It seems to me that you possess all the ideals a farmer should aspire to. You work with nature instead of against it, making your animals feel comfortable, safe and calm. In turn they reward you with healthy offspring.

These wonderful values are rarely found in the West where industrial farming has taken over and people have lost contact with nature.

He is even harvesting "tree hay", something I just learned is being done here in the USA by some & is actually an old practice. I can remember when brooms were only made out of straw & sticks, not the plastic ones you see today. People in many places used what they could find in creation to make tools or food for themselves & their animals. 🕊👍🏻👍🏽👍🏾

Robert, that kind of broom is what people in the province in my country use to make and use inside the house and they sell them in the market. As we have lots of coconut trees 🌴 also in the Philippines, the leaves of the coconut is what we use in sweeping the ground. We scrape the leaves from the stick and thats what we use as broom 🧹.

One of my grandmother use to make broom from the coconut tree leaves when she lived in her old country. She use to let the leaves dry out then strip it to get the pointer/stem.. She called it pointer broom.
