Touched my soul. My father was a violinist he used to play this and my mother and two sister sang beautifully. I know the lyrics and the tune as well and can play on my guitar. One of my favorites. But all in minor cords thus sad.

I studied opera singing on a conservatory of classical music, but gods, I wish we were learning this instead of Mozart, Wagner, Bizet, etc.!
