Hi Ceci, The beliefs are so different , you are totally right , so the crucial question which will move us to certainty on what really happened is which script was preserved from the time of it's prophet??, is it the bible or the Quran ?!!!, scientists have found Quran on a piece of leather from the time of Prophet Mohammed ( PBU) about 1500 years ago which clearly proves that the Quran revelation was not changed since the prophets time .

Cici, per my understanding, he was put on the cross but he didn't die contrary to the expectations but went unconscious. He was put in the tomb thinking he was dead. He gain consciousness later. The miracle is being alive after being put on the cross and later in the tomb just like Jona was in the sea and later in the belly of the whale.
Jesus being on the cross = Jona being in the sea & Jesus being in the tomb= Jona being in the belly of the whale.

About your initial remarks before the video started. We Muslims believe Jesus(pbuh) was raised physically to the heavens. It is believed that other messengers like Idris(Enoch) was also raised physically into the heavens but had his soul taken in the fourth heaven. So it is mentioned in the Quran that Allah raised Idris(Enoch) pbuh to a high station referring to him being lifted physically to the heavens. He is certainly not coming back cos his soul was taken and his job was done on earth.
Jesus is certainly coming back because Allah in His wisdom had planned that he should come back. He has an unfinished business and also maybe because of the misconceptions that has gone on his name. People have taken him to be the Almighty and worship him whilst he did not tell them to do so. He will come and correct that wrong and also kill the Antichrist(dajjal) and establish the true religion(Islam)on earth. He as a prophet when he was about to be captured prayed to Allah that he does not want to die.
You have to understand that crucifying people those days was how criminals were put to death as Deuteronomy 21:23 states it. People who died through crucifixion were called accursed of God in Deuteronomy, so should we believe Jesus was an accursed of God???Jesus didn’t want to die that way and Allah certainly didn’t permit that. The chief priests those days planned to use a clever way to kill Jesus as Mathew 26:2 states it. They planned and Allah also planned. Allah saved one of His mightiest messengers from being killed in a gruesome way. Jesus’s prayer of not wanting to die can be read in Mathew 26:39, Luke 22:44 and in Hebrews 5:7 it says that he was saved from that which he feared. Allah heard his prayers and answered him. He hasn’t died yet and since it is appointed for man to die and later be judged, he certainly has to come back to earth and fulfill that. Our prophet Mohammed (pbuh) even told us where he will descend, which is in present day Syria 🇸🇾.
Pls go through the Bible verses I have given. They will answer some of your questions. The Quran is certainly clear when it says “they did not crucify him nor did they kill him but It was made to appear to them so”.

The book of Matthew, Luke and Hebrews talk about the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, so stop misinterpreting some verses to make an argument. You won't find a single verse in the Bible that states Jesus Christ didn't die. NOT a single one.

Hello my sister, may peace be with you. I was born muslim but you inspire me everyday with your research and discoveries. I see in you a pure soul submitted to the Almighty Creator Allah. Once you accept in your heart that Allah is one, and that every thing else is His creation, you will have no difficulty recognizing that His message has always been the same: "worship him alone and accept all his messengers as bearers of this very message. You have already gotten your answers in my opinion. You just need to ask yourself why, you in your heart you genuinely hear and recognize the truth that you now posess. Why, when you hear or see the truth you helplessly accept it!? That's because you are being called to be among the humbles, the gratefuls and the truthfuls. The truth will not kill you, nor will it keep your blessing from coming to you. The truth will not but liberate you and allow you to get closer to your Lord. Nothing is worth putting the truth on hold or hiding it. Allah will lead you to the straight path, but you must extend your hand to him. Would you wait until a prophet comes from Allah with signs or would you ask Allah to wait for you untI l you make up your mind before you turn to him and declare that which your heart has been desperately yearnig for? I pray for you everyday to Allah to be patient with you. There is no shame or blame in coming to the light from wherever you may come from. Being born muslim or not does not matter. Whar matters is to accept the truth, to have the courage to declare before Allh and to strive towards the straight path wuch leads to His presebce. Allahou Akbar. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would accept a present, but would not accept alms (sadaqah). And Wahb bin Baqiyyah narrated to us, elsewhere, from Khalid, from Muhammad ibn Amr said on the authority of Abu Salamah, and he did not mention the name of Abu Hurairah: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to accept presents but not alms (sadaqah).
This version adds: So a Jewess presented him at Khaybar with a roasted sheep which she had poisoned. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ate of it and the people also ate.
He then said: Take away your hands (from the food), for it has informed me that it is poisoned. Bishr ibn al-Bara' ibn Ma'rur al-Ansari died.
So he (the Prophet) sent for the Jewess (and said to her): What motivated you to do the work you have done?
She said: If you were a prophet, it would not harm you; but if you were a king, I should rid the people of you. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) then ordered regarding her and she was killed. He then said about the pain of which he died: I continued to feel pain from the morsel which I had eaten at Khaybar. This is the time when it has cut off my aorta.

The Quran NEVER said he was replaced. It said " it just appeared so".

Sister, we have to admit, God is ALL WISDOM, we cannot comprehend Him, it's rightly so, else as though we could read His 'mind', which is impossible.
Remember sister, what God did is due to His ALL KNOWING. He is NOT bound to time, He created the time. For us, there's a difference between past, present and future. Time influenced our thoughts, physical, etc. But to God, there's no any difference whatsoever between past, present or future, He sees EVERYTHING.
There's so many version as who was hanged(not Jesus) but one of his disciple who betrayed him, in another version, he volunteer to save Jesus. God made his face resembled Jesus.
None of the roman's who came to catch Jesus seen him before. It was dawn, they can't see clearly. It was said when one of the roman's asked, "Who's Jesus?" This particular disciple stand up.They caught him. Jesus was not there.

My sister don't get your self confused about this someone being replaced on the cross, Qur'an neva mentions that buh it says in, Sur An-Nisa 4:157, "They will said in boost (Jews) that we have killed Christ(PBUH) son of Mary messenger of ALLAH, then ALLAH says they killed him not neither do they crucified him, it was made to appear so & for those who differ therein are full of doubts with no certain knowledge buh only conjecture to follow, for assurerity they killed him not" and in the next verse Sur An-Nisa 4:158, ALLAH says "...I took him up alive unto myself" and He's coming back in the second coming as a flesh and born not in spirit form to clarify the doubts of those who claimed he has died for there sins. I just wanted to provide you with the authentic explanation of Surah Nisa verse 157-158. Where it was mentioned Jesus Christ (pbuh) was not crucified neither killed, but was only made to appear to them so . But Allah raised Jesus up into the heaven alive in body and soul. The best person to explain this verse was a Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) himself. He says when the Roman army comes to arrest Jesus, they initially don’t know where Jesus was . One of Jesus own disciples by the JUDAS betrayed Jesus because he Judas was offer money from roman authorities so he lead them to a place where Jesus was. This place is called the Upper Room. As soon they arrived he Judas was went inside the house just to confirm that Jesus Christ (pbuh) was inside . However Jesus was already informed by the angels that the Roman army where coming for him and Judas will betray him . Now what happens ? . Judas is inside just to confirm whilst the Roman army were waiting outside , as Judas was going outside to tell the enemies, miraculously Almighty Allah change the appearance and face of Judas to look exactly like Jesus. As soon as he Judas walked outside the Roman army arrested him thinking that he Judas was Jesus while Jesus was inside still. So he got arrested, but He Judas was crying to them that he is Judas and Jesus is in the house and they disbelieve him . Roman went in but they couldn’t find or see Jesus with the help of Almighty Allah, Jesus was lifted straight into the heaven. Your Question is what happens to Jesus then ? , Quran says he was lifted up via the angel Jibril into the heaven alive in body and soul . Before he Jesus lifted into the heaven He also prophecies the coming of the final prophet and messenger Muhammad. I hope this answers your Question regarding Islamic perspective. Ask Muslims why did Jesus Christ come to this earth in particular, what did he come to do specifically on earth. Why was he born in the first place, why was he taken away, why will he still come back. What role was carved for him in islam

Hi Ceci, you were asking why Jesus was the one chosen to come back, why not his apostles, actually Ceci, Allah chooses whom he wants and we don't ask why, this is his wish, he chooses to make Moses a prophet, I shouldn't say why not me, he chose to create angels, I shouldn't say I want to be an angel, this is Allah's wish and degree.
As for the issue of Jesus died or not, the Quran was clear as you said in sura Alnisaa "157. And for their saying, “We have killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah.” In fact, they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them as if they did", this what we have in Islam, some scholars say that they have taken someone else thinking to be Jesus, others would say that it was Jesus who was on the cross but he did not die then when he was taken down from the cross, and recovered, the fact that Mary Magdalene when she went on Sunday to the sculpture to put spices on him, to anoint him, according to Mark 16, the strange thing is that it is not a Jewish culture to do that to a decayed body if he truly died, and since she was an eye witness, she probably noticed that he was not dead when he was brought down the cross, the reason why first thing on Sunday she came with medicine, the other thing in John 20:15, she looked at Jesus and that he was the gardener, though she knows him, but she thought he was the Gardner because he was in disguise as a gardener, that he did not die, and didn't want people to know him still not fully recovered.. Allah knows best. But as Muslims all we definitely know is that Jesus did not die nor was he crucified, and was taken up to Allah, the rest are scholars thoughts mainly.

In the quran it is clear that jesus is not crucified and didn’t die. What happened during the crucifixion is not specified in the quran. So if someone took his place or they captured someone without knowing, this is not specified. Furthermore, why would Allah let his mighty messenger be killed and humiliated like that. He raised Jesus to him and we believe that the message of Jesus was with his disciples until paul came.

The ambiguity in the Quran is an indication that the author was not sure.The doc definitely lied because he chooses a verse which doesn't relate to context.

Allah gave Jesus’ appearance to the one who revealed his location to those persecuting him. He was replaced as Jesus and the executioners thought the victim was Jesus, causing everyone to believe that Jesus was crucified.
We r not sure..maybe the roman wrongly put another man on the cross...theres no witness to tell us 100% he been crucify..but its confirmed that jesus not crucifiy by the Quran...because after sometimes jesus went to upper room to meet his diciples who r unaware that Jesus is alive...all disciples were fled n didnt witness the crucifixtion
According to Jesus he will not die. He said the only similitude he gave was that of Jonas in the belly of the whale. Jonas did not die in the belly of the whale. And look at the Luke version when he asked for food. He actually said don't be scared as a spirit don't have flesh and bones. Then he ate.
Pray,Pray with all your heart to be baptised with The Holy Spirit....and speak in tonges....then you get power from Heaven from Jesus.....and you will understand The Bible better....because your spirit will be opened to The Truth....if you are not reborn again ask that first with repentence....ask to be reborn ...

Dr Naik is a respectfull wise man ,I have listend him many times but doesn't have The Holy Spirit....so he explained about Jonah in a logical way,humanly ......with Christ there is no logic...it's supernatural.....you have to believe....have faith .. supernatural,Heavenly laws are not earthly laws.....there are no logical explaines......
