this game mode has the perfect ability to make literally everything wrong happen in 2 seconds. it’s beautiful in that way. and that’s also why I believe overfishers are genuinely insane

Those Crab Tank clips just goes to show how awful it is in Salmon run. I prefer wave breaker over it, at least you move on immediately after you use it.
@@chrisnguyen2316 I think all the specials have their use cases, but Crab is the “worst” out of them imo. It’s not a very good panic button/crowd clearer. Usually when I’m using it, it’s to take care of faraway Flyfishes and Stingers. At that point, I’d rather have Tristrike (you’re not stuck in Crab form) or Inkjet (better mobility and utility).
@@Otaku03494 i'll give that it's not great in panic situations, and other specials can take care of statics easier, but being able to gun down big shot spam and king salmonids gives it an advantage. "worst" special for me either goes to reefslider or wavebreaker, and they still have their useful niches
@@chrisnguyen2316 Yeah, those reasons are valid too. The DPS is crazy on Crab and being able to do so from a relatively safe distance is nice. Can definitely see why Wavebreaker or Reefslider might be someone’s worse. None of the specials are bad, just some have nicher use cases.

huge disagree, when set up properly it's one of the best specials. unfortunately, jank can and will happen, but that doesn't invalidate how good it is
