Honest question. Why won't you guys upload the full game? You uploaded the Eng-NZ semifinal soon after the tournament ended yet it is approaching two years and still no final. Is this another example of World Rugby disrespecting South Africa or English bitterness?
The happiest I’ve ever been about a World Cup winner and I’m an AB’s fan! Well done South Africa 🇿🇦 nothing but respect for the way you play! Classy words at the end too. Congrats.
The way the Captain of the South African team shake his hand and bow to the Japanese official as he accept his medal was such consideration for the Japanese culture. Much respect and congratulations on the world cup win.
Congrats to BOKKE🇿🇦from Japan,Tokyo! I support BOKKE today because players and supporters of BOKKE are amazing and deserve the win! Thank you for brilliant performance!
Hard to see my team well-beaten like that. The better team won today and it’s a testament to the passion the Boks played with. Congratulations South Africa from England 🤙🏻
Antonio De Castro I’m no boet, you are talking to a lady. And I’m not in denial about SA, I just choose to focus on all the good we have going on more than I do the bad. I am black and I can honestly say that I don’t know anybody in my immediate or extended family or my friends who has ever had a violent crime committed against them. Sure I hear a lot in the news, but I hear a lot in the news in America too everyday. Whatever stats you’re looking at, actually being in America and looking at stats is very different. Because I’ve seen both sides, I have noticed that black South Africans and white South Africans have different stories mostly when it comes to crime. White South Africans always talk about crime, and I think it’s because criminals target you more. But if we are being absolutely honest (since you brought up the idea of not being in denial), the fact that you’re targeted more is a consequence of apartheid and all the negative impacts it had on black people from their psyche to being physically segregated and not being afforded opportunities (there’s something about being treated like an animal that turns people violent, and that’s why you see that the countries where black people were enslaved like America and SA through apartheid, black people there are the most violent. It has trickled down through the generations. Black people in African countries that have been mostly conflict-free are very peaceful). You cannot expect to peacefully live in a country where 10% of people own 80% of everything and think you won’t be targeted. Part of moving forward is for white South Africans to acknowledge that. As long as you don’t acknowledge it, you will always complain about crime, always be building higher and higher walls and desperate people will just get higher and higher ladders to get in and forcefully take what they want. Secondly in America, depending on who you ask, it’s the same as SA. Black people here feel more targeted by the police for violence. Literally every other month there’s a crazy cop with a gun killing black people for no reason. Lots of people talk about living in fear because you don’t know when the next gunman will show up. Some people even avoid festivals altogether now because mass shooters love those. Statistics don’t mean anything because the people that do those stats are not really on the ground in every country living our reality everyday. I have lived in both SA and the US, and I frequent SA a lot even now and I can comfortably say that I always feel safer when I’m in SA. I feel more targeted as a black person when I’m in the US. Your experience is opposite, you feel very much targeted in SA, which is why crime is always a topic of discussion with you. That’s your truth. My truth about South Africa is completely different from yours.
Antonio De Castro like I said, your truth is your truth. My truth is mine. I don’t depend on the UN stats for my truth. I depend on my own experiences and from my experience, I am safer in SA than the US. I don’t know the black South Africans that you know but I can guarantee you that I know MORE black South Africans than you do and so I would say that puts me in a better position to talk about what black South Africans say about crime, what we talk about in our houses daily. And I can guarantee you that we don’t go on about crime like you do. The biggest crime black people complain about is gender based violence. The rest of these robbery type of crimes don’t affect us at the same rate that they affect you. They do affect our communities, but not nearly as much as they affect yours. That is why you never hear black people getting outraged on a national scale and demanding the government do something unless it’s another case of gender based violence. That’s because that’s what mainly affects the black community. You don’t hear black people uniting on a national scale and going to social media demanding change or protesting on the streets about other crimes like home/farm invasions, carjackings etc. That’s because even though it affects us, it doesn’t affect us anywhere near the level it affects you. Those criminals mostly target white communities. That means black communities are actually safer (not entirely safe), but safer because we are less targeted by such crimes. So if you’re lucky enough as a black woman to have non-abusive man around you, you can mostly live your life without being touched by violence. Unless you get targeted by a stranger, which is rare because most of these crimes are mostly committed by the women’s intimate partners. The stats by South Africans (not by UN) is that every 24 hours, 2 or 3 women are killed by an intimate partner. That means in a year, there are about 700-1,000 women who die this way. That’s really bad, but considering there’s about 30 million women in SA, there’s way more women who are safe than those who are in danger. But because it affects young black women on a regular basis, of course we are outraged and we want change because we sympathize and we see ourselves in those women. So we do wonder if we are next. Now the other problems that I mention affect white people more. And like I said, it’s a by-product of apartheid. Your ancestors committed massive crimes against my ancestors. That is a fact. Whatever injustices you feel like you’re enduring will never amount to the injustices suffered by my people at your ancestors’ hand. We are still dealing with the consequences of those actions today, but we are resilient and so we fight on. But to be honest with you, when we sit in our houses and have table talk, black people are very angry at the injustices we have suffered through the generations at white people’s hands. Even today we suffer those injustices. Like when those university boys made our mothers who work on their campuses drink urine a few years ago, or the footage of white policemen training their dogs by making them chase and bite black young men in the 90s. Those monsters are still alive and well. Such things outrage us. That’s why whenever a racist comes out of the woodwork, we want them named and shamed and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. You see, when black South Africans are truly affected by an issue, whether it’s demanding that universities reduce school fees like that Fees must fall movement, we mobilize and demand change and we refuse to be silent. If we are mostly quiet about it, it’s because it doesn’t affect us on a large scale. That is why you see young black South Africans voting to keep Malema relevant and in parliament. No denying he is a wild card but he touches on a lot of issues that hit a nerve with young black people who live in the shadow of what was done to their forefathers during apartheid and want to see some change in their lifetimes. Black people are angry, that is why even though you are human beings, it’s hard for us to sympathize with your plight. We don’t get involved when you go on about crimes that mostly affect you, we only mobilize when it comes to things that personally affect us, like gender based violence. That is a fact. Don’t ask a day laborer what black people think. Walk into a university campus and sit with young black people, go into their homes and share a meal with them on a regular basis, then you will begin to really know what we care about and what we don’t care to get involved in.
@@RSAkimmaps87 " I don’t depend on the UN stats for my truth. I depend on my own experiences and from my experience, I am safer in SA than the US. " The UN crime stats for each country are provided by the respective governments of those countries, so the stats that show that that SA has a 6 times higher murder rate than the US and 170 times higher murder rate than Japan are South African government stats. To repeat, according to UN/SA government stats black people suffer higher rates of murder and rape than their white compatriots. Clearly you a very privileged compared to most South Africans, but just because you seemingly went to university and have the extreme privilege of being able to work in the US, that doesn''t make you any better than the people that you refer to as "day labourers". What appalling elitism and arrogance! I prefer to rely on facts and not the feelings of someone who regards her views as more important than those of a "day labourer" and clearly rationalises violence against race groups other than their own. Based on your post, the difference between you and I is that I am concerned about all South African victims of violent crime and not just those who share my skin colour, level of education, gender or perceived social status. You have made it clear that you are only concerned with rape and murder of people who share your gender and race (a view shared by the architects of Apartheid you claim to despise), and don't care about the suffering of other race groups or black people that you perceive as inferior to you ( what you term " day labourers"). It may come as a surprise to you that I do not accept that merely because you are a black woman you are a spokesperson for all black South Africans. This part of your post speaks volumes about your, callous and elitist views: "Don’t ask a day labourer what black people think. Walk into a university campus and sit with young black people, go into their homes and share a meal with them on a regular basis, then you will begin to really know what we care about and what we don’t care to get involved in." What you care about, and what you don't care to get involved in, is made abundantly clear from your post. You care about about young black woman, who have had the privilege of going to university and are fortunate enough to work or study in the United States, something that the majority of South Africa's population (and in particular "day labourers") can only dream of. It may come as a shock to you, but your views, and those of other university students, are no more important than those of what you refer to as "day labourers". In fact I am far more interested in the views of my immensely decent, hard working black colleagues who pay the taxes that make university education possible. Its ironic that you look down on the "day labourers" that made it possible for you to go to university. By the way, my black colleagues include "day labourers", technicians, university graduates and political appointees, and I do regularly share meals with them, occasionally in their or my homes. Maybe you should try and do the same; it may open your eyes to the fact that people are people and you may even develop some compassion for people of a different race or class. "But to be honest with you, when we sit in our houses and have table talk, black people are very angry at the injustices we have suffered through the generations at white people’s hands." To be honest with you, I would, and do, trust my life to black people on a weekly basis, and I can assure you that the average hard working black South African is a kind, tough, generous individual, who does not hold any animosity towards me because of my skin. That kind of bigotry is a luxury that seemingly only young university students can afford. Just like I cant speak for all white people, you most certainly don't speak for all black people. I could care less for the anger of a young person that is angry with me purely because of my skin colour and what my ancestors did to there ancestors. Lastly, it is the ultimate euphemism to refer to Malema as a "wild card". A person who proudly proclaims that committing racial genocide (of any race) is a viable solution to the problems of this country, is not a "wild card" but a cowardly, delusional racist. I truly hope you one day learn to judge people by their character and not their skin colour, class or educational level.
It's so important to show Grace and be Gracious in Life. A lost commodity at times. South African Rugby I salute you. Well Done. From a Englishman. Love & Peace to my Brother's & Sister's ♥️
Congrats from NZ to South Africa on winning the world cup,! We were backing you all the way! Beautiful to watch! Welcome to the 3rd World Cup winners club... You totally earned it!!
As an American, we don't see a whole lot of rugby here and I haven't watched much in my life, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching the World Cup. I wish we could see it more here. Congratulations to South Africa!
Congratulations South Africa. Undoubtedly the best team on the day won by playing passionate, physical rugby and scoring two genuinely world class tries. We all know how much this means to the country, and it is inspiring to see how a sporting institution that once represented prejudice and the apartheid-era has evolved into a beacon of diversity, acceptance and unity. Of course, a few games of rugby will never solve all the problems in a country, but it is a symbol of progress and a testament to the power of sport. To England: hold your heads with pride. You played a fantastic world cup, and delivered the greatest performance ever produced by an English rugby team with your semi-final win against New Zealand. We all knew how close the tournament would be - and this was exemplified by the fact that neither Eng, SA, nor NZ could beat both other sides. Finally, I think every rugby fan from around the world can agree that the country of Japan was truly an incredible host. The Brave Blossoms delighted millions not only with the major scalps they took, but in the manner in which they took them: via flowing, expansive rugby. Further, despite the tragic destruction and loss of life caused by Typhoon Hagibis during the tournament, the people of Japan never failed to embrace the hundreds of thousands of World Cup tourists and provide a level of hospitality we rarely, if ever, see in the West. In my humble opinion, this was the greatest Rugby World Cup of all time. F***, I love rugby.
Mr Am(SA center- 13) what a special man you are to pass the ball(even tho you could have easily score the try yourself). You have my respect and shows what a special person you are. Thank you for the world class performance
Kat Grootboom he actually impressed the whole tournament!! Got his hands dirty, passed well and his defense was massive. Enjoyed watching what he did with ball and all his of the ball stuff.
I thought Pollard and Am were our back line players of the game. Am has been an absolute rock it defensive the whole tournament and his work rate is always top class. In the final he also showed his ability to break the line and his incredible vision and calmness on attack. He was also instrumental in setting up Kolbe for his try. Pure class!
Thank you Spring Boks , thank you for keeping the Cup in the Southern Hemisphere ! What an awesome win , congratulations !! As an AB`s supporter , even if the final was you and the AB`s , I`m very sure you guys would have beaten us , looking at this game . Just too much talent and speed , you guys certainly look like No. 1 at the moment , cheers my Bokke friends.

Good on South Africa, as a kiwi I respect South Africa, they sing with passion, play with passion and 100% deserve to win this game and tournament 👍🏽👍🏽
I say the same. My number 1 team, when not supporting all blacks lol. Proud of you guys, Southern Hemisphere forever! You have helped the whole of New Zealand be happy and also heal our pain.
@@richtamati9959 thanks guys, respect and kind words from Kiwis means more than any superficial media write-ups or sour English expressions - for us saffers, there's nothing more important than keeping the respect and rivalry with NZ alive, in all of the rugby calendar
I think we've always had a ton of respect for South African Rugby and many youngsters forget that SA actually had the better head to head record before the professional era. Plus we are grateful for the Ex pats who play for the Black Caps in cricket, very handy indeed.
@@Jan-rr5hh it's a win for South Africa nothing to do with the Southern Hemisphere, if France for example won the cup you wouldn't get Ireland fans say a win for the Northern Hemisphere. Why cant we let South Africa enjoy their win.

From an Englishman, well played South Africa, you were the better side today, and your team deserves this! Gotta say well done to our boys as well, they’ve done the nation proud in this tournament 🏴🏴
Congratulations to South Africa!! A truly world class performance!! ❤️ absolutely gutted at the loss but were beaten by a fantastic team! Love from England! 🏴❤️🇿🇦
The 2nd South African Try reminds me of those wildlife documentaries where the Gazelle outwits the Lion with the body swerve dummy. The 1st try was just a joy to watch.
To be humble and confident at the same time. To be diverse and have unity is the magic of rugby and something RSA and New Zealand have in common. This is why so many South Africans are all black fans and so many kiwis are South African fans. We are cut from the same cloth and the only thing better than beating Australia is beating England. Well done South Africa, I have never seen so many kiwis pack out a bar to cheer on a team in a game we had no skin in. England gave us a game we had no answers to, and South Africa gave England a masterclass in technical rugby, humility and humanity.
South Africans love the All Blacks because you lot love rugby as much as we do.We will wake up at 2am in the morning to watch the greatest rivalry in rugby on the telly.Did'nt like the way Farrel disrespected the Haka so im glad we could set them straight.
@@saitamalowry6795 thank you for the comments..i wish the arrogant people could understand what the haka is about.Samoa and Tonga also have there own form of haka...oh and CONGRATS
@@saitamalowry6795 He didn't disrespect it - he stood with his teammates and accepted the challenge that the haka represents. There was no arrogance involved; we up here hold the haka in VERY high regard - it's one of the most iconic sporting moments and we will always respect it, but never bow to it.
They were too focused on the All Blacks i guess and probably forgot about the main game. As A NZ fan is was gutted at how they played and mistakes they made compared to the complete performance last week. But happy that cup still remains in southern hemisphere. Congrats to the two best teams in the world.
@@Silhillian1968 We always knew that, but we are not wasteful with our tries and only use them when necessary. Unless you are from New Zealand (who also have three World Cups), I suggest your team should try copying the Springboks, it can only make them a lot better.
am happy we won not only for us South Africa but for the southern hemisphere if we had lost the match we were all not going to rest from the English media as England would have beaten all the southern hemisphere giants
This victory is for South Africa not the Southern Hemisphere, for example if France won the tournament Ireland wouldn't be celebrating a win for the Northern Hemisphere, let them enjoy their moment.
After that solid 20 phase defense and England still hadn’t scored, I knew the game was ours. No team recovers from a mental blow like that. The tries were just the cherry on top. Well played England, heads high. Bokke, you’ve made your country unbelievably proud and written yourselves into the history books. Nou bring daai beker huis toe. 🔥💛💚
All three of the Springboks World Cup final victories have been built on defence. South Africa's organisation, discipline and ferocity on defence is unparalleled in World Cups. Our coaches occasionally forget that and try to turn the Springboks into the All Blacks or France, and it fails miserably every time. I love our Springbok style of rugby and hope Rassie has now convinced future coaches not to mess with it.
@@michaeljohnson-thiman4975 both teams were excellent. And being in the finals was already an achievement. Well done england and well done my dear bokke😊
I'm from Brazil, rugby is not popular here, and a lot people don't know. But for the first time, the Rugby World Cup was broadcast here, I found the sport very interesting, I would like to follow more tournaments.
Media: England has outstanding defence and just amazing chemistry, they will beat South Africa without breaking a sweat South Africa: Ja hold my biltong will you
Me first. Epic win for the bokkes. Completely outplayed the roses in every department and completed s demolition with two excellent tries. So proud to be a saffa
South Africa was never expected to win the 2019 world cup. From day one, they were never the favourites !! Some commentators said that they had an outside chance but these same commentators doubted it ! It is the humbleness and humility that the coach, the captain and all those South African players displayed that pushed them over the top. They believed but in a quiet, non arrogant way that they could do it !! It really is a beautiful story of a people that could dig deep without screaming and shouting that they were the best !! All those interviews by the coach, the captain and some of the players showed us all what humility and not having to be in the limelight all the time can achieve. Thoroughly enjoyed that final and started following all the South African matches from the quarters on. They were the team to watch. Well done South Africa, what a class act !! I am an avid New Zealand citizen who loves his rugby but this display of humbleness by the South Africans even made me cry !!
Mike Harris. You are indeed a true sportsman and can take a loss like a gentleman. As a bok supporter i love the win, but would have taken a loss to England wirh proud also.

Sport is a beautiful, if at times painful thing. Too be fair however, I did believe Wales would have gone further than England. They had a much better team. Our media always love to hype our sports teams.
Fair play South Africa. I'm absolutely gutted but we were outplayed all across the park, so can't really complain. I was worried that our power game was going to be matched and potentially bettered and that's exactly what happened. Erasmus deserves huge credit for taking the Boks from where they were a couple of years ago to World Cup winners. As for us, I know nobody remembers the 2nd place team but to have gone from a pool stage knockout on our own turf to the final in the next is something to have some pride in. Thankfully the majority of our squad will be around for the next tournament, so I'm looking forward to seeing what happens over the next four years.
@@MyFreedee No worries, thank you for not rubbing it in! It really baffled me why some fans though we would walk all over you. You've more or less been on par with NZ for the past couple of years and you don't get to a World Cup final being a bad team. Enjoy the win.
somanytakennames not going to lie, England has played very well in this tournament, however they got unlucky with the finals. I’m ecstatic about SA’s win and I think we truly deserve it, but I would’ve thought the same about England
Thought England played well each game apart from today but always worried that they would throw in a shocker. Thought their discipline was good until today as well. Only negative was the players not putting their medals on, bit childish. I know they were disappointed but that was pretty poor.
South Africa damped a Japan combined team in Japan. On top of that, Japan National team is a money team. Their best players are from Tonga, Fiji, Samoa and one Maori. Respect to them. Well done Boks! Greetings from Argentina!

@@tonysa2337 Your long winded political rhetoric detracts from exactly what youre saying. Keep politics out of sport.
Its very easy, best man qualifies for the job.
This part of your post speaks volumes about your, callous and elitist views:
"Don’t ask a day labourer what black people think. Walk into a university campus and sit with young black people, go into their homes and share a meal with them on a regular basis, then you will begin to really know what we care about and what we don’t care to get involved in."
What you care about, and what you don't care to get involved in, is made abundantly clear from your post.
Mapimpi was my man of the match. He was phenomenal, making tackles, chasing the high ball and the creativity for his try. Excellent performance!

Thanks but I wished that south africa could've vs America? But I also respect your message and I'm a proud south african
Well said, +1 for best rugby host nation.

This is why I love NZ, its people and its love for rugby.
Your biggest rival on the field and friend off it🇿🇦🇳🇿

Mike Harris thanks bro
@Mike Harris Your team played excellent rugby this world cup, as a Saffa i have to take my hat off to you guys
Thank you. We needed this win in RSA.
Mike Harris. You are indeed a true sportsman and can take a loss like a gentleman. As a bok supporter i love the win, but would have taken a loss to England wirh proud also.
A worthy opponent indeed
Best world cup final ever since 1995.
Congratulations South Africa. It was an amazing game. Glad the Cup is staying in the southern hemisphere!! Huge respect from an ABs fan 😊
Well done, boys!!! Proud South African! This game has brought the Nation together... Like its supposed to be!
English media: no one can match the English teams physicality
Springboks: hold my 🍻
LOL
No one in the English media said we couldn't be matched. In fact they said SA were a physical match for us and then some.
😂😂
AGT Mboweni the English media said the opposite of what you are accusing them of, they said The Boks were larger and more powerful, well done South Africa best team won the competition
@@PatrickKelly-lz3pv The English front row 920kg vs SA front row 900kg so equally balanced.
Thank you South Africa for making us (Africa) proud..✊🏾✊🏾👊🏾👊🏾🇿🇼❤️ love from Zimbabwe.
I can’t believe I’ve watched this at least 50 times! The best Rugby World Cup final ever!!!
Congratulation south africa are the best ... from Costa Rica🇨🇷

Thank you for your support🇿🇦🇨🇷
Love much. From South Africa💙
As a Kiwi, I’ve never been this proud of the Springoks!😂😀😁
Hopefully our great rivalry will start again. Respect from SA
...only because England made you look very ordinary, and you're salty.
tonebonetones
Swing low, sweet chariot..now it’s time for you to go hoooooome😂
@@tonebonetones Course we are Salty, a team that beats us only 1 out of every 10 games knocked us out of the WC, think what a great final ABs vs SA would have been, the two best teams in the world fighting it out. Maybe in France 2023 we will get the final the world of rugby really wants.
tonebonetones an in the end that meant zero after the Spingboks man handled your team an put their names in the history books .
If your not first , your nothing
Well done Boks
Can’t wait for next year RC
NZ beat RSA
Eng beat NZ
RSA beat Eng
You've gotta love sport 😂😂
Congrats to South Africa, from an England supporter we played our final last week and the energy just wasn't there and we let SA play how they wanted, incredibly proud of how far this team has come in 4 years as the memories of 2015 are still fresh, onwards and upwards :)🌹🌹
Rock paper scissors of rugby
@@123sadt Absolutely! I kind of knew that NZ was going to be our best performance so I didn't get my hopes up ;)
Well said mate
Rock Paper Scissors🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sport is a beautiful, if at times painful thing. Too be fair however, I did believe Wales would have gone further than England. They had a much better team. Our media always love to hype our sports teams.
That last TRY was beautiful that inside step was amazing the perfection and execution wowzers love from Aotearoa
Come on South África, Argentina is with you!!!
One love
Vamos Pumas ✌

Congratulations South Africa
Vamos los Pumas
Siya Kolisi is a South African hero 🇿🇦❤️
Not only Siya, but yes, he is.
We Japanese gonna miss rugby from tomorrow🙏
Thanks to both teams South Africa and England😁👍🏻
@Benji Nothing but love for Siya
So you gonna insult Handrè Pollard & Faf de klerk just like that?
@@AngeloMcWhatever How is that an insult?
Well said man, you guys had a great sporting year so chin up and have a drink.
Your team really played well this RWC.
@@MyFreedee
No worries, thank you for not rubbing it in!
SA did it again! Congratulations you had the best team in the tournament. I really enjoyed this great match. Grettings from Argentina!
2015 Japan beat South Africa in England
2019 South Africa beat England in Japan
Anyway congrats Springboks 🇿🇦
Don't forget we also beat Japan in Japan 😂
@@EpicTube84 like bosses LOL
2015: England knocked out in the pool stages
2019: England were crushed by a 4 nation South African side.
Bokkes 3 titles yessss 👏👏🏆🇿🇦
South Africa damped a Japan combined team in Japan.
On top of that, Japan National team is a money team. Their best players are from Tonga, Fiji, Samoa and one Maori. Respect to them.
Well done Boks!
Greetings from Argentina!
Leandro L.V. 日本にも良い選手おるけどな
This was a very straight forward game for south africa
they played to their strength
South Africa deserved the win but the French ref was biased. You knew even before the game that it was going to happen. Anyway congrats springboks
@@oirsiplvekp6407 I think at least one of the scrum calls was questionable, but SA still deserved the win and were by far the better team today. -Englishman
The first half was close tho
@@oirsiplvekp6407 Jerome was a fair ref in every way
From a kiwi: great job SA for keeping the trophy it in the best hemisphere and away from the poms👌 you guys are the best team in the world now, cant wait for the NZ SA rivalry to continue
Away from the poms 🏋🏾♂️
Southern Hemisphere Unite!
Why does everyone hate England tho? In every sport, not just rugby
@@SSC0002 because they are full of pride which makes them think they're best..they need to be humbled a little
@@jongilejoe7973 Seems to me like every other team's fans are full of pride. A lot of sports fans act as if they personally helped their team to win. Looking at these comments over the course of the tournament I would say the English fans are the least proud
