    I love the finished product. The cards turned out beautiful I also appreciate the details about how to blend and color I have struggled with my coloring and you really taught me what I was doing wrong. I will try out the products of markers. Thank you so much.

      Thanks so much, Janet! Blending and shading has never been a strength for me, but the bullet nibs, great colors and then working on the Heffy Doodle paper has improved my coloring 100 fold! Thanks so much for watching!

    Wow such beautiful cards and colours. I don't have much experience with alcohol markers. The flower stamps that you use were so pretty and spring like. Thanks.

      Thank you so much Stephanie! Alcohol markers can be expensive and have quite a learning curve, BUT these are a great choice for beginners. I love the colors, the nibs are great and they are way more affordable than other options!

    Your cards are just lovey. And the coloring turned out so nicely. I have those markers but I struggle with them. Although to be fair I struggle with ALL alcohol markers. I need to practice more & you have inspired me to do just that. I just took a break from chores to watch this video. I’m gonna finish up & go stamp some images to color. Thanks Rebecca. 😊

      I've always struggled with alcohol markers too! Have you tried the Heffy Doodle alcohol marker friendly paper? That was a game changer for me!

      @@RebeccaKeppel I have not tried that paper, though I do have some Spectrum Noir paper. But to be honest I’ve only used it a couple of times, I normally go for me Neenah 80lb. I’ll make an effort to remember my SN paper & see if that helps. Thanks!

    Zooming in late to catch up & what do I spy, Miss Rebecca? Aww he is so cute!! Love him. Can't believe the poor woodpecker is doing that! Ouchie! Hope the pigeons are behaving.
    The markers look wonderful & I really love the cards you made. Colourtastic. Thanks so much 🪶🐦🦆🕊❣🤩

      LOL! I know I feel so bad for the poor guy and his beak! The pigeons remain raucous! Simon Hurley asked me to guest on his Pinterest Live this week and I was sitting in the office waiting to go live and they were SO LOUD! I thought for sure people would hear them! LOL!
      I really did love these markers! Especially since I am such a fan of those bright colors. Thanks for stopping in!

    We have a woodpecker who taps on the metal part at the top of our brick chimney. Opps, I guess we shouldn’t have cut down that poor storm ravaged tree a couple of years ago. 🤣 Great cards as always. 🤗🇨🇦🤗

    Beautiful job! I don't think I've seen you color that much in your videos. You did a great job! Those markers really seem awesome. Of course I went with the expense markers (Copics)...where were you that day!? LOL! Just kidding. I'm definitely letting some people I know that were asking me about alcohol markers that those seem quite affordable and that they blend really nice! Have a wonderful rest of your day!

    • @RebeccaKeppel
      @RebeccaKeppel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you, Liz! I definitely don't have a lot of confidence in my coloring skills so I don't share coloring all that much, but I really loved the colors available in this set and found them very easy to blend!
      Well... your Copics will be with you for life! You can refill them and replace the nibs so there's not much better than that. I do have a bunch of Copics but I was never able to afford an entire set, so I like to fill in with some fun colors from other brands!
      Hope the rest of your week is wonderful!

    I really liked this video. I got these markers awhile ago and never knew how to use them (I never used alcohol markers before). This was so helpful. Question: can I use any cardstock with these markers or do I need special paper?

    • @RebeccaKeppel
      @RebeccaKeppel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much Carolyn!
      Great question! I would say...try what you have. Especially if you have something smooth in your stash. But, if it doesn't perform the way you want, it could be the paper. My coloring has improved GREATLY by using the Heffy Doodle alcohol friendly paper!

    Very pretty. Does anyone ever use the chisel tip? I would rather have a bullet tip and a brush tip

    • @RebeccaKeppel
      @RebeccaKeppel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Chisel tips can be useful for making backgrounds and I know illustrators use them but yes, that would be great!

  • @susanwietsma7939
    @susanwietsma7939 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    How do they compare with copic

    • @RebeccaKeppel
      @RebeccaKeppel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hard to compare because Copics are brush tip. I really like the bullet nibs and as I mentioned in the video, I had no trouble blending three tones of color for each flower. I feel like the brights in this set are true brights, but are still blendable.

  • @stephanieloughead4479

    Can you use these markers in adult colouring books?

    • @RebeccaKeppel
      @RebeccaKeppel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't see why not!! You might not be able to blend quite as easily if the paper is not smooth, but you would definitely be able to color nicely!

    I have these markers, a bigger set & love them EXCEPT I think it would be nice to have lighter shades, they are all pretty bold.

    • @RebeccaKeppel
      @RebeccaKeppel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Interesting that even the bigger set doesnt have some lighter shades! Do you have other alcohol markers you could use them with?
