I gambled and booked everything one week early before we met Roma. Decided to fly in to Krakow then cross 4 days later in to Liev and train it back! Losing that final will put Liverpool on a path of redemption. We got Fabinho already (who appears to be the reason Bakayoko played so well 2 seasons ago), plus keita, & if we add Oblak or Allisson...we're in a good position. We just need winger depth in my opinion.
We used to be the team with decent talent that out worked you....but now because we overachieved....we're recruiting elite talent to replace all deadwood leftover from Brendan Rodgers.
Next year we'll outwork with you with world class talent. Very Scary.

He does need to earn silverware and Liverpool fans expect and deserve that. However, put things in perspective. Think where were were as a club just a few years ago; nearly bankrupt and lost. True progress takes time, and he has to do it whilst bridging the gap with clubs with far more resources. The only reason he's even being compared to the likes of Zidane and Pep is because he has set the bar high for himself by getting Liverpool to three finals in 2 1/2 seasons, going toe-to-toe with the richest teams in the world along the way. The silverware will come. In the meantime, the media can do one.
Also worth noting he took over BVB in a very similar situation, and it took him two seasons of 6th and 5th place finishes before he won the title. He did win the DFB-Supercup in his first season, but how easily we could be saying that about the League Cup or the Europa League if misfortune had gone a little differently.
Anyway, onward and upward. Looking forward to seeing our beefed up midfield in preseason!
