It’s an avenger. A mid 90’s. I did a good bit of work to it a couple years ago. The company used to be in Louisiana and I got it when I lived in Mississippi and used to fish in the marshes out and around Venice Louisiana. The boat was designed for marsh fishing where you needed a shallow draft but could also handle a decent chop when in the open water. The company has since been sold to a company in SC but they are using the same ideas for their new molds. Here’s the link they have their story and a nice video about it all. www.avengerbayboats.com/
I’m in the market big time right now for a bay boat just want to make sure I get one that drafts shallow enough but will also handle that rough water that comes out of nowhere here is st joe and apalach. Iv looked at so many just have not pulled the trigger
Surely a tough call! And they aren’t cheap these days either, geez! I can vouch for the avengers! Not an everyday name boat, but gets me to the back of st joe bay, and doesn’t bang too bad when it gets rough. Got a little beat up in hurricane Michael, and sat for a handful of years after my son was born, so had to replace a section of the floor. I repainted the back and front casting decks, reupholstered the seats and replaced all the hatches. She’s still as solid as a rock after being about 30 years old! Good luck, look forward to hearing what you wind up getting.
Thanks. It’s actually funny, there was something in my head that didn’t seem right, I just assumed it was a juvenile bluefish. Should have known though, I’ve used those as bait offshore before, just a long time ago. Thanks for watching!
Smoked blue fish made into dip....yummmm
Never tried that. Might be a good catch and cook idea!
@@forgottencoastfishing It's really good and a nice treat to share
Great video. Be there Saturday for a week. Bringing my skiff.
Awesome! Glad to have you here and hope you enjoy our little slice of paradise! And thanks for watching and subscribing!
Awesome video. Love the recipe, going to have to try it next time I’ve got fresh trout on hand!
Its surprisingly simple, and yes quite delicious. Also something different than the typical garlic type fish sauce. Thanks for watching’
We had great success with getting bait fish with pink sabiki rigs. You really have to find the sweet spot depth wise to get a bunch in the live well.
Ps. Keep up the videos, you are doing so good with them. 👍
Thanks! Glad you are enjoying them! I
Blue fish are great for bait
Yummy!
Thanks! It was! And a lot of fun to make. And thanks for watching!
The fishing part was nice, but for me, Food Network has nothing on you and cooking. Dang, that dish looked so good!!!!
Thanks! You should get some fillets from your buddies down at the river and make it yourself! Any white fish will work.
What kind of bay boat are you running?

That’s not a bluefish, btw.
Thanks. What is it?
