Blackpool pleasure beach is most probsly the safest park ever , well maybe just in England idk but the worst thug that's happens is that the ride stops and from my research it has never like De railed or anyone died or anything like that
Craig Maxwell I did research and it said that no one has died there, except for an man who went on one of the rides and he broke his neck or something like that, but that only happened because he had an disease, and it stated on the rise with a person with that disease cannot ride the ride. I didn't see anything about a little boy, its sad that people have died there, hopefully there will be no more deaths
Abbie Casey An inquest has heard how a boy fell from a rollercoaster at Blackpool's Pleasure Beach and was killed when he was struck by an oncoming carriage. A verdict of accidental death has been returned on Christopher Sherratt, 11, who suffered multiple injuries when he fell from from the Space Invader ride. No prosecution will be brought against the Pleasure Beach, although Health and Safety Executive officials believe that the strap holding him in was not restraining him properly. i do believe that blackpool pleasure beach is very safe. i remember losing one of my bags once whilst on the avalanche. i gave my bag to my dad and it included things like a water bottle, money, my phone, my brother's phone and etc. i was freaking out when i lost it but with a little hope, a janitor found it on a bench and was unsafe. so he put it somewhere safer and my family were looking, we found it. sorry i went a bit off topic there lol
I think it more the clinging onto the side of the ride at height he wasn't keen on, rather than not wanting to see the accident scene. He is a trained medic, not a free-climber. To be fair to him it does look like a somewhat unorthodox rescue, in part due to only being 20-something feet of the ground. You'd think that rescues from rides would involve ladders or cherrypickers (or steps built alongside the track on larger rides, such as on the first climb of the big one), rather than people risking themselves by clambering about on any part of the structure they can cling on to.
Dude: is everyone ok? get everyone out! Me: (Gets everyone out) Dude: IS EVERYONE OK?! Me: yeah, although a little boy is hurt Dude: ok get him off and next time BLOODY WELL ANWSER ME! Me: 😑
Everyone saying “I went on that” or “I Newark’s went on that” my 7 year old brother went on that with me in the first row when I was 11. It’s not a achievement.
Even though I know it was a crash and stuff, the guy in the suit at 0:37 climbing to check whether they're okay is my dad and I cack my pants a little at that still xD
@@welovemoistybutter7570 This particular ride has to have a slightly higher danger rating than most coasters though as the main part of the ride has literally no tracks or anything else holding the cart onto the course, just physics alone. Whilst tolerances will no doubt have been built into the design of the ride, any difference in weight distribution on the cart, or any gradual wear and tear on cart or course (and I was there this weekend and can attest that the course looks very worn where the cart runs along it), surely results in the ride taking at least a very slightly different path round, and it's not impossible that long-term gradual change of this nature, without anything to correct it, could eventually see a cart leave the course entirely, with nothing to restrain it from leaving (unlike the usual electro magnetic safety braking that can stop carts in an emergency on most other coasters).
@@MrDannyDetailthis ride runs in a trough the edges are rolled to keep the cars in if the ride valleys unxpectedly. Also the guide wheels at the side of the car are at a level below the roll of the trough so it's impossible to flip out. And the wear the you saw on the track is the paint coming off from the wheels quite literally the same on every rollercoaster on the planet.
Because when a car brakes at a faster, more sudden rate than it should, riders are thrust forward in their cars. The restraint on the avelanche is a rigid bar that sits in the front riders lap/lower chest area, so when thrust forward suddenly, this bar will begin to crush the rider (especially with the momentum and added pressure of the person sat behind).

I absolute love this coaster
There's an e a the end of Avalanche. Thanks for uploading all these great adverts/clips!
The medic at 0:41 saying 'Do we have to?' when told to have a look at the crash scene should have changed his job description to 'Mr Incompetence'.

I wouldn't want to cling to cars with no restraint and just a drop lol
