I agree with you about the tripod mount..I wish that there were one too but also the print size...I wish that it were larger film but the option to print a single frame from a video clip is pretty impressive. Decisions Decisions. Decisions. I hope Fujifilm sees your video and hires you as an influencer because you sure influenced me.

The motion picture setting is so neat and there is so many cool modes; although, I feel this camera is bordering more of a digital camera/ wireless printer which isn’t necessarily a bad thing especially when square film is so expensive, but I feel it takes away a bit of the surprise of instant film away. Having the picture digitally is so handy though, and it’s great to get pictures of moving animals or children. However the fact it is missing a tripod mount sucks because you have to do what you did and balance it and that would stress me out since it’s so expensive.

I agree. Also when you consider that these mini portable wifi printers are just as small & cheaper than the SQ10 and SQ20, I don't see the point of these cameras for anyone who has a mobile phone & could do these edits on it. It's a bit bizarre... I prefer a real instant camera.

Happy new year Theodore & happy belated birthday! This is a lovely present & thank you for the video. Although, to be fair, if I had to buy an instant camera, it wouldn't be this one... because it seems to me that once you start including an LCD screen & video mode and then being able to fiddle before you chose what to print, it's not instant photography anymore and potentially anyone with a mobile phone could do these edits in apps and then wirelessly send the photo to a mini printer which costs less money & can be just as small (SP2 or SP3). I agree with you about the "no tripod mount": Whooot? On the positive side, it does save on film costs because you never print a "bad" one if ou can pick before printing...but again, to me that's not what an instant camera should be. For that reason, I chose the SQ6 and I'm really loving it (I also shoot a lot with Polaroids). Anyway, it's good to watch your feedback, cute dogs, and you sound like a lovely person :) Enjoy your new camera, I can't wait to see what you can do with it in future videos.

That’s pretty cool with all the features. The old Polaroid cameras had not a lot of setting options, but this one looks like you have a lot of adjustment, like when you made the shot in the snow look more natural when you increased the exposure, as most cameras on automatic mode will try to make the snow look grey instead of white. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, the lack of tripod hole was a nasty surprise. I love my SQ20 but FFS I have a cheap little nothing digital camera with a tripod hole. That's pretty standard.
Just have to McGiver it. I was out to dinner with friends and I wanted to take a group picture. I took 3 beer bottles and put a (hard cover) menu on top of them and then rested the camera on that. The picture came out great but there really should be a tripod hole.

Hey you mentioned taking this to a concert and I was wondering if you’ve ever taken a Polaroid to a concert before???? And if you have what was it like? Was it easy to get the film and make sure you had good photos? Also which Polaroid or instax model would you recommend taking??? Just because I’m actually seeing Ariana grande in August and you said that you could take this to a gig and I immediately wanted to do it and just wanted to see if you had tips or pointers x
I wouldn't recommend taking the instax mini 8 or 9 cause the photo you take will probably not show up(or be of really low quality like mine was unless you are like super close) as it is really dark. Didn't have a lot of luck myself taking my camera to a concert but if you have a camera like the sq10 or sq20 you can always look at the picture before printing so I don't see why not

Hi I recently bought a SQ20 but somehow the photo quality seems a little dull and bland compared to a Mini. However I love the square frames, so I am thinking whether I should get a SQ6 too??? :( also the filters for the SQ20 somehow doesn't come out as nice as I thought it would. Am wondering whether is it just me but somehow the older models (mini 8 and 9) have a nicer, warmer and more analog feel to its photos?

Hello Teodore! I’ve been looking forward to buy this camera. I am still deciding whether to get the SQ6 or this one. The main reason I like this one is the preview of the picture, mainly because I wouldn’t like to waste my film since it’s expensive and hard to get in my country. But I’ve read so many mixed opinions! Is the quality of the pictures really that bad? Are them blurry? I know that SQ6 gives you the experience of a real analogue camera, but would you say this hybrid is worth it?

Nice video, explained with detail. Could you please do test shots at night? I own an sq10 and the night shots are nice even with the flash suppression. Something I found a bit discouraging for buying the sq20 was that there's not a manual/ auto switch, and that the led flash range it's only up to 2 meters (sq10 is 8 meters)but the zoom ability is very appealing and also the moving subject capture. Lovely channel, regards!
Not gonna lie, I've tried it in the dark, and it's awful in low light, even with forced flash, but that's just my opinion, and I hope you have better results than I do with your sq10!

Depends! Watch some reviews. I personally prefer the 20 because of the additional features.
probably too late but the SQ10 has a better sensor, a tripod mount, a larger viewing screen, and a removable battery... the SQ20 is a clear downgrade

I love the fact you're putting details into your reviews, they made it to determining 🤪 Tbh I feel like the whole point of Instax is becoming too "modern" or "technologically". Compared to previous Instax cameras you'd only need to replace the battery, which I understand can be a hassle, but from here on out you'd only need to charge it using the cord.

It honestly depends. I prefer the SQ20 due to its tools and filters but lots of people dislike it due to the fact that you can’t take photos in badly lit areas.

Duy Trần well the sq10 is more popular but I really want the SQ20 for its collages, double exposure etc. If your looking for quality get the sq10 and for tools and good looking photos get the SQ20

Sorry to say but its been two years you still didn’t watch any review on youtube about the camera(something what they have or not) before buying it the same thing like what happen with polaroid GO and SQ1 because of that you missed a lot of functions

Wrong, it’s not a zoom lense..... it’s just a digital zoom..... which is bad
Also the lenses are the same, the sq20 just has a smaller sensor, so the sq10 seems wider.
I think the sq10 is the better choice between the two, the batterie is also a plus on the sq10.
Fuji should also update the sq10 firmware to have those motion features.
Not necessarily bad because you might want to have the subject be closer or crop out the backround
