipping sweet!
Woah Ana Gasteyer can sing that well!
I’m trying to decide if a collection of Elphabas is an Elphabunch or Elphabet Soup.
Loved it as always ❤!
So sad this was done before Mary Kate Morrissey, the newest Elphaba. I just got to see her on Broadway and she was incredible
Nicole Parker was great, Saw her in Sacramento some years ago.
Jackie and Amanda will forever be my Elphaba and Glinda!
Stan for Sho Bean! She was the blueprint for getting people to still have an interest in Wicked after the headliners left.
Caroline was so epic! 👏
❤
Sheridan Adams, 2023 - 2024 Australia, 3rd production revival. Enough said.
There will only ever be 1 elphaba and that’s Mendez
I'm not 100% sure I'd even rank her "top 5" of t his group.
wheres mary kate 😢
She hasn't been lead on Broadway
@OzdustBroom she plays elphaba though? alyssa fox and mk both play her equally. alyssa fox is Tuesday - Thursday and mk is friday- sunday
@user-tc7up8tx1x they don't, Alyssa is lead and MK is standing by for her. Where do you get the info about those dates? That usually happens when someone is alternate.
Where did you get lindsay mendez???
On TH-cam a while back

I missed Alexia Khadime
