So to be sure you’re at TDC and not at 180 degrees, the crank mark would be at 180 opposite the tdc mark, even if the cam markings show tdc? LOL. You answered my question in the minute after i typed it. Thanks for not leaving that detail out like many others have.
In this type of engine. If the timing belt snaps will it bend all valves or just the intake side? Or is there a chance the head will not sustain damage?
Great video. I know this is off topic but I really need help with my 98 NB 2.0 /Catalytic Converter. I was able to remove it but it's to big to pass through the subframe. Do I just loosen the bolts of the subframe just to have enough clearance, do I need to remove it or do I need to cut and weld the darn thing? Btw, I'm also in CA that's why I'm doing it myself cause the Cat alone is too expensive compared to other State.
