Looks like somekind of over heating or flue spillage caused the rating plate to discolored. Don’t think it’s cigarette smoke. The gas line train looks like it’s stressed upward maybe just the camera view Maybe you should do a combustion test while you there if you haven’t considered it No pilot. Did you turn that off or did it blow maybe the condensate leaked on it. Is that red crock on wall a combustion inlet supply
@@HVACGUY Sounds like that unit just needs to go away. Drips on the wiring rather than down a drain; sick motor needs replacing anyway; how old was it?
Curtis that furnace is older than you are, must be exciting to work on old artifacts. You are a modern-day Arcioligest. I'm watching for the video where you go fix king Tucks heater.
That one looks like it is getting too old to trust! Fine Lizard 🦎 Have you ever ran across any Rattlesnakes on the jobs in Georgia? That is what would bother me, especially being in a crawl space with one! Looking forward to the next one 😊
judging by all the dirt in the Blower cabnet that Evap coil is plugged up
Doesn't anybody put bulbs in the hall way light fixture anymore. Good grief..lol.
The Indoor Unit Sounds like a Freight Train. Water running on the Electrical Plug is Bad News and a Fire Hazard. 🤔👎
I worked on a few of those. I always thought it was an odd design that they had a hood over the standing pilot. Good video.
Can't wait for next video on this unit 👍
Good work Yes that was a gecko.
Good video,I look forward to the follow up 👍 Au
That lizard can get you a good deal on car insurance.
Makes NO Sense where the Customer wasn’t Reachable since they Complained about it Not Working in the first place. 🤪👎
What was the high pitched ringing when you were checking the blower after it had shut off?
0:30 - Not gonna lie, I kinda like that "disconnect switch." 😁
Thanks Curtis. First real comment, lol.
Nice work Curtis.
Thanks!
Good video. Glad thats a full replacement. That thing looked to be more problematic then putting in new unit
We’ll be doing a repair on this one.
What meter leads are those? I like the quick needle style probes.
I think UEI makes the long needle style ones
Those are fluke twist guards. Needle tips also sold by fluke
the water cooled molex, blower connector and dead geckos around the contactor and cap, is always a good sign, haha
Sounds like thermal over load on the motor.

Combustión inlet
@@HVACGUY that’s good
Motor out on thermal
That was jimmy in the unit
Water cooled blower motor 😅
There's water dripping on the plug in the burner compartment and all contractors can stick.
Master Guy you dont have assistant?its dangerous sometimes you work alone
I have never seen a standing pilot/inducer combo how does the “pre purge” cycle not knock out the pilot?
What was the exact problem with this unit?
What about that gas flex line running through the furcace cabinet. Is that code in Georgia.?
No

What's with the Water?
It is the title outside unit running without inside I suspect iced up and defrosting.
Sounds like a changeout
