The fact that it's both a grab AND an aoe means it has to be respected so much, that thing is a nightmare when you're getting ganked
It is all fun and games when you use it, until you have to 1v3 them.
Ngl, I think I would have preferred if the weapon kept its original spiny shape, I think it just looks cooler that way, but GSoD doesn’t disappoint in its current form.
What's crazy is that it's very easy to dodge and punish, but people are so aggressive it let's invaders get away with it lmao. It ain't busted, people are just dumb.
It for sure is bugged with the hitbox, but you are 100% right on people being aggressive with invaders and gosh is it free real estate.
Only if you macro space though
It would be easier to dodge if you were allowed to roll out of it though instead of it grabbing through i-frames 💀
Easy to dodge my ass. Have anything past 100ms on ping and that shit grabs you from 5 meters away and through i-frames. Plus it has roughly a grab sphere of like 1.5m of radius. That shit's massive.
@@andrearomanini7043 Then it's a latency problem. Not the move itself. Lag always messes with movesets and fights in souls games. This is no different.

I got stepped on by this and came out with 15 health. The invader thought I was dead, but I came up swinging and won.
Greatsword with R2 pokes and Omg it even has inescapable grab attack (drops the card)
Nerfs incoming along with everything else that can be deemed fun I personally don’t do PvP but when I get summoned and get killed by the Midra weapon I just be laughing that move is brutal

Ran this at lvl 181 I had V50 M26 E35 S94 D16 I10 F20 and A9.
Basically dumped everything into strength as the skill seemed to scale better with it over Faith. You can adjust Endurance, Mind, Vigor as needed.
@@aTypicalMushroom, isn’t the strength at 96 overkill?
I think the dmg would be better for you if strength was at 80 (due to cap) and the other 16 levels was put into faith or vigor?
The build centres around skill dmg so having more faith can improve the dmg of other skills/incantations for you as well, such as pest threads spear. (This one melted dragons easily)

@@checkmate9099100% is overkill, my one objective was that single move, you can balance stats out a bit for sure putting it into vigor or faith as mentioned.
I also am no build guru and just was having fun.
