BRAND NEW PDQ Tandem Surfline Car Wash at H-E-B Fuel in Conroe, Texas

- I got to film another brand new car wash on the day that it opened! This is a PDQ Tandem Surfline located at 10200 Highway 242. This is an interesting situation because the H-E-B grocery store is not open yet, but their car wash is!
The car wash has a very watery application of pre-soak. This is my first Tandem Surfline, so I'm not sure if that was normal or not. A lot of these cycles move really fast and are hard to film! Tri-foam coverage seemed okay and the flash-dry worked quite well!
This is easily the most expensive car wash I have ever been to, with the top wash package being a whopping $14! I managed to save a dollar by buying a code at the gas pumps, making the price $13. While this wash is very fancy, I can't justify the $14 quite yet; especially when most top-tier washes are $10 around here. Their bottom tier package is the same price as the top-tier package at most car washes here!

Anyone know what the car wash is saying at the end?

More of these are starting to pop up in my state. The Mobil Alltown Convenience store chain has been replacing some of their Ryko systems with these. Mobil Alltown is a chain of stores that are exclusively in New England.
The presoak isn’t normally very watery, I’ve gone through 2 different Tandem Surflines and their presoak coverage was amazing
Dang, that's got a LOT of lights!!! And it's a newer double side brush model, as the older PDQ Tandem washes only had one that went around the car like a LaserWash spray arm.

The Tanden Surfline is more modern technology then pro touch
The HEB Car Wash that’s in Kingwood has a ProTouch Tandem that replaced another ProTouch Tandem
That's odd, I wonder why they'd replace a Tandem with another Tandem. Maybe someone ran in to the first one and broke it beyond repair?

Friction in-bay automatic systems use approximately 35 - 45 gallons of water per wash/vehicle.

Twentiesss these washes do not cause swirl marks are scratches. They use closed cell foam which doesn’t hold dirt or any other harmful particles. Get your facts right.
