Wow this actually hit me really hard, I'm actually really passionate about fps games, especially Valorant. I own a really old laptop HP Probook 4540s i5 3rd gen, Intel HD 4000, thank god Valorant was designed optimally, I manage to get around 30-40 fps tops, usually play with 75-80 ping all the time(BSNL wifi) 😂😂 But still managed to get aces a lot of times and actually outplayed people with better rig and ping. After watching this I felt your words. Before I used to just complain "If I had a better rig and ping I would definitely become a very good player", but now I actually realize all those are not necessary to prove myself 😇 Thanks for the motivation and insights, I'm gonna start recording my gameplay inspite all the odds and will definitely mail you a montage in a couple of months.

@1:40 Nailed it @ 10:21 Mood Apart from these things I agree with everything rushi or everyone in the video said/discussed Trust me I was one of you guy and I did send an email regarding content creation after sending an email I streamed for 2 weeks maybe and it didn't hit me that time at all and hence I never followed up with them (I streamed without having a GPU in my PC !) I stopped and switched to my full time job in gaming and now I can afford good PC capable of streaming but can't due to WFH. You've to try to do it on your own at least a start and then they might help you out. Even I really want to join any esports org but can't just because I come from technical background in gaming and least I can do is critic their work and suggest something to make their content better or work with data if they require something. Every damn thing he said in the video is 100% true !

I got your point that: iphone is not necessary in the beginning, first prove your worth and you'll get the opportunities. Now I'll tell you my POV: I have a OnePlus 6, I have played many t1 and t2, I'm a decent assaulter plus IGL, but now when I approach any T1 organization or a clan, the first thing they want is an IOS DEVICE, once I tell them that I have OnePlus 6, I literally get ignored from the next second, they don't see my messages nor do they reply me. This has happened to me for more 6-7 times. If I'm not getting a chance, how do I prove myself? I'm up for a constructive conversation. Edit 1: After knowing my device, I don't get a chance to even give the tryouts, like not even a chance to prove that I can play good on android. They don't even want to consider my gameplay if I'm on android.

I got your point that: iphone is not necessary in the beginning, first prove your worth and you'll get the opportunities.
Now I'll tell you my POV: I have a OnePlus 6, I have played many t1 and t2, I'm a decent assaulter plus IGL, but now when I approach any T1 organization or a clan, the first thing they want is an IOS DEVICE, once I tell them that I have OnePlus 6, I literally get ignored from the next second, they don't see my messages nor do they reply me. This has happened to me for more 6-7 times. If I'm not getting a chance, how do I prove myself? I'm up for a constructive conversation.
Edit 1: After knowing my device, I don't get a chance to even give the tryouts, like not even a chance to prove that I can play good on android. They don't even want to consider my gameplay if I'm on android.

I need to get a chance to give a tryout, I'm pointing towards the problem with the community or rather the clan owners and organisation owners, that they only need iOS players and won't even consider the players playing on android. And also FYI, I have been uploading videos on TH-cam and instagram from past 1 year. I'm taking every possible step, and not BEGGING for anything.
