I saw this as coming on the E shop on Switch. Thanks for the review. I don't typically play Otome games (but have played a couple) but this one looks very interesting. Especially love the art style. Some of the best art style in any visual novel.

I used to study Japanese, I actually have a BA in Japanese Language and Culture haha I got to do 1 year in Japan and I used to be about N3 level, but it's been more than 5 years since I got back and my skills have deteriorated a lot. I'm definitely lower than your skills, I forgot almost all my kanji ^^;; I sort of stopped playing games as much or focusing on my skills for a few years but I rediscovered otome earlier this year (perfect timing too, golden era for localization!) and it made me want to brush up my skills. I used to mostly read books in Japanese for practice but I love the idea of using games to help also ^^

This game is on sale now for 60% until the end of January, so I had to get it right now since I have been saving up my Online money for a game that was on Sale. So this will be my first Otome hehe. I am looking up reviews mostly for route recommendations and other than leaving Allen's route last, every review has had a different recommendation and I am like "Sheesh" lol. I am just glad I am playing this game now before the FD comes out over here lol. Edit- It's on sale on Nintendo's E-shop, forgot to mention that. It's about $20.

It said like physical beauty and I'll be honest I do need to be physically attractive to someone initially. Like I once dated someone I originally met online, and there was no physical chemistry so it didn't last too long. Plus as nice as the guy was, he was definitely a bit of a pushover and I as nice as I am, I am definitely an "Alpha female" due to my upbringing and being very stubborn. It's why in media, I am more drawn to the more 'manly men', kuuderes, and tsunderes because they have spines lol. What result did you get initially because I assumed you took the test as yourself right?

@@LinLinLavender Yeah I am playing as myself for the first one, but I will have a guide on standby, I am such a wimp when it comes to 'bad endings' and while I know the bad endings here might as well be 'normal', but I still want to avoid them if possible lol. Real life for me is hard enough, I don't want sad endings in the media I consume (for the most part, there are exceptions *looks at Titanic*). Right now the person I am feeling most drawn to is Shelby because like I said, I like my kuuderes. Close 2nd is Ryuki because yeah he's a tsun boy. Plus I can already tell that each of these parasites will represent each of the love types (and I am aware of the secret route too) lol. I've already figured out a few things and am like, "Game you're making this too easy lol."

@@LinLinLavender i mean you can also play the male audience game safe away from the 18+ content but some still have fan service in them also between otome and male audience VN i dont see a lot difference other then maybe the fact there more male translated VN that have 18+ i did see a video once showing one for woman that where but i dont believe where ever translated to the west but both are anime ,both can be kenetic novels or choice based which is why i dont see much of a diference between the 2 cuase both have diferent ending and choice's in the routes so i concider otome a VN to im also female so iv seen both side though they do need fix the nekopara catboy paradise game they could just made it like the female version without different endings i mean there no choice's other then picture to go down each route but id feel bad if only went down one them expshily dill and i also love sage idk about fennel though but i feel they could just made it like the original nekopara more but male cat boys instead female in my opion sens both arent actuly that much different to be honest between otome and other VN anyways but you do got VN like stein gate and dangonronpa which are a complete different type VN from the normal but still good if your asking me for recommendation on the other type VN maybe Aokana - Four Rhythms Across the Blue you can play it also without the 18+ patch alot them actuly you can but also one my other female friend loved aokana but it is a long game i still need to dive into it lol i only play a bit of it but it where these people are gravitating in the sky and there even a anime based on the game i also would recommend Root Double -Before Crime * After Days- Xtend Edition i play the first 6 hours of it and i loved it if you like servivial VN there stuck in this nuculare plant that had a melt down and are trying to save people and there also traped with a killer inside , they also have clannad VN and little buster on steam as well i loved majikoi love me seriously but if you dont like dirty humor i would recommend against it but it also has it own anime but it kinda a bad adaption lol but alot adapation from otome or other VN ushuly dont turn out very good except i loved clannad alot still do i would also recommend staying away from the sakura game though are very male oriented games unlike the other where they have good story and can be play without that cert en content tord male audience id also say stay away from wonderful everyday down the rabbit whole and song of saya also stay away from maggot baite and euphoria all 4 though are traumatize fuel and extremely messed up i just thought id let you know in case you run in to them at any point but yeah there nightmare fuel and even the last 2 of these alot people wont touch there the worst it like the company trying to see how long you can handle being traumatized and endurance but id never touch them with a ten foot pool , um the other one i wanna buy im not sure yet id buy all 3 if i could but that not possible but i did see idea factory was also selling cupid parasite a big limited edition thing i want but if i do that i cant get a secant otome ;w; so id have to think that over lol best i might do it 60$ per otome for the sound track with it i didint realize that there was a pre order for olympia with the soundtrack tell it was to late rip i love the music though in the game it so good im also hopeing someday to get merch of otome games but im still kinda new to otome i play more the male audiance games before lol i have alot them on steam but i do got a group of otome to complete play still on there like nameless the last thing i must recall i only play one ending and it was weird lol , also need finish hakouki , then i got busterfellow like i said on there didint buy it on the switch decided on steam instead also got backstage pass, hustle cat , hatoful boyfriend , ozomafia, 7 scarlet , amnesia mmeories got there ardy play most of it all the good ending 1 bad and 1 normal , Psychedelica of the Ashen Hawk ,Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly , also nightshade i only currently own 4 otome on my switch though to be honest even though i did buy collar x malice and code realize as 2 my first 5 game for my switch when i first bought it this year it wasint the big reason i bought the switch it that the switch has more games im interested in the play station now rip it kinda sad cuase the play station was my fave for a long time cuase spyro the dragon lol but i have no regret i kinda see otome as a perk for owning the switch the other game i bought with it was animal crossing ,zelda botw and fire emblem i do got some other now like hades,monster hunter rise and dragon quest for it to now but yeah the switch has more games i wanna play on it then play station though i do need finish my persona 5 the only game that interest me on play station is kingdome heart,spyro games,crash games , final fantasy , and any persona game that about it though i did buy persona 5 striker for the switch lol but cant play it yet need marathon persona 5 then royal first i was addicted to the game but lost my rythem so need pick that back up also i grew up on spyro as a kid so i had to buy the remaster version i even bought it on steam as well and mom surprised i have bought it for the switch yet lol XD i also have a tattoo on my arm of the dragon by a really good artist name chris 51 from area 51 he used to have his own show on tv but im glade i got to meet him and get the tattoo i wanted he also did my lilo and stitch tattoo as well id def recommend him if you ever got a tattoo of any cartoon you could ask him about a anime character though but i haven't had him do that yet and there another artist im looking at for the anime one which is next i just dont know which one yet i was gonna get tyki from d gray man but im not sure now d gray man was one the first manga i got into back in 2016 along with ibitsu and a silent voice they where kinda my starter got into VN in 2018 and otome kinda started with amnesia memories 2019
