      Idk if he scored forty all lefty, but it’s extraordinary nonetheless. I believe I have that story posted and he had 21 field goals and 10 were left handed 😂 Larry Legend!!! Thanks for the comment buddy. He finished with a 121-120 win in overtime posting 47 pts, 14 rebounds, and 11 assist. Unbelievable 🤯

    Let me tell you something son.
    Larry Bird and I played in a huge Pro-Am tennis tournament at Waltham Racuet club 30 years ago.
    I was the pro, we made it all the way to the finals.
    Larry was the best, no matter what I asked him to do, he would follow through. Great personality too.

      My first wife was a die hard laker fan, so we watched a lot of NBA back in the day. I remember Bird batching players loafing. Within seconds, he had the ball and was down court scoring.
      I saw an interview with Joe Kline once asking him about defending Kareem's skyhook. He said "there is no defending it, you turn and his belly button is eye level with you, and he's 7' tall". Lol

    Larry Bird is another one of those legendary players. I'm not exaggerating when I say his ball skills were second to none and I honestly can't recall him EVER missing a shot. Although I'm sure he did, but I don't recall seeing it.

The joke to the story is that he just assumed Bird was black because of how good he was. It has nothing to do with Bird being accepted as an honorary brother. And it has nothing to do with my insecurities. It was a simple story with a light-hearted joke that you obviously didn't get.

    I didn’t care for Larry Bird, because I was a 76ers fan and that should explain why, however I enjoyed watching him play . He’s definitely one of the best.
