Bone Philip! Quite a pet name. An interesting memorial stone indeed.

Yes, isn’t. So much to explore, see and learn……I love visiting them - just need to knuckle down to doing some editing!

@@HimInChurch Just discovered your channel. You have a new subscriber due to it. Should you ever be in these area and have the time, I would love to see videos on Holy Trinity, Gosport (Hants.), St. Margaret's, near Well (Lincolnshire), St Mary's, Leighton Bromswold (Cambridgeshire) which was restored by the poet George Herbert and Nicholas Ferrar (of Litle Gidding fame) and St. Luke's, Torquat (Devon)--a Victorian gem.

@@josephr.gainey2079 @josephr.gainey2079 That's quite a list you've got there! I'll certainly do my best to get to them, if I'm in those areas 🤗 I had someone (also) from USA contact me today about visiting a church her ancestors have a tribute in - do the churches you've mentioned have a genealogical connection to you, or is there something in particular that links them? 🤔...just curious. I'm going to have to start writing these down! 📝

Hello from Australia! Wondering if you saw any "Merrigame" tombstones there?

Greetings! No. I’ve never heard of Merrigame’ tombstones - sounds very interesting! Are they particular to this church or the area/region?

Further to my earlier message I googled merrigame tombs and it came up with people who had died in Kingsbridge, Devon - I hadn’t seen/looked for any myself and do not actually live in that area, but there’s clearly resources to discover if you wish to google it yourself. Also look at ‘wikitree’ as there’s some stuff there. Hope this helps.
