That is a fluid. It is used to see the control and the flexibility of its head.

The water level and the bubbles move with the movement of the head accordingly.

For everyone who are wondering about this tripod I received it few days back and it’s below avg product works with so much care and my iPhonex fits in but coz of that weight I can’t keep and record it vertically ,it keeps sliding down and it’s very iritating u can’t record anything vertically and abt the screw,it’s very loose and u can’t guarantee its lifetime so over all I’m not impressed and I brought this tripod for 799 at Amazon but shine not marklif one !!! I’m going to retun this one as this is not serving my purpose of recording videos vertically !!

I mentioned in the clip about the quality, it is not good. Go for tripods from AmazonBasics. Those will be better than this.
