      U r not going to get it, if u r taking care urself early in life. Don't eat food that turn into a lot of sugar. Test ur blood (a1c) regularly even u r young. Some studied, diabetes comes from genetic (from ur parents), but some studied, it not true. Eat more healthier food and exercise and cut down alcohol.
