This song is kinda loosely connected to their older song "Boy In Luv". The Korean Title for this song is "A Poem For Little Things". This song, to me, is intended to basically say love isnt complicated when youre young. A "BOY with Love" just IS. (first, innocent love) He doesnt question what he feels for another, he just revels in what he has, and celebrates in the little details that bring him so much joy. Lol. The MV doesnt showcase Halsey's verse, but she did travel all the way to SK to meet the guys and made the effort to sing a verse in Korean in the full version of the song. 💜🔥

2. I see people suggesting 'Joke' by RM. So a little context- that song is more about the wordplay, cadence and rap technicalities than about the meaning. So go into that song considering the same.

Yes that was J-Hope. Halsey was given an opportunity to add a verse to the song, and she said that the song didn't need it. And she did add some lines and sings a bit more on the recorded version. It's okay not to like a verse or a song.
Fun Fact - This song is a part of the Map of the Soul Era of BTS which has 2 albums MOTS: Persona, and MOTS: 7. This is the title track for the Persona album, and the Introduction is Intro: Persona, which is an RM solo song that I think you will like. But, RM in a live stream with ARMY's shared that he wrote about 80-90% of this album, and that all but 2 songs were for or about ARMY's. And, if you listen to the albums, no 2 songs are alike. Poor thing is going to hear some shit for that.” But ARMY we all need to remember that each one of us are unique and that is what makes are individuality so special, so sometimes we just need to agree to disagree and keep things on the down low and respect each others opinion’s.

RM was the first to join and the best leader. but is in the middle age-wise. Ages range from 31 -26 starting with Jin-Suga-Jhope-RM-Jimin-Taehyung -JK.
They all trained for 3yrs-1yrs and debuted at ages 15-20. Super young and you see their growth and artists and as men. No hate. Some guys you like more in one song vs others. But then you add dance or vocal and visuals and your favorite changes again.

Here's how I feel about Boy With Love. I feel I'm not supposed to like it because it so "sweet." It's such a pop song. A guy actually caring about what you're doing or your thoughts? But what I can tell you about Boy with Love is; 70 thousand people, singing in a stadium and singing this song at the top of their lungs is a mind blowing experience. The stadium is rocking it's so loud. The euphoria of it all. You have to experience it for yourself to believe me. I hope you get to go to a BTS concert. I want you to have this experience.

I love it that you think RM must be a babe magnet--we international Armies agree, but the joke is that Koreans think he's ugly. His nose is too flat and broad, he has dragon eyes (the beauty standard is for "doe eyes"), etc, etc. Maybe that's changed since BTS has hit it big globally, but RM took a lot of flak for his looks in the early years. I hope that he's internalized the message that most of us find him gorgeous, and his charisma and emotional intelligence are even better.

Three rappers and four vocalists. Jungkook is the main vocalist, but all the vocalists have their turns. They are all capable of making it as soloists. Rm is the group leader, that means he represents them to the management or is the spokesman at interviews, he is the only fluent English speaker.
Alot of bts's songs dont have that super "poppie" sound. This is one of the few. Their music is incredibly versatile, between 4 vocalist and 3 rappers and being orignially a rap kpop group...they've decided there were no limits for themselves. And ARMY full heartedly supports that versatility. As long as they are themselves and speaking their truths, we love it. Plus they're truely skilled artist who go above and beyond to create superb music. They're musical geniuses.💜
