Professor in that final equation wave equation is there which is defined in the beginning depends on time also ...then how come it is time independent equation?
In the final equation what ever that wave equation psi is mentioned it is a function of position and time ...don't know how you people are missing this . In the final equation there is no ' t' term ...but what about the wave equation presented in the final equation. It's a function of time and position only which is defined in the beginning itself.
