- On early Friday morning, Israel launched a strike against Iran, following through on their vow to retaliate after Iran’s strike on Israel last weekend. The growing tensions have stoked fears of a potential World War III, as Israel’s war against Gaza continues to receive unconditional support from the U.S.
In order to respond to this breaking news, Zeteo hosted an online town hall with our latest contributor, foreign policy analyst Rula Jebreal, who answered questions not only from founder and CEO Mehdi Hasan, but also from paid subscribers.
In the call, Jebreal discussed how the violence in the Middle East is already spilling into the U.S., how other Arab nations could react, and what Western citizens can do to hold their governments accountable.

As an Italian who has been actively pro-Palestine for over 20 years, let me just say that Rula Jebreal and Francesca Albanese, as fellow Italian women, are making me proud, and this is coming from someone who normally hasn't got a patriotic bone in her body! But considering how utterly shameless and embarrassing our ruling/political class have been in these past decades, even I strive to find something to make me believe in my country again! Its institutions rather than its people - because the former are grovelling to Israel without a shred of dignity. If Israel were to stop their human rights violations, this goes away.
What antisemitism ISN’T: protests and criticism of Israel for their egregious crimes against humanity.

Correct Born Jewish myself, I have always wondered how the diaspora came about and why Jews were hated or persecuted in all times and places in the world. Now I wonder whether the whole world is bad or whether the Jews there own behavior also is to blame
The diaspora came about from the Roman Empire.
I think its the difference is between judaism and zeeonism. In my eyes the two are fundamentally different and opposed. As a Brit of Christian Palestinian heritage I would be interested in what you think.

Well they are honest to a certain extent but please understand there still a lot problems through out the world. The Middle East and Gaza is just a small part of it. Please understand that right now as I am posting this comments, there are 40 nations on brink of famine and starvation.
Just remember the Houthi suffered greatly under Saudi war. Many of thousands of their children suffered and died. The Syria Civil War saw hundreds of thousands of people lose their lives. Palestinians are not the only one that have suffered in the Middle East and yet they don't really talk about that.
