This video features a KSF CT251, 2091 (PV91), which is fron Mandai Depot to serve the TEL4 sectors as part of the preview, from TE22 Gardens by the Bay to TE23 Tanjong Rhu.
21st June 2024 marks the TEL4 preview, and it is definitely one of the much-anticipated events by everyone (including train enthusiasts). TEL4 sees 7 new stations which bring greater connectivity to the Eastern Side of Singapore! The preview happened from 12pm to 9pm, before the official opening of the TEL4 on 23 June 2024 (Sunday).
For this case, there was a shuttle train that plys between Gardens by the Bay and Tanjong Rhu stations so that the public can have easier access to the TEL4 stations, rather than taking a shuttle bus.
Note that at around 2:19, the train would also bypass Founder's Memorial, which is a station slated to be completed by 2028. You would also see a stable train at the other platform of Founder's Memorial. So for 4 years after the opening, all the trains would bypass Founder's Memorial at Full Speed (similar to the cases of Mount Pleasant and Marina South, just that this station has an expected opening year). This video also serves as a clearer view to Founders' Memorial station by showing the interior station design, even though the train was travelling at a fast speed towards Tanjong Rhu station.
Also this is probably the only time where the train heads bi-direction and wrong-rail all the way to Gardens by the Bay.
