I have strep throats because both my nostrils are stuffed so when I sleep at night I breathe with my mouth. Literally my mouth and throat is so dry I have to keep a few bottles next to me when I sleep, I hate being sick :(

Watching in this in 2019 because I have strep and I’m on antibiotics but apparently the antibiotics don’t help with the pain until 2-3 day in so now I wait looking for hope because this pain is beyond me, I rather period cramps

Natalie Claire If you do have strep throat, you should ALWAYS go to the doctor as soon as it starts. They will most likely prescribe an antibiotic, which you have to take unless you're okay with being sick a lot longer. P.S not treating strep throat properly can damage your body. It could advance into something worse

Most likely I have Scarlet fever. It started with my head hurting like if I had a migraine. Then a slightly sore throat that progress to be very painful each day. Sickness like Strep and Scarlet fever last over a week for sure, and trust me do not train or work out during or after recovering from them. And you’ll get it again if you drink cold beverages while recovering from the sicknesses.

So ive had an extremely painful soar throat for about 6 days, just started to have a stuffy nose, but haven't had a fever yet. Anyway, am EXTREMELY painful sore throat. The doctor prescribed me antibiotics but I'm not sure if I should take them or not and he didn't seem sure that I had 'strep throat'... I try avoiding taking antibiotics often, but if I should, then I would... What do you think?
The only antibiotic I have prescribed for throat issues is penicillin.
