It was also weird that they'd say she didn't deserve to be Miss Congeniality depite the fact that she never attacked or degraded anyone, never stirred up drama, never backstabbed anyone, etc. She lent her porn out to them, defended Charlie's right to speak, & supported each of the girls during their lows. They just didn't like that she was playing a character on the show. I learned that Valentina had gone into a deep depression after her elimination & cut off the world. It wasn't until right before the reunion that she started to recover from it. So when Farrah called her out for not returning her texts & Alexis was calling her out for not responding to the online hate, Valentina didn't know how to explain bc she didn't want to air her mental health issues on Live TV. Farrah made up with her after Valentina had a chance to explain in private tho. Her & Aja also made up and planned a few gigs together, they even dressed up as each other for Halloween. Her & Trinity have always remained sisters and still have each other's backs. Her & Peppermint had a ritual of going to the pool during their off days on their season, but became full besties during the Werk The World tour. Peppermint has defended Valentina multiple times since & had to explain that what we see on TV as Valentina is different from James the boy. Shea has also explained that the issue with Valentina wasn't that she was a bad person, it's that she was too focused on her character & being "on" for the cameras, that while everybody in the cast was able to get to know each other authentically, they didn't get a chance to connect to James' real persona. Truth is, Valentina/James didn't come on the show to make friends. She came in with the mindset of a businesswoman & focusing on her brand. I can't be mad at her for that, but I can also see why the cast felt like she wasn't being real. But that was her strategy, and it worked. She's a millionaire. She controls her narrative, whether a diva or villain or superstar. She even embraced the false rumors about the Red M&Ms and Champage (which was actually Nina Bonina) & turned that into merch. That's some marketing genius. And you don't have to like her. Say what you want about her, but she knows EXACTLY what she's doing. Luckily, a few people saw past some of her flaws & became close friends with her in spite of it all. I think her mug is always one of the best. It’s a solid drag look and very distinctive. Her body highlighter (like in her lip sync to “Into You”), her wigs are high quality, her personality, the telenovela moments, etc. She has all the elements to go to the finale. The problem is her garments. She had really weak outfits. Now, if she had the Gottmik budget and just outspent everyone, using 3 or 4 different designers to make jaw-dropping looks? She’d be in the finale. And that’s what most of these queens do nowadays. I’d like to see what these queens do when they’re forced to do it like in Project Runway Season 1 (making an outfit out of corn husk, etc.).

Jinkx made an entropy sink in the universe when she did that perfume commercial. Every season after 5 we see more and more delusional queens go on stage to gloat while doing poorly. At the very least, it is by far the most iconic perfume commercial done in RPDR.
