    Lisa, awesome review. I think if I decide I will get the 120 set. It has more browns, grays and skin. Linsey of fugal crafter said that if you add to the sixty set go with the 36 skin set to round off your set. Can’t wait to see how you like the real brush markers. I love mine. I have some alcohol markers I just have to practice with them. Just not as sure with them as the watercolor colors markers and water color pencils. Love you little scare crow and card.

      Thanks Carol. I agree about the 120 set, as long as you like to color. I’m excited to try out the real brush markers.

    Mary Polanco (I think that's the spelling) has a video and a link to her color chart. It was a game-changer! Thank you for the video.

    Beautiful card. I love the 120 set. So many blending colors. I do agree about the number system makes no sense. I will be using word to make the color chart. Thank you.

    Thank you for the video Lisa! I love watching you color. Beautiful! Do you like using the chisel tip or the brush? It seems the brush tips would be used more than the chisel to color.

    • @LisaMearsDesigns
      @LisaMearsDesigns  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Diana Wood Thank you Diana. I use the bullet point mostly. It’s good for getting into small areas. I use the chisel tip rarely. If I have a larger image to color, I may use it.

    I love my 120 set. But I to don’t understand the number system. Do you know if they have a color chart that we can fill in and have a better understanding on blending colors? Thank you for sharing.

      I have searched all over the Internet for a color chart and cannot find one anywhere.

    Hi Ms Lisa. Beautiful card, as always. Does the quality compare to the other set other? The tips differ, of course, so does that change the “flow” of your techniques ?

    • @LisaMearsDesigns
      @LisaMearsDesigns  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What other set are you referring to? It doesn’t compare to Copics. Those are higher end markers and more expensive. Copics range from $6-8 per marker..quite expensive. I feel these Arteza markers are comparable to Soectrum Noir. They are good for anyone on a budget. That’s my opinion.

      Ms Lisa - like the Stampin Up and Gina K type markers. There are a few brands out there... and for beginners, almost overwhelming. It’s nice to have someone we can learn from and trust to help us along. Blessings !

      BeBe W I’m not familiar with the markers you mentioned.

    Lisa, I have only colored very few images and I am very much a beginner but would like to get better. Would you say these are good for beginners? I liked the scarecrow you did and I feel it blended pretty well. My biggest issue with coloring is the harshness between different colors. I’m not sure if my issue has just been the markers I use or if it is my technique. Any suggestions or advice?

    • @LisaMearsDesigns
      @LisaMearsDesigns  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Teri. These are definitely good for beginners. The harshness between different colors could be because there is not enough of a range of colors within a color family. For example, the greens that I used for this card only had the two green colors within that specific color scheme. If I were to try to color a larger image with only those two colors, it would’ve been very hard to blend. The more colors within a specific color family, the easier it is to blend. When I was first learning, I had to watch a lot of videos and took some classes. I’m still learning, but now I’m understanding more than when I started. I suggest watching some TH-cam videos on coloring with alcohol markers to get some other perspectives on coloring.

    • @terihopper6088
      @terihopper6088 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you think the set of 120 markers would be better than just the 60? So that there are more range of colors for each like the greens and browns?

  • @rosiecooper1261
    @rosiecooper1261 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Thanks for sharing these. I see a difference in these and the others but it looks like for the price they are a good marker.

    • @LisaMearsDesigns
      @LisaMearsDesigns  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, there is definitely a difference between these and the higher end Copic markers. But for those on a budget, this is a good alternative to Copic.

    Lisa which store can I get these markers do they sell them at Michaels or hobby lobby also do you know if they go to the scrapbook expo shows?

    • @LisaMearsDesigns
      @LisaMearsDesigns  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe you can only get them online at Arteza’s website. Look at the description box for a link to the site.

  • @Almasews
    @Almasews 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I think they don’t blend as well as copics.

    • @LisaMearsDesigns
      @LisaMearsDesigns  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree, but they are definitely a good choice for those on a budget who don’t want to spend $8 a marker. I think they are comparable to spectrum noir.

    • @LisaMearsDesigns
