- In this video, I'm showing you how to lower your Yamaha Jog 27v and add a gentsuki undercowl. This modification is perfect for people who want to add a little extra style to their rides, the correct way.
In true gentsuki fashion, we will be removing all suspension components to get this thing as low as possible. I'm also adding a type 2 undercowl to close up the gap underneath and make this thing a real street sweeper. The undercowl is made by Three-Piece and distributed here in the states by Gentsuki House!
Lastly, we take a trip to a local car meet to get some fun shots! Listen the the reaction, people love it!

Sick.... just bought a 87 jog. In mint. Completely stock do. Time for some upgrades
If i’m not missing something you can cut some of the spring off in order to lower it some i believe
You probably can. I can't go any lower as I already scrape over pebbles with my undercowl
Wow, magnificent and excellent video, I didn't know that this modification could be done, I'll try to do it on my Yamaha Jog... Where can I get those lights 10:40?
The tail light is called a "kuri-kuri" or a round and round light. These can be found on Yahoo Japan. The pink light is called a "marker light" and can also be found on Yahoo Japan
@@BrunerTuner Excellent thanks! I already searched on Google, but where on the page should I search, on the other hand, should I subscribe to that page to be able to buy? I ask because I have a Yahoo email account, but not from Japan!
@@BrunerTuner And do you have any videos regarding those LED lights?
Yahoo Japan is an auction site similar to eBay. You'll have to sometimes search in Japanese kanji to get results
@@BrunerTuner I found one, which I don't know if it's the one you used in the video; The model is the KR-100
Looks and sounds 👌
What carb are you running with aftermarket exhaust?
Stock carb currently. Looking to upgrade to a Cp17 or 19 in the future though
Looks sweet! Did you say K style? Do you have a link? Thanks.
My piece is actually from Three-Piece, but K style can be found below

@@BrunerTuner Thanks
Bruh the rev ups!!!
Is there a reason you didn't put a washer on the backside of the rivnut to spread the load on the plastic out?
I've actually never considered that. Honestly these aren't seeing much torque/tightness at all so I wasn't concerned
We be scootin!
I thought this would help me lower my Yamaha Mint (Razz in the US). But I have different front forks… I wish I could lower this thing already
Hard to tell from the diagrams but it looks very similar. There has to be some kind of circlip holding it in the forks
@@BrunerTuner I think there might be .. but I can’t get the damn rubbers off🤣 literally on my phone rn from frustration of not being able to get them off lmao
That really sucks man. Good luck with the project! Let us know if you managed to make it work!
@@BrunerTuner Will do👌🏼
@@BrunerTuner It was super difficult but I secured the bag😎👌🏼 absolutely love it now
Nice!!
Thanks my dude!

Did you remove the springs too or just the rubber bump stop?
I took all of it out and just ran the skateboard bushings
