Amazing song for an amazing movie. From a review I read: "Although Wall-E and Eve speak hardly any words to each other the entire film, in their love for each other they evoke more emotion than many human actors do." So true.
Just looking at their eyes, the sounds they make when they are communicating even when they barely speak, and the things they do together just shows how much a movie can be enjoyed, even just scenes themselves that have no dialog and just ambience and or music can still be great
I love this film and the message in it about the destruction of our planet (which mankind is still choosing to ignore and is another story) so much and having one of my all time fave musical heroes sing the theme was a real bonus....
I'm a single mother of 3 disabled young boys. When "WALL-E" first came out on DVD, we bought it immediately! TO THIS DAY, if I ever play THIS CERTAIN SONG, each 3 of my boys will get up from whatever they are doing and begin rocking back and fourth while, "Hand Dancing." (Kinda like sign language but totally different.)
Hi love I hope you and your boys r still in. There is a reason you loved this movie. It's a creation of genius. I hate to sound so confident, but when something is so obvious I have to say something. I hope you and your boys still feel the same way about it. If you felt left out trust me this is a place to be so keep on keepin on ;-)
Love this song.. reminds me of watching wall-e with the kids when they wanted to watch movies with thier parents. Thanks pete for the song, its a family favorite.
i love this movie so much, it made me laugh and cry. so well done, telling a love story between to character by using only a few spopken words is a real achievement. well done pixar!
I'm Russian, and I love this movie so much!!! :) Oh, never heard this song before. Seems... I don't remember it in the movie, though... 0_0 Anyway, great vid! Thanks so much! :) This is a very "PeterGabriel-ish" song, methinks.
That's because the song is played during the end credits and not at all during the movie. So if you left as soon as the movie ended you would not have heard the song.
I was REALLY impressed by this. I was expected a sloppy, poorly edited montage of random clips but you really did a fantastic job with it. It matched the song very well.
If Phil Collins can do at least one song for "Tarzan", then his ex-Genesis bandmate Peter Gabriel can do one song for "Wall-e" Both awesome songs for awesome movies. No wonder they're the superstars of Genesis.
Amd they were both good!!, huh and Elton, for the Lion King!!, I think the movies bring out the kid in them, they come up with these pure energy and joyous songs, that you can help but singalong to. These rockers!!, its such a blessing,.. Godspeed everyone, Peace ✌
Very inspiring movie of someday people will need to live in space but then were they realized that theres no beautiful place like our home earth:)) and we need to go back
Well, yes, interesting choice of scenes, but I don't think they really fit into the music and lyrics... Otherwise superbly done. One of my favourite songs, and sure as hell my favourite movie!
Peter Gabriel deserves every bit of the Oscar trophy he did a lot a great music and ost for movies and so an, Like wall e , so the academy awards! I hated them all ! How long peter have to wait to get an oscar from his work,to his death like heath ledger must be a joke this year!
yeah, i've seen it... its really hilarious!! but he's a really poor guy, i feel really bad for him in the end when the antennae gats destroyed again ;)
Such a well thought out movie that touches you in a similar way with no talking in the first half & so fun & loveable just like it did back in the B&W Silent Films by Charlie Chaplin's " Tramp " character.. Definitely one of the best CGI movies that talks about the lack of communication between humans who have become too attached to technology/polluting the environment & obesity just to name a few... No one can tell me that Wall-e isn't a ringer as a smaller sized version of Johnny Number 5 from the 1886 film " Short Circuit " & the Director of " Wall-e " must have had to do some explaining about the similarities... .....
Wall-E is the crowing achievement of Pixar movies! Andrew Stanton proved that he was not only a genius as a director, but as a writer. This little robot teaches us more about humanity than any "Sage" ever could!! I love this song by Peter Gabriel and composer Thomas Newman. The music and lyrics tie the entire movie together perfectly, and most satisfyingly! Pete Doctor also contributed to writing Wall-E. You remember Pete Doctor? He was the genius behind "Up!"
This song is one of the few credits songs that I actually like. It doesn't entirely fit the tone of the film, but... c'mon, it's Peter Gabriel! No-one does the spiritual, natural thing like him.
@Rancor27 So true man. I think Earth will only start to heal when humans either become extinct, or (more probably) when humans are adversely affected by hurting Earth and Gaia, and they are forced to start over again as a civilization from bar zero
You know a move is epic when you still think it is awesome years later and yet you can't remember how a 3D movie with a recycled script ended even though if it came out less than a year ago.
Ein wahrlich "liebevoll" gemachter Film !!! Der Song ist ein Genuss und eignet sich wunderbar zum Tangotanzen❤
15 years.... im so old right now...
This movie gave me more emotion than any modern blockbuster could dream of doing. This song personifies that.
Amazing song for an amazing movie. From a review I read: "Although Wall-E and Eve speak hardly any words to each other the entire film, in their love for each other they evoke more emotion than many human actors do." So true.
When I see Wall-E and Eve "danicing" using the fire-extinguisher in Space, I can't only do but cry!
Just looking at their eyes, the sounds they make when they are communicating even when they barely speak, and the things they do together just shows how much a movie can be enjoyed, even just scenes themselves that have no dialog and just ambience and or music can still be great
WALL-E is my favorite Disney movie, and this is my favorite song of all time
Indeed a good song. It' a shame that Peter Gabriel didn't win the oscar for it. He truly deserves one making great soundtracks for years.
I love this film and the message in it about the destruction of our planet (which mankind is still choosing to ignore and is another story) so much and having one of my all time fave musical heroes sing the theme was a real bonus....

I hand and arm dance all the time 😆
Thanks for shared 😁
Ah invalids
One of Peter Gabriel's hidden gems, a simply superb track from start to finish. Fitting it should be for such a great movie.
This song is so magnificient. I love when the women sing in the chorus, it's just perfect. Thank you Disney for Wall-E!
great movie! i just watched in several days ago, quite nice, breath-taking pictures and animations, hilarious story and a stunning tunes at the end!
I agree with AgentMerk. I LOVED this movie. It wasn't until the 2nd or 3rd time that I noticed Peter Gabriel sang the song. Classic... Too cool!
But very nice, thank you for sharing🙏🏻🔥❤🌈
Love this song.. reminds me of watching wall-e with the kids when they wanted to watch movies with thier parents. Thanks pete for the song, its a family favorite.
Amen

Amazing song for an amazing movie. Wall-E and UP are probably my favorite Pixar movies.
One of my absolute favourite soundtrack songs - so underrated. Peter Gabriel is a genius ❤️
i love this movie so much, it made me laugh and cry. so well done, telling a love story between to character by using only a few spopken words is a real achievement. well done pixar!
Thanks, Richy. I'm glad you enjoyed my comment on Wall-E and Eve. :)

That's because it IS a Peter Gabriel song.

My son was 4 great memories thankyou😥😥🌟🌟

I concur. :)
Nice song and very nice film! ;)
Straordinario video e la canzone!
Nice job on the video selected to accompany this awesome song.
If Phil Collins can do at least one song for "Tarzan", then his ex-Genesis bandmate Peter Gabriel can do one song for "Wall-e" Both awesome songs for awesome movies. No wonder they're the superstars of Genesis.
Matthew Laskorski absolutely agree. All of the musicians in Genesis were geniuses

I am glad that he got some level of immortality in a Disney film.
awesome.... i know this may sound dumb, but does anyone know what genre this is?

Beau montage Rancor27 !..
C'était pas con de confier la chanson du générique de fin de ce film génial à un génie de la musique !!
Great song.

WALL-E was Pixars peak of creativity.
Since then the company ran out of ideas. :-(
Quargelbrot1 Inside Out and Up would like to prove you wrong.
+Quargelbrot1 How appropriate they brought Peter Gabriel along, since you don't get much more creative than him.
UP was also full of creativity (who would've thought a movie would depict a house lifted by balloons in order to reach South America?)
How the hell has this only got 300K views?
i luv this song
@TruthAboveEverything yess!!!!

Maybe the best fan vid I've seen. Should be the official one for this tune. Well done indeed!
you can find it in the OST the whole album is by D. Newman and only this song is from P.Gabriel

My little guy loves this movie... but who wouldn't..

@Rancor27 So true man. I think Earth will only start to heal when humans either become extinct, or (more probably) when humans are adversely affected by hurting Earth and Gaia, and they are forced to start over again as a civilization from bar zero
Une merveille de plus pour Pixar !
Just watched this on Disney plus.. the ending with peters music is so adorable 🥰
I love it! The song and the images go very well together. Nice job!
nice job! I loved that movie and the song. have you seen the BURN-E short film about a welding robot on the Axiom?

Long-life for " Peter Gabriel" and all the " Genesis"
Their songs and musics by now make part of me and my culture
