I've found with the Hogan figures that if you put the arms of the glasses into the bandana (which is accurate to how he wore them) they stay on the head much better.

Although I do agree with a lot of your gripes, I will still be getting it to complete the Mean Gene BAF and also because I’m all in on any Hogan figures they release.
Hey Kyle I don't accept budget reasons anymore since they increased prices. We should be at a point were shirts are soft goods... I think I'm getting it so I can display WM 18 Hogan vs Rock.
Cool seeing that air brush boot design. The glasses and Bandana. Can see the fun of them being chased when have a figure avalanche. That aside. For getting started way late is a must get and well Mean Gene another.
Would like to see them do 1 more Wolfpac Hogan just so we can get one with the red flames on the white boots. 2 other big Hogan figure wants are a 2 pack with Sting from Starrcade 97 and maybe even a 2 pack with Goldberg from that July 98 title match. I think they shortchanged us on the tights design here. His Mania 18 tights had lightning bolts but also some blue smokey flame detailing. This figure looks fine, but just not 100% there.
looks like the arms on mean gene are double jointed like the upcoming michael hayes. might have to grab a few of these hulks just to update some of the older BAFs

At this point I feel Mattel is over saturating the market with wwe figures and has killed that special feeling of finding particular characters especially in their first go around. For example it will never feel as special getting another Hogan figure after having the original Defining Moments and the Ultimate Edition Hollywood versions.
I like the idea of the build a figure Mean Gene. But I’m pretty sure they’re is a Mean Gene figure coming out? Probably going to pass on this Hogan. It looks good but I’m sure they’re will be another 😎👍🏻🇺🇸
Hollywood Hogan wasn't my favorite version of Hogan and if it weren't for the Mean Gene parts I'd be passing. The only figure I care about in this line besides Mean Gene is Macho Man because of the King attire. So I'm looking forward to that review and the review of Mean Gene.
It's highly disappointing that it's the same as his Elite 91 figure. His torso is too thin. His headsculpt is annoying-- his eyebrows are oddly far apart and his chin sticks too far out. The glasses sitting oddly due to the bandana is a bummer, I was hoping Mattel would find a work-around. The most disappointing aspect is he doesn't have the proper orange tan as his other recent figures have (once you go orange tan with Hogan, any other skin tone looks out of place). Also, the Hollywood print on the back of his tights is inaccurate. The thing is, I always wanted a WMX8 Hogan. It was my favorite time as a teenager-- I was there live when Rock challenged Hogan. I wanted to have the epic staredown between Hogan and Rock on display but I reckon I have to hold my breathe for an improved WMX8 Hogan. 6.5/10 figure.
As a hogan collector this will be purchased asap,but I agree about the vest.looks a little like they've just painted elite 91 black,white.

REALLY wish they would just sculpt a Hogan head with glasses on and just paint over it. As a separate piece, the glasses always look awful.

For any moc collectors the jacket stains the figure really bad I've just opened one on 15th February 24 and it's horrible
