I cried so much when I watched this movie. I‘m tearing up again watching this recap! Such a tragic story… but at last he‘s free of the curse and he had even fallen in love.
He didn’t deserve it. Also fun yet painful fact, this anime is based on a *real* story l, the character Gin was actually based off a real person who sadly lost their life. Of course this is much more fictional with him disappearing like that but the concept is the same losing someone very precious ♥️
I remember watching this for the first time as this was my first anime, teared me up and made me in a rabbit hole of anime's to watch and the rest is history :)
I still think he didn‘t do it on purpose. Everything happened so fast and they were still caught up in the moment. But he did react very quickly and rightly so.
@@riaconradt2554 but he had gone to those festivals a lot of times before and he had never made such mistake, also, if he thought the kid was a spirit he wouldn't care about it falling since spirits can't get hurt. He probably did it on purpose.

i remember watching this like it focking hurts so bad in mah heart i literally cried out. still now it hurts a little bit more bcoz the manga is just a oneshot😭😭

@@iam878 yes you are wrong, she didn’t fall in love with him at 6. As she grew older and be the same age as him, she doesn’t see him as a friend anymore. She talked about this in the anime about being the same age and having relationship with him. It seem like she waited very long
