  • Horse tack is very exciting, especially if you are new to horsemanship or horse ownership. Here we talk about the horse tack that we use in team roping and dressage and why. If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments below! Thanks.

      @@BarrettHouser what makes you decide to go with super soft over soft or med soft rope, I’m new to roping, probably should’ve asked first but I ordered a soft head and med soft heel in the hypnotic, what rope would you go for to use in calf tie down

    • @BarrettHouser

      Just depends on how it feels. Weather has a lot to do with it as well. Ropes will feel different in warmer or cooler weather. I don’t calf rope, so not sure on that.

    What bit is that? I’m looking at getting a ported chain bit to try. Was looking at one from reinsman or one from Tyler magnus series. Have you tried any of those?

    • @BarrettHouser
      @BarrettHouser  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I haven’t personally but both are probably good.

    When you have the tie down put it behind the breast collar so your horse doesn’t get his front foot caught when running.

      If you want to do it that way, then go for it. That's not how I do it though.
