I love the story about Norman Lear having to kill off Edith and how distraught he was. Jean couldn't understand why it was such a big deal. Norman explained to Jean that Edith wasn't just a fictional character. She wasn't fictional to him at all.
Was the character Edith arrested only because one or more person(s) at the time had believed that she was thinking too highly of herself at the time in New York where it gets dark earlier in the winter sometimes there too? Fun to watch when no character at the time in that episode needed first aid. Like for example when forgetting to take one item out of a bag to pay for it at the till or when leaving the house grabbing the wrong purse and then after leaving the store or when leaving a cab then realizing that the item or the ride hasn't been paid for yet. Like once during a real situation here in Edmonton, Alberta Canada once when a poor young woman during the winter once who left her allowance at home while taking a cab to a health cliniic too who needed help here in Edmonton, Alberta Canada when the cab driver didn't have any heart while the weather was so cold during a pandemic. Good thing nobody arrested her before she could pay the cab company instead for her ride after he left her outside in 30 below celcius weather in downtown Edmonton, Alberta Canada with no money. Often it takes a whole community to keep adults safe too. I don't know who she was. All I know is that more than one young student during the pandemic struggled more so because of it.
