  • How to get more flowers on Roses? Here in this video, I have shared my BEST METHOD to get more flowers on Hybrid Rose plants. See, getting lots of flowers on Desi Rose or Indian Variety Rose Plants is easy and for that, we need to few things right way. But, it's different whenever we talk about Hybrid or English Rose plants. It's because, they are not habituated to too much hot and humid environment like us (for the people of Tropical Climate).
    So, to get more flowers on Hybrid Roses, we need to follow few rules and please note, we should do everything at the right time. In this video, I have provided all the details with updates - like when and how to do. Having said that, there may be differences between your results and mine. So, please look for the symptoms. No worry, you would get all info in the video.
    Believe me, I have suffered a lot to get more flowers on Hybrid Rose plants and I don't want you to face the same problem and search a lot about "Why my Rose Plant is Not Flowering". I have tried my best, got WAY TOO MUCH satisfactory results and so sharing here in this video. I have 20+ Rose plants and glad to inform you that all are doing fine. If you still have any questions, please let me know via commenting and I would be glad to assist you.

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are most welcome and thank you for your words 🙏 Yes, we shouldn't apply too much DAP. If we don't add any other fertilizers, we can apply 5-7 DAP Crystals at once for a 8 inch pot. But, in this case, I have applied organic fertilizers n so, we should avoid using too much of DAP. Please note, I have found this recipe after many trials n I m happy to inform you that, all of my Roses are doing quite well even though Summer is approaching. Thank you 🙂

  • @somandelhi
    @somandelhi 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Beautiful roses and very good outcome in flowering.Just one doubt, can we use the fertilizers you mentioned during Summer months like April-May when the temperature reaches near about 40 degrees .

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Glad you liked it and thank you so much for the feedback, much appreciated. We can use the same in Summer and I do it all the time. Having said that, in my place it doesn't reach to 40 degrees. So, you can decrease the Mustard cake fertilizer and use other as it is. Among all the components, only Mustard cake is strong fertilizer and if we apply more (in Summer), it may burn the roots.

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am really glad to know you are getting good results!!! In rainy season, we get few troubles mostly fungus attack and pest attack. So, need to apply both fungicide on pesticide on regular basis. If it rains within 24 hours, please apply again within next 48 hours. Other than that, if it's cloudy for many days on CONSTANT basis (like 10-15 days), please avoid applying fertilizers or other fungicide, pesticide etc. It's because, Photosynthesis would get decreased in the lack of Sunlight. And, if that time if we apply high dose of fertilizers, plants won't be able to use them effectively. Hope that helps..

      @Pranali Nalawade, Thank you so much for your feedback, much appreciated! I am agree with @raining _ houseplants. It's because of sudden increase in temperature. Other issues - lack of Sunlight and fertilizers. In Summer, please protect the plants from afternoon sunlight and provide only morning sunlight. Do you need to apply theeta if you are already using Neem oil spray weekly? Thank you!

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  ปีที่แล้ว

      To be honest..Neem oil is not much effective against some pests which create more problems in Roses. It would be okay if you don't use Theeta..but you would like to use Super Sonata [or similar product who does the same]. Works really well and I have shown the result in my new video - th-cam.com/video/qmB9z5uM-b8/w-d-xo.html
      It's not a Pesticide..instead, it's a growth promoter. Pests always attack all those plants which are not healthy and Super Sonata keeps the plants really healthy. Trust me, I am not trying to promote it. In fact, I am really happy after using it. No need to spray pesticide every week. One IMP note - In Summer, of course I am going to use Pesticide along with Super Sonata. Too tough to manage Roses in Summer :-(

    • @nikhilwarke1353
      @nikhilwarke1353 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It mostly because, neem oil covers the leaves area through which they do photosynthesis. So ,it's recommended that you should spray water on ur plant the day after u apply neem oil

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Rwicha Basumatary, Please avoid applying very high concentrated solution. Take only 5-7ml in 1 liter water and 4-5ml light hand wash. If the leaves are becoming weak, it's not because of applying Neem oil. Either you have taken more amount or there are other issues.
      Please avoid spraying water after applying Neem oil. Or else, there is no use of using Neem oil. Pest like Mealybugs may not die within just 24 hours. For indoor plants, please clean the leaves occasionally so that they don't get any trouble while photosynthesis.

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @nikhil warke, Appreciated for replying on behalf of me..but, I am sorry to say that, that's not correct. If we spray water, all Neem oil would be gone and there would be no use. We can do the same for all Roses. Indian variety doesn't need much care and feeding 6-8 times a year is enough..
