A Big shout out to the "Sponsor" of todays video - the guy who "sold" the Trike and made todays video possible!! This was great to see, thank you dude!
👍👌💪💪💪💪🤝🇬🇧🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
🫡 thank you for your donation 🙏🏻
Back in my day whenever I got on one of those things they would flip over because they are unstable. Not to mention I got clotheslined by a fence, got hit by a car, flipped it in the snow, and rode off a cliff. Those things are death traps and should be banned by all humans forever.
Shoutout to Vinny, I like my hat.
@@ants4100 sounds more like user error. 😅
Joe, your videos are a wealth of knowledge and troubleshooting skills. Reminds me of watching my dad work on bikes when I was a kid, without the yelling about me not holding the flashlight in the right place.
I used to watch my dad adjusting the valves on his Royal Enfield Bullet, my earliest memory at about 3 years old. Later, they had a Triumph Tiger 500 with sidecar for my little sister and I, mother on the pillion seat.
Thanks to the gentleman for the donation to the channel. The satisfaction of watching it run again hopefully was worth it. Great story! Great video!
Thanks Joe. I really enjoy your content.
How honest to offer to pay the owner a $200 congrats to you Joe.
Respect!
Joe knows 😂
I am 74 and this brought back a lot of good memories with my son and daughter and nephews. Thank you Joe!
I am 55 years old and this was the first 3-wheeler that I ever had as a kid! It was identical to this machine!! Wow, this brings back a lot of great memories!!!! Thanks for sharing and thanks to the guy that donated it!!!! Joe, you are an amazing mechanic!!!! Keep up the great work and keep the videos coming!!! I love your channel!!!
Too cool Joe!
As a kid, we wore the hide of these Honda 110s. Then the 185s came and we were blown away until the 250r.
What a great machine Honda built.
Retired USAF aircraft electrician here. Twenty-four years of flightline maintenance was enough. I'll never touch an aircraft ever again unless I'm riding in it. But I've always loved motor sports, and I've always loved fixing things. I'm currently building up two Kawi quads. I've learned a lot here, and I'm looking forward to more. Keep it coming!!
Ahhh a tweak
How cute 🥰
Best channel on TH-cam! I have a 1982 Honda z 50r that was my daughter’s first bike. Now I’m going to fix it up for my granddaughter and it’s been sitting awhile. But with today’s amazing video I learned a lot and now I feel way more confident about getting it running good for her. Thanks again Joe for another great video
When you check for tool kits with whatever it is you work on. Is like a mini side quest that we didn't know we needed in your videos. 😂
Also Joe loves when the lights work
My first atv! Then upgraded to 185S..then a 200. Pulled several deer out of the woods with this model.
Gefeliciteerd, had ook niet anders verwacht 🙂 Ik geniet van iedere video. Groeten uit Nederland
I have to say a Huge thank you to the "seller" for this gift, brought back a lot of memories. And the Condition ! Wow.
Growing up, I had a 1983 Honda big red.
Loved that Three Wheeler.
I am also blind and had enough vision to write it around successfully back then.
Always freaked out the neighbors
Way cool of the guy to donate that clean 110 ATC. About 20 years ago I was buying, fixing and selling these ATCs. I would always keep a few around for me and my kids to hot dog around on, they are a blast! Harder to find now days. Love your channel, you are an ace at troubleshooting.
Had one of these as a kid, until i moved up to a 185s then a 200 big red. They are super simple, us 10-11 year old kids did all our own work on them, so either we knew what we were doing, or honda was very forgiving.
Watching your videos, has honestly giving me so much confidence! And knowledge thanks Joe!! I now have fixed my old yz my cousins 06 Honda 450 my nephews Polini 50 cc and his wife’s xr!…. Who needs cable and Netflix when we got you haha
i like your systematic approach to working on those smaller engines, especially when u do the older stuff. thank u for your time, i appreciate u for it.
This sure brings back memories! Back in the early 80's, we had a 70, 110, and a 250. So much family fun! Great diagnoses! Need to run that brake cable under the tank
Good deal it is hard to beat “free”, you are a very honest and good person for offering to throw a few bucks the sellers way. Enjoy watching you work your magic and bringing these dead machines back to life.
thanks for another great video and to the person who donated the 3 wheeler for this to happen well done sir
Joe your channel has blown up , good for you and all your hard work! Bring back Chuck for an old race video
The simplicity of those old machines are why they outlast anything newer. That is a fantastic score. Kudos to the donator for not letting it just rust away.
Last week I was just wondering where is a video when the woodriff key shears. Now here is it. Thanks for all the invaluable lessons.
This was a pretty good deal, the only thing that would make it better is if the seller gave him cash to load it up ! I would say that its the best deal period.oh yea i would deal with the rust on the bottom of the gas tank before it starts to leak but the second you touch it it's going to start leaking but you can maybe catch it before it blows. Great video Joe.
Great looking ATC, thank you for the donation. Nice addition to Joe's World of Wheels when it gets running
Careful riding, those trikes were tippy and 2Vinny needs his gravy train
Hi Joe great job once again , just a quick tip use your multimeter on continuity to set the points via the points wire . Or use a bulb . Keep up the good work 👍
I am so glad you were able to bring back this legend! My cubby had a 110 and I had a 125M. We had some great times together riding those machines. And just in case you were wondering. Yes they do float with these ties on!!.
Had one of these didn't know it had low range for a couple years until I replaced the chain lol was a game changer for climbing hills in arkansas
Those three wheelers were dangerous, but we rode the hell out of them!
We were dangerous
Dangerous as hell i ran my leg foot over once then i learned not to do that again 😂
Wheelie makin ankle breaking fun
This thing looks amazing I absolutely love 3 wheelers
You've seen your share of destroyed engines over the years so its nice to see a good win for the home team! Cute little thing but watching you do donuts on the driveway on two wheels reminded me why they stopped making them due to all the accidents and liability problems. Have fun with it but please don't hurt yourself!
Joe, you should buy yourself a PETZL Head lamp for working in those dark areas, will also help us see better at what your doing, will also free up both your hands, they are nothing short of brilliant. Great video again and a cheap fix
NICE! I have 2 1984 Big Red 250's in mint condition. My Dad and Uncle haven't used them in 30 years. Both are running like new now and are a ton of fun!
What a beauty. Nice work. You got her dialed in.
I felt from the start that it was a sheared woodruff key. You proved that in the same grand style of all your videos. I really respect your sense of fairness in giving the "seller" $200. You're a great man. Thanks. (BTW, I used to own equipment rental stores. Repaired many a small engine with sheared woodruff keys.)
This brings back memories. I had that exact machine as a kid. All my friends would come to the farm and we would ride it all day.
Hi Joe, you can use your continuity tester across the points gap to see when they open....much more accurate then visual...
That's a keeper. I've never seen one in that great shape
Seeing you out there on the test rides reminded me of how much fun the three wheelers were!
Great job as usual, Joe! Many thanks to the gentleman that offered the Atc.
This is my childhood right here. My dad got me 110 when I was 3. He fixed it up and I started riding it when I was 4. when I was 7 he got me a 85 250es that I still have, im 35 now.
Great job figuring this ATC out!, you do a great job joe. You appear to be an honest and humble guy and it looks like you are receiving dividends from your behavior, you deserve it. I’ve said it before but this is the best TH-cam channel!
My first trike was a 85 110. Those bikes did not change much. So loved watching you rip around in the snow, brought back so many memories. Keep fixing them.
This repair was genius as usual. When know he is like a hound dog searching for the scent. I was amazed how he got us to the problems in a quick order so we all could learn. 😊😊
Great job finding the issue! I might add, you are a tall guy, and when you first mounted that "Lil' Hondo" it sorta looked like a "Bear Humpin' a basketball" Just kiddin' with ya! Thanks for the video!
An excellent piece of trike history, thats a keeper.
I had a 85 Big Red 250 for 15 years, the guy I sold it to is still using it
This takes me back to my childhood love these old machines and they were tough as nails!
That 110 is beautiful. The guy that donated this awesome 80s throw back is a very cool man. Thanks brother
Joe can fix it.
A friend of mine had one of these 110’s when we were kids.
What a blast it was to ride.
Owned one of these about 30 years ago . Used it as a golf buggy . Excellent machines , very reliable .
Another awesome job Joe I can watch all your videos over and over i never get bored watching them thanks again
Brings back great memories my first time in the desert on a 3 Wheeler ATC 90 and 110, so fun!
Love to see ya do a sidecar bike so Vinnie could go on a test ride with ya!
My buddy is a sidecar man he has Three sidecar bikes two Harley and a Honda he gives my pitbull Luna rides all the time even in the winter here in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania he rides year round !!!!!!
One thing about the Hondas you can't kill the old ones they were just built to last
I have a Honda generator it's 40+ years old. Thoroughly abused. Super reliable. That thing could stop a bullet and keep right on goin.
They were never known for speed... but there's not too many places (within reason) that they won't go.
I like when you work on the old stuff like this. So simple!
Been watching your channel for a while! Inspired me to start my own. Keep up the good work👍🏼
My 1st 3-Wheeler was a used 1979 110...From there I went to a New 83 185s, 84 200x, 85 200x, used 85 Tri-Z 250 and Finally my Last, the Holy Grail of all 3-Wheeler's...a 86 Honda 250r. I got out of 3-Wheeler's and Dirt Bikes back in the Early 90's as there were less Places to ride and all my Buddies got rid of theirs. I got back into it in 2021, some 30 Years later, with a 2021 Yamaha Grizzly 700 XTR SE and then added a 2019 Yamaha Raptor 700r SE and I'm Loving it all over again!
45 years old, a classic in superb condition and very collectible ! Enjoy your free ride.
Great work Joe! I’m old school keep the 3 wheelers coming
This fella has the strongest right arm of all TH-camrs.
Great job, just would like that exhaust pipe shroud rattle addressed and it would be perfect! You are my favorite all time youtuber!!
Joe, you found the key that unlocked the mystery! Will it run? Yes! Congrats! Those old Hondas really last!
Talk about "the elephant in the room" . Or rather, the fact that Joe doesn't immediately mention "the elephant"....Rear brake routing, NOT original/stock.😂 At 43:35 Joe had the opportunely to correct the routing but apparently did not even ecognize there was a problem
with the rear brake routing!😵💫🙄🤪 OKAY! 59:44 still😂
Can't beat these old Hondas. What a sweet machine. 👍
Vintage Honda, in that shape without running, worth 1k all day long
And more......collectors items now.try buying a 86 250 R or a CR 500.insane the prices.
My uncle bought one of those from an original owner that had very low hours. It spent most of it's life stored in a dry basement. The original owner bought it for his kids and they flipped it twice so he took it away from them and parked it. My uncle put a fishing rod holder on it and it made a perfect fishing vehicle he use on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Love watching.
I still have an affinity for atc's. Had a bunch of them over the years, favorites were the old 90s and 110s. My 200m i had for over 30 years, one rebuild, ran like new. Too much fun
I so look forward to getting my notification that you have a new video out. Thank you for taking the time to be so thorough in your explanations. Keep up the great work.
This is pure joy, thanks 2vintage 🙏🙏✨🤗
you have come on quite a long way since your first vids they were ...frustrating but now you are getting good well done mate well done!
Love the channel and the stuff I learned from it.. this job is a perfect excuse to buy a borescope for 50 bucks..
Great vid Joe, always love seeing new posts. These honda atc's hold a big part of my heart. I'll be 50 in June so I grew up riding these at my friends houses, but never had one when I was a kid. Ended up buying a whole pile of these things from 110's, 185s', big red 200's and 250's. Wife finally convinced me to sell the bulk of my collection off but I'm holding on to one of the big reds and one 185s. When I am dead and gone my daughter can decide their fate, until then, they shine in my pole barn.
Nice work Joe. That carb looked factory new.
Wow, super deal that man must be a really nice guy glad to know there’s still people in the world like that.
Back in 86 good buddy of my had one look just like that’s really a nice machine for ice fishing. That’s what we used in the old days.
That 1980 110 Honda is priceless piece of history. But after joe gave it a complete tune up cash value would easily $1000.00 no less. im 52 yrs old and I'm telling you it's a $1000.00- $1200.00 atc all day it's just what a seller wants and a buyer is willing to spend.👍 Japanese is the best way to go with off-road toyz!!!👍👍
Nice old 3 wheeler. The clutch cable go's under the fuel tank though. God video
Knowledge is power ! Good job !
Two thumbs up to you and kidney killer doner ! Brings back great memories Joe . Enjoy the ride young man 😊
What a class act you are! Giving the guy some $ even though he said you could have it!
I think you found another work utility for the land! Hats off to the gentlemen who gave you this also. Honda made alot of great products over the years. Great video!
Didn't realize how small that was until you stood next to it. Wow.
Appreciate the quick explanation of how you adjusted the fuel and idle screw, another great video
I didn't expect that could've been the problem, I why it sheared off. Great problem solving as usual and what a result. I haven't seen one looking so nice for ages.❤
Good point, why did that key shear off?
Also where did the sheared off bit go?
If it was worn away, where would the swarf go?
Smoking Joe's magic touch does it again! Great job, Joe 💯
Really INSANE to me that an 80 is 45 damn years old now!
What a total gem... The Wheeler and the seller!!!
Nice three wheeler, my uncle had one like it back in the day. Never had the money 💰 for one myself. Enjoy it.
what a little gem that Trike is, and free to roam again :)
I had a 1985 Honda ATC 110 growing up. Loved that thing! It did move out priddy good. Awesome video brother.
JOE! your outstanding without a doubt, very much enjoyed watching you do your work. This Honda 3 wheeler was so much fun, I never owned, one but my friend did, we ran that thing to near death, it and us. The one thing about this style of ride was you could role this wheeler really easy, got to be careful, especially on the turns. I would definitely put this one in my keep for ever collection, its a almost perfect example of 80's rippen. Have a great week you and your family, ready for the next one. Thank You Joe!
I can't believe we are so blessed with this awesome channel!
Nice one Joe that was a great score those three wheels look tons of fun, great gesture to chuck the seller $200 👍
If you were stuck in the middle of the desert with only a tool kit provided by the factory, you would still find a way to get your machine running again.
I worked with a man that sold me a lawnmower for $45. He told me the problem, then I took the deal, knowing what the problem was. I fixed the problem for $5, and 20 minutes of labor. When I got back to work, I gave him more money, knowing I could sell this lawnmower for a really good profit. In the end, my grandparents got a free lawnmower. Good luck JOE, and thanks for your determination and efforts.
that mate was great what a bike brilliant performance and what a nice last owner a gentleman for sure bless him and you of course ❤
Another blast from the past 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇬🇧
Fantastic video Joe. I must wonder what Honda was thinking wen they made this bike.
